Don’t forget that like button😊
That looks like proper Clotted cream to me, 👍🏻 nice to see you're serving it correctly too #JamFirst
Hey Amber, thanks for watching.Love the hashtag 🤣
We first had rich tea biscuits with cheese course on QM2 in 2019. Now we can’t have a cheese course without them. So delicious together!!
I just wasn’t sold 🤷♀️ although they did taste good with the cheddar I will say lol
Oh my goodness - I'm so amazed that you're able to get content uploaded while you're actually on the ship - well done! Afternoon Tea looked excellent, but I'm really not convinced with the new Queens Room - it seems like a new build, and doesn't really feel like Cunard in my opinion...
Hey Fraser thanks for watching as always. I like the room but yes does not compare to Mary and is little bit of walk through!
Thanks for bringing back lovely memories of our voyage on Queen Elizabeth, never thought I would care for afternoon tea but we loved it!👍
Thank you for watching 😊
Wonder if someone tested positive for covid and that was the protocol for dealing with contaminants?
Possibly just very strange half way through service 🤷♂️
Very traditional! Looks delicious. Good work 4B’s. Thanks for sharing 👍
Thanks for watching James
Charming! A delightful journey through afternoon tea and formal night!
Thank-you for watching and your kind words
@@cruisingwiththe4bs 🥰🥰🥰
It reminds me of what cruising used to be, love the formal nights.
Thanks for watching and commenting Gary
Who is the fourth member of the Bevis String Trio? 😀
It was me 🤣 thanks for watching
I can see myself in this video.😀 Greetings from Germany and it was a fantastic maiden voyage.
Greetings from the south coast of England. It really was a fantastic maiden missing it already. Thanks for watching
Thanks for the video. Interesting “string quartet” with 3 people. At least one of you - Rachel - knows that cream first is correct. Did you see any shows in Bright Lights? 49 days and counting….
🤣🤣 I have just been informed of my error by rach aplogies ( I was the secret 4th member). We are off to bright lights shortly will report back. Thanks for watching
Great video..nice to see that the afternoon tea and gala night traditions have not changed, even though the settings in Queen Anne are so modern and new. Did you feel the Queen's room was large enough to fit all who were interested in afternoon tea? Enjoy the rest of your cruise!
Hi thanks for watching and your kind words. We arrived an hour early and chilled all tables pretty much gone 30 minutes before although it was first sea day. Service was exceptional though. It’s a large room but go at least 45 minutes early I would say.
Thanks for the video. I am very jealous.
Thanks for watching Carol
Did they have glugose free options at the tea?
Hi thanks for watching. Every time we sat for food we were always if we had any allergies etc. I would speak to them as soon as get on so this can facilitated.
Great video! The afternoon tea looks great, although the Queens Room is probably our least favourite Queens Room in the Cunard fleet!
Morning Gents. Thanks as always for watching and commenting. Yes it didn’t compete with QM2 but over time I think it will get its own identy.
Your footage is amazing! What equipment do you use? Never seen such perfectly cut sandwiches! The ship looks absolutely beautiful, and love the string Quartet 😍 We would love to try Cunard, but we are a little bit worried it might be a bit too posh for us peasants haha! 😂 Jam, then cream! Everyone else is wrong…🤣
Hey, thank-you watching and your kind words! Two we use cannon G7x plus iPhone 15, we find the difference in past few years has been investing in a good gimbal. Definitely think you should try Cunard we didn’t find it to posh just a few evenings you need to find that bow tie and posh frock…
No appetizers on that Brittania Restaurant Dinner Menu? Cunard/Carnival cutting costs?
Sadly not, thanks for watching
Jam first, always.❤
@@Jenpen9345 thanks for watching
What a privilege to be onboard for the first voyage. Thats a lot of tea! The sandwiches and cakes look amazing. Formal night and the food looks lovely. No idea on the masks and cleaning? (Someone had a Covid test for desert???). Looks like you're having a blast. Cheers 🍻
Thank-you as always for watching, it is amazing to be first onboard. Think you’re right on Covid or sick. As always…cheers
Was it very difficult to find a seat?
We arrived an hour before, 30 minutes before all gone. Alternative afternoon tea in carinthia and buffet. Thanks for watching
Loving the jacket Tom, very swish!
Afternoon tea looks fabulous and I have gone for the Duo of Beef too!
I wonder if someone had been sick and that’s why there was the clean up team out there. If so I hope they’re ok.
Hey as always thanks for watching. Thank-you so much on jacket, rach finds these jackets. Trio of beef was gooood. Yes we think it must of been that, I thought I had to much to drink and was seeing things
We're booked on Queen Anne for September - does anyone know if they can offer a gluten-free afternoon tea?
@@wendydee3007 hi thanks for watching Wendy. I am unsure on this hope others can help. My experience of talking with others that require gluten free, ships are excellent now including Cunard I am sure this can be accommodated speak to them when you get on and let us know.
It's only a string trio! I have sailed exclusively on Cunard and the reduction from a string quartet to a trio is particularly disappointing but Cunard has done this on all 4 ships. Of note, that cellist's playing position is quite awful. No true professional cellist plays with knees behind the cello. She should have trousers or a fuller skirt!
Thanks for watching and commenting
So traditional
Thanks for watching
Ship's internet BLOCKS Google Docs, Google Sheets, all VPNs, Microsoft Outlook, Google Maps and many other productivity sites. Unless you're retired or won the lottery, DO NOT step foot on this ship if you have a real job and need to do any work whatsoever.
Hi thanks for watching and commenting. We found the internet to be excellent although to be fair we did not try and access the sites mentioned.
String trio
Indeed, thanks for watching
Only 75% of string quartet.
Yes it was a string trio we just wanted to see how long people watched for 🤷♀️😉 thanks for watching
@@cruisingwiththe4bsWe were on the maiden voyage, loved the sail away from Southampton.
@@colingriffiths6064 hope you enjoyed your stay onboard as much as we did ☺️
Beautiful ship, not quite as large as QM2 but every bit as luxurious.Highlight, the beautiful voice of Russell Watson.
@@colingriffiths6064 we loved watching Russell Watson, and also Noir was so fantastic we went twice 😊
Not milk in first? Oh no! Or is thar cream. Ugh!
Thanks for watching, yes should of gone milk first will correct next time
Jam first! But you should have had the scones before the cakes.
Hi Susan, thanks for watching. Yeah to be fair that would of been right way round but cakes arrived first
My Grandmother always said that people who are truly sophisticated, are never worried about what other people think. They just relax and do what they want, without impinging on other people. So I guess it's perfectly okay to eat food in any order, and just smile and be confident, and enjoy your life without getting upset about jam versus cream, or cakes versus scones. It really isn't important :o)
@@wendydee3007 wise grandmother
Cream first, thank you.
Will don next time. Thanks for watching
Where there any vegetarian sandwich options?
When I've sailed with Cunard, the only vegetarian/vegan sandwiches I seen were cucumber. Luckily, I like cucumber sandwiches. If you were to ask the waiters, they would probably get something else.
Omg cucumber sandwich and that's it. I hope its changed as that's not on. Surely they can stretch to cheese or egg !
@@souixe1129 I've found that on Cunard they will often make you something if you ask them.
There was also just cheese and pickle
You can see which part of the body your excessive afternoon tea went to
Indeed we enjoyed every bite! Thanks for watching
I can’t believe what I’m reading. How can you be so rude and obnoxious!!!! Scroll on by if it makes you jealous and can’t bear people having a good time.
@@carolr9301 thank you Carol 🙂 unfortunately there will always be keyboard warriors who then don’t reply to responses!! Very rude and uncalled for 🤷♀️
@Peterrabbit915 At least they have good manners and kindness. Unlike yourself - with such an arrogant and judgemental attitude.
@@wendydee3007 thank-you Wendy much appreciated
Thanks for the video. Absolutely not impressed with what I get to see from the new Queen Anne. Rather mediocre really.
Envy in plain sight
@@rhaselgrove Excuse me? I am talking about the new SHIP and it's simply not very impressive! I guess I am entitled to my own opinion.
Thanks for watching. Will give it the full week to judge
How can you judge a ship by an 8.45 minute video mainly about the food.
More of the food and less of the open mouths
Thanks for the feedback, maybe watch tonight’s it’s mainly food!
