I have had the great pleasure of recording and working with this guy in Colorado! He told me the story about his dad wrote their one hit “Don’t Fall in Love With Me” after his parents got divorced after they had bought a house in New York. That’s just one of many stories he told me from times we hung out outside the studio. An even more of a double whammy was that it took place in my first 2 years of undergrad! I hope to cross paths with him again in the future. Keep making great music Spencer (aka Prancer)!😊

Spencer sounds so much like Robin when he sings & that is a good thing cause Robin had such a unique beautiful voice. Spencer looks a lot like his father too especially around his eyes, that’s a good thing too, Robin has sexy soulful eyes & so does Spencer. I hope for you a wonderful, long healthy life Spencer & for you to have many good memories of your Dad & childhood. I have listened to your music before & I enjoyed it very much. I am so gld to see this. I have so often wondered what Robin was like as a person in his everyday world, also as a parent. Much as I love all the brothers, Robin is my top favorite, his quirky sense of humor, his very unique voice, and talent galore.
Thanks for uploading this! I've never gotten to hear Spencer talk about his relationship with his father before! I thought it was very interesting!
I think his eccentricity is what draws me to him most of all, Robin was a twin but he was also one of a kind, and I think Mo would agree with me.

Yes, Spencer is very talented. And I love that his music is his OWN sound and nothing like The BeeGees or even anything like Robins music! Much more raw, and seems drawn from personal experiences? 'Avenue F' and 'Empty Room', along with 'Dirty Little Secret' are some favorites of mine from Spencer.💜

It would have been easier if I didn't have to separate 2 different languages in order to hear the story. But I like to find out about these great musicians and their family and friends and how they feel and think about things.
I know. Good video, but it was hard to understand.
What was difficult about reading English? The documentary was recorded for a German audience. If you are not fluent in either German or English, I guess it would be a problem but one can't expect subtitles in all possible languages.
@beeharbour the languages ran overtop of each other and the subtitles went fast and sometimes didn't line up with. You know what? I'm tired of people attacking me about every single comment I make. I'm not reading replies anymore

Robin musste schmerzlich Erfahren was eine Scheidung bedeutet hat , hatte nicht so viel kontakt mit seinen kindern , spaeter konnte er seine vater sein ausleben, spencer hat seine Verbindung mit seinem vater über die Musik, das ist sehr schön.
Hätte der gute Robin die Flossen von den Drogen gelassen , wären die kinder wohl auch in seiner Obhut gewesen. Das Familiengericht fällte dieses Urteil und nicht Molly

@@bgs3006 it drove me nuts for a couple hours last night and around 1130pm I figured it out. And it goes well to what Spencer was talking about it when him and Robin lived so far apart. I’ll have to go out and see if Robin wrote it.

It's a German language documentary. It was kind of the uploader to post it and extremely easy to follow what was being said.
@@beeharbour As you call it into the forest, it comes back. Not in this tone. I don't take orders. The video has fixed English subtitles, which took a lot of effort for me as a German. You can't follow? Correct. It is up to the uploader to make the content of the video understandable to the user. But you have to read it yourself. I can't do that for you.
