    Speeduino can control vvt fully closed loop, latest firmware made huge strides. Just modify the cam signal to only have a single signal per 720 crank degrees. Or screw in a cherry hall sensor in the cover to point on top of a cam lobe

      I installed the new firmware last night! Great to see full closed loop control, as well as boost by gear.

    Great job mate!!! I want to upgrade my t4 and your videos is very helpful!!! I want to tell me which fuel pump you use and which injectors... Keep going the great job 👍

      The fuel pump I use is an APS 340LPH (GSS342). This can be bought from JJC found on ebay. Injectors are 875cc Siemens DEKA. You wouldn't be able to fit the injectors without a tune or standalone installed.

    Nice video, got to be a nosey git though and ask what was pixelated out in the engine bay?

      It's the fuel pressure regulator! Because of various holdups and delays etc, a lot of the filming was completely out of sequence and the FPR was already installed before it should have been :)

    I’ve got a great question for you, if I wanted to delete the vvt system on my 04 s60 2.4 (only has an intake vvt pulley) would i theoretically be able to use another exhaust pulley from a 2.4 to get rid of the vvt pulley and go back to more basic timing setup? Just not a fan of the vvt system and would like to know the only reason my timing would change would be done by me (not looking for power just want a consistent reaction from my motor)

      No you wouldn't I'm afraid. Assuming it's similar to the 4 cylinder, the end of the cam that receives the pulley is completely different and therefore the pulley is not interchangeable.

    how is a vvt wheel built to remove the original one

    • @AndyPonting
      @AndyPonting  2 года назад +1

      The VVT delete wheel is just something made on a lathe (by someone else, but quite simple really). Having taken the VVT wheel apart now, there's no reason to remove it if you just want to "delete" VVT. Just pull the plug off the solenoid.

    Hey is this a t4?

    • @AndyPonting
      @AndyPonting  2 года назад

      Technically the car started life as a 2.0T. It's currently got a phase 2 T4 engine in it
