In the context of the song, that hits really hard. Say that dialogue in your mind while Chisa shouts and pause for a moment and think of the lyrics of the song. I honestly teared up.
It's the attention to detail not only in their songs but also their presentation and MV which amazes me. Their MVs are so coherent and every little detail adds to the appreciation of the song. Thank you for supporting XG! Forever XG. Go ALPHAZ!!

Yes! In the beginning, Chisa shouts "Genki desu ka?" in Japanese. Asking, "Are you ok? " or "How are you?" and she answers herself by shouting "Watashi wa genki desu!" or translated, "I am fine". This scene is perhaps derived from "Love Letter" a 1995 Japanese romantic film written, directed and edited by Shunji Iwai in his debut feature film and starring Miho Nakayama. In the movie Nakayama plays 2 parts, one of the woman missing her deceased fiance after he died in a mountain climbing accident. Long after, she discovers his childhood address, and writes a letter to that address. And to her surprise, she gets an answer back, and it just so happens the girl living at that address, has the same name has her fiance.

I love that old school R&B is not just a concept for XG, they embrace it, pay homage to it, and embody the culture and music. You can drop this song in the 90s and it would fit in perfectly

It’s always amazing to me to watch how fast people fall for this group. I get it, I do: I went through it, too. It’s still joyfully bewildering to experience it vicariously.
I love it. Been here since debut day, so it's a gradual ride for me. But I love how people react to one scene and then compulsively get in sucked into the whole discography.
THIS is why XG is simply amazing. Like what girl group on the planet is doing what XG is doing at the level they are doing it? No one. Period. They literally can do anything. This group of 7 young women of XG are IT. This is perfect old skool R&B 90s/early 2000s & even some 80s with the fade out. How XG is still isnt one the biggest names & groups on the planet yet is a travesty IMO. The world needs to wake the f up on XG for real.
The power of Chisa and Juria duo is just insane, melting like butter hearing this chorus. Cried listening this Christmas masterpiece, every single second of this song is worth it. Take a note, this group will conquer the world, I don't have enough words to describe XG, they just surpass themselves with each song released. I love XG to death
Bro, also give some love to my girl Hinata, she is also part of the vocal line, for me her voice is a solid base on which the other two can create those beautiful harmonies that you are hearing, I know that it is all a matter of taste but you have to give credit where it's deserved

Don't get me wrong, I wrote just Chisa and Juria cause they sold me this song in the very beginning and connected immediately my memories with others XG songs (mostly chorus and bridges, when they established this duo). But give props to Hinata too! I love how more confortable she is with her english and more lines that she's having. Her harmony in the ending is just perfect (feels like cinnamon to me, a little sweet and conforting taste at the same time). To me, she brings the perfect connection between Chisa and Juria tones, adding balance to the bridges and choruses in XG's ballads and R&B songs. Very proud not only of her, but all 7! They are getting better and better with each passing day!

In the beginning, that’s their planet. If you haven’t watched Puppet Show, the aesthetics of this MV is similar. All 7 are vocalists and it’s insane. I think the word you were looking for is XPOP. That’s their own thing
This made me tear up. It brings back the good times of 00s R&b vibe. Sigh this is so good, what a way to end the year.
While the various groups competed with each other for intense or fast raps, XG, of course, proved to be an intense rapper and even performed groovy raps that were comfortable to listen to, as well as slow poetry raps.
These girls know what R&B is all about.
If you watch the teaser for this video, the scene where they're in those "pods" sitting in front of the screens, you'll hear their parents' voices - it's a good throwback to the movie Interstellar when Matthew McConaughey is reacting to his videos from his families.
The northern lights & the snowscape are referencing Puppet Show MV. The cliff, the last scene spaceship, and the blossom tree are referring to New Dance Official & Multiverse. If you watch those three MVs you will get the call backs. It is better sometimes to just listen to a beautiful song and try not to get caught up by all the references.
Also, the "retro look spaceship console" could reference Left Right, and Cocona's hairstyle in that part looks like in Tape#2. Easter eggs for X-Mas. But you can really just enjoy it on its own.
The beginning scene was a homage to Love Letter (1995 Japanese movie).

1:10 it's a homage to the the classic japanese movie "Love Letter (1995)", that was a huge success throughout East Asia.
The original line is 「お元気ですか？私は元気です 」 which roughly translates to "How are you? I'm fine."
It's also a tribute to the most famous scene in the film, which the main character yells to the mountains where was her deceased husband. His body was left on the snowy mountain, so she was unable to say goodbye to him.

The beginning of the video is a reenactment of a scene from "The Love Letter" back in 1995. All their music is from that year...the best year of my life and all XG has done is being that year back to me... especially this song. When your soulmate is called Home by God this song hits different. I haven't stopped weeping and wishing she opens the front door one more time...even for a fraction of a second. That's my Christmas wish.

Chisa shouting in the beginning is an homage to a Japanese movie called "Love Letter." In a scene the female lead shouts out in Japanese something to the effect of How are you doing and I am doing well or fine. So you hit it on the head. Good observation skills bro. I think they used it because in XG's case they are speaking to their loved ones (parents, siblings, etc.). My interpretation, not based on any facts. It is truly a great music video, with incredible visual effects and vocals.
the almost to the end clip which was the trailer was actually a video message from their parents, hence you can see them tears in their eyes..i literally teared when I saw this video..the vocals thrusted my ears so sharp that i can feel the tone of their voices meaning ever single word. Truly build different, hit different, new breed!

And Juria! If I have to say XG's weakness is only their live vocal. But Juria is mostly stable and amazing live. Chisa and Maya, they're also good in those I heard. Hinata, to be honest I think she can do better for live.
I wonder if you saw the showcase in Japan, there you can clearly hear the live voices of all of them during the intro with X-Gene

I meant to say if I have to say, but tbh it's hard to find XG weakness... in which I refer to several mr removed video that I heard but also understandable with how hard they goes for dancing
