Yess the mountain man i said before you are to drink that tea not throw it all over 😂 class mate that lord seat was a nice rewarding trig for you there marra and the weather yes it's been brilliant lately well done again on showing these off and the horse you mentioned ive still got that to do and it looks a good yomp around it from that view nice one mate love it
aye you will love kentmere, its an easy path just a big day out.. maybe worth a wild camp half way to break it up but ya deffo need to get there early and ideally not a weekend if ya dont want any stress... cheers ol boy, tek care :)
Good couple of routes Marra. I have to go back to bag Green Quarter Fell as I forgot it when we were up there. You did right not bothering with Skeggles Water too: it’s a bog-fest! Don’t bother with Birch Fell either, unless you become obsessed with Birketts, which I don’t advise!
aye i did something similar on Caer Mote.. I missed St Johns Hill which is a larl hill next to Caer.. Luckily its close to home.. skeggles looks quite a flat area so it must catch a lot of water with no where to dump it so id imagine it wouldn't be pleasant.. thanks for watching, tek care :)
Ey up Marra, superb mate, when the weather is like that there is no better place to be. The Kentmere Horseshoe looked superb from Hollow Moor. That was a mega cairn on Whitbarrow. The top of the scar has got very similar characteristics of the top of Farleton Fell. That’s a good one to do. Looking forward to Black Combe. I’ve been wanting to do that for years so will be nice to get up there. I’m back up in the Lakes on Friday as the weather is nice. Going to tick off Whiteside and Hopegill Head. Not decided yet on my decent route yet, but thing it might be down Gasgale Gill. I love it down there. All the best mate
oh really, thats my fave route al maybe join yas, you alone?.. best route is, whiteside, hopegill, grasmoor, wandope, whiteless pike, rannerdale knotts loop back to car.. dunno how many of them ya need but a relatively easy 7 there :)
@@daveostlemountainman Yes mate, just me, myself and I! You’re more than welcome to join me. Do you know what, I might do that. I’ve done the others but in a reverse route to that you said, but it was all clagged in so saw feck all.
aye i just think the parking is an easy fix and mek t'old farmer a few quid too.. I planned on doin another Munro but I get homesick sadly especially when ya on ya own, ya mind starts playing tricks so i drove 400 miles to do these haha... cheers, tek care :)
@@susanmarsh1128 aye there was room for a couple more along there if they squashed up a bit but ya never know who was the first there to start it.. cheers for watching, tek care 🙂

@@CribGoch39 I couldnt enjoy it, it was just so bloomin hot with no shade.. lots of places to explore up there aye.. cheers 🙂

cheers lad :)
Nice area. Rather a contrast to the munro. Aye, parking at Kentmere was hit and miss 30 years ago - bound to be worse now. Good walks those though.

Anotrher great video. Also helps when you have good weather. You cant have many Outlyers left to do now?
@@gm4wha aye 26 left broken down into 6 more walks.. then I'll be free to live my life again Haha.. cheers, tek care 🙂
Dave just bought a gopro10 how many batteries do you use, do you take spares
i usually get by on 2 batteries per walk but in winter i take 4 because the cold weather shreds them quickly
Parking there is a total nightmare and it doesn't help when you get selfish gits taking up two spaces, as seen at the start of your video 🤬
