- Welcome to our second day aboard Cunard Queen Victoria! Today, we are at the port of Le Havre, our third visit to this port but our first time getting off.
After a wonder around Le Havre, we returned to the ship just in time for Cunard's renowned afternoon tea. Indulging in delectable treats and sipping on fine teas, we experienced the epitome of luxury and elegance.
As the day unfolded, we found ourselves in the soothing embrace of the ship's spa, luxuriating in the thermal area - after all, with a full cruise pass we would be silly not to make the most of it!
For dinner, we once again made our way to the opulent Britannia Restaurant, where the exquisite ambiance and delicious cuisine continued to surpass our expectations.

Ohh, that is great to hear! Granted, it is much more formal than some other cruise lines, but we loved it and it isn't as formal as it is made out to be :)

I always find Le Havre a funny one - with those enormous ships in, you'd think it should be pretty busy (even with that minging weather). However, the day I was there (on Virtuosa last time) it was equally as quiet - so strange!
Yeah - wonder if most just stay on the ships or head elsewhere, we have had lots saying to take trips to Honfleur?!

Great video again, giving serious thought to doing the Cunard festive cruise. Having a box at the theatre is so boujee, I absolutely love it! Also I’ve heard that if you set your iPhone to film at 25fps you don’t get LED light flicker.

I really like Le Havre there last October, when we were on Brittannia. I walked all the way from the ship to the Railway Station and Back. Yes I am a Trainspotter I’m afraid.

Great update guys and the lamb and cheese looked ace, regarding the cheese it's just reminded me when we were on the canal boat and I got some really stinky Camembert and my good lady wife took it out of the fridge and made me put it outside on the cratch. Looking forward to the next one chaps. 👍

Hahaha, we love a baked Camembert but usually buy from the supermarket the day we'll eat it as it will stick the kitchen out otherwise!

could you tell us where to find the best deals for cruising , we been looking on skys cruise 1st channel , which seem good , have you heard of cruise nation. we not sure if to book anything on these sites or better goin direct to the cruise line it self . we are new to all this ❤
@dawngresswell travel agents are usually cheaper than booking direct, though they do normally want paying a bit earlier as this makes sure they have the money so they can pay the cruise line. We used cruise nation for our celebrity beyond cruise as they were the cheapest. If it’s your first, finding a good travel agent is good as they can help you, we use Martin from the travel village theholidayvillage.com/martin.phtml for most of our recent cruises. Tell him we sent you!

I was in Le Havre in October on the Island Princess. I walked from the cruise terminal into the town centre, & it took about 20 minutes each way. The day I was there it was overcast with showers. I saw all the sights you showed on your video.

We stopped at Le Havre in October. We had a Quick Look round and then got bus over to Honfleur. That’s a beautiful place. So next time you should go there.
So many people have told us to try Honfleur, so that is definitely on the cards for next time!
We booked with Bee Le Havre. You have to book in advance. It’s a lovely little place to walk around, glass of wine by the harbour. Also have a ride on the carousel 😂
Great video! Did you find the Winter Gardens was quite often near-empty? We were on in July and we often had the place virtually to ourselves in the evening, but it was our favourite place!
Yes, it was always quiet when we went, felt sorry for the singer some night! Was a bit busier when football was on.
Last Oct on Euribia. Walked to beach, St Joseph's Church and decent meal in micro brewery L'etable. Didn't fancy the expensive long haul to Paris 😂

Hi guys. My husband and I and his parents are booked on Queen Victoria in November this year. How formal is the dress code throughout the day would you say? I'm not one for dressing up so much and the throughout of wearing a suit and tie isn't appealing. So smart casual? Is the buffet option less formal on an evening? Loving the vlogs guys.
During the day you can wear what you like, I mean it wouldn’t be acceptable to wear swim shorts to the main dining room as is the case with all cruise lines.
Evening it’s only required for you to wear shirt and jeans/chinos now, unless of course it’s black tie night where a suit/tux would be expected, but if that’s not your thing you could eat at the buffet and stay up on the lido deck.

How do you get a box at the theatre? Can you book? Are they only for certain cabins?
You just pop to reception to book them, anyone can book them but obviously the number of boxes are limited. Best to book on boarding day but you can book later in the cruise too. It’s only for production shows, If the theatre is showing a comedian, film or other such entertainment the boxes are complimentary and available on a "first come first served" basis.
