Ludinus really needs to see a bit more of Aeor (especially the Cognouza Ward) and Avalir's Ring of Gold (which would have been impossible uness fourth walls would break). He has a rather rose-tinted look on the Age of Arcanum and its mages, forgetting about the unchecked hubris, greed and depravity of so many of its most influential figures and that it was this hubris that allowed for Calamity to happen.
I would bet he believes that Vespin Chloras did nothing wrong and that his role in starting Calamity is just propaganda, and that Vecna was a brilliant archmage and inventor.

Can we please give a ‘hell yeah!’ For how sick that Laudna/Delilah mini was?!

Manifesting that next episode will be Delilah’s permanent defeat, and Laudna will finally be free of her. And that, in the end, she and Imogen won’t have to miss their little cottage, and the married life it will bring.
    Crossing my fingers…🤞🤞💍 💜🖤
One thing’s for sure: after all of this, I can’t imagine Ludinus will be getting out of this conflict alive. Any and all thoughts of not murking his ass were probably thrown out the window the moment he tossed that stone at Laudna to entice Delilah out. After what he pulled before dipping out, and what it forced upon Laudna and her comrades…
When they recover their strength and go back after him, I can only imagine they’re gonna do so carrying with them the rage of what his actions very nearly costed them.
    What it nearly costed Laudna.

Here's my question what level are bells hells going to go up to. Ludinus is probably a level 20 wizard I wouldn't be surprised if he was like Vecna and was beyond the regular mortal. I would put Ludinus at a level 17 threat at least I get the feeling in the boss fight with Ludinus he might get a new form or something. Then prodathos is probably a level 20 threat I think all 3 parties might need to have to fight prodathos. With all there members so people like Tary Essek and Kingsly would be there. I don't think bell's hells is going to be able to pull a end campaign of level 15 like campaign 2 the enemies are just to powerful for that.

@@GolDRoger-hl1xi I’d imagine lvl 17 is possible they are only lvl 13 I assume they’ll level up after this episode so they’d only need 3 more levels for that and that’s possible within 30 episodes to reach lvl 17 that’s assuming they only do 30 ish more episodes they might do more and reach level 18-19

Their reactions to the visions and Ludinus talking with the group was just a let down.
To be clear no matter what Ludinus said I truly believe that CR wouldn't side with Ludinus even if most agreed or couldn't find reason to disagree with him.
They didn't even try to connect with what he showed and just try to push through with their own beliefs.
Nearly all of them stated that the gods we extremely flawed but that is fine, because so are they. That is so stupid in every respect, the big take away of downfall was how the gods picked their family over mortal life.
None of them talked about the fact the Prime's (the classical good guys) decided not to kill the Betrayer's (the classical evil guys), because family.
Ludinus could have made better points and been more targeting in his methods of convincing the group. Be it in truth or lies near to all of them have some way to persuade them.
Why did the main villain no even try to lie to them or command the pace of the conversation, they walked all over him and nothing was gained from the entire process of downfall.

@@karlstoker04 Luadna literally said she related to how the gods are a fucked up family like themselves she’d do anything for anyone of them at the expense of others they have all killed for each other
They acknowledged what they did was wrong but the first thing imogen says was how Ludinus has a twisted version of the vision in his mind
The players see it for what it is people protecting themselves and their family incredibly relatable
Ludinus sees it as selfish people destroying the progress of mortals for no reason which is wrong they had reason self preservation is a reason
An important thing to remember is if the gods and mortals are similar the betrayers literally tried to kill the prime deities with the god hammer if the gods are willing to do that to themselves so are mortals

@@ZodiacBandit Whilst they acknowledged that the gods are relatable they didn't comment on the death of an entire city,
Or the truce between the gods being not to end the war but to protect themself,
And no mention of the fact the primes choice to not even consider killing the betrayers.
The gods might be relatable but should gods, whom have the strength to kill an entire civilisation of the the most powerful mages, be just like the common man.

@@karlstoker04 No they shouldn’t have that power but neither should mortals and the bells understand that Ludinus doesn’t if Ludinus could have it he would but he can’t so his goal is to wipe them out even if he dies but we all know including the players he’d rather have the power to erase the gods and after that then what? there’s a good chance he’d use it on those who revolt against the death of the gods “what will you do when you realize people don’t live you for this” Ashton hit it on the nose with that one

@@ZodiacBandit Ludinus never stated that he wanted the power of the gods himself - although it could be inferred. Ludinus only stated that the gods are not being to be trusted with that power - I truly believe that he would die happy if his plan to kill the gods work even if he doesn't become godly himself.

@@karlstoker04 I’m not saying he wouldn’t I’m saying he’d much rather have the god hammer and that being in his hands would lead down the same road aeor could’ve gone down the one where he holds the power and starts using it on other kingdoms cities or continents we both agree having that power is bad but having it currently in the hands of people how are locked behind a divine gate is much better then the dude trying to mess up the world for his selfish reasons at the moment imogen said that’s what he wants others want the gods who is he to make that choice for others
I think downfall and this conversation between the party and Ludinus has done its job in making a discussion happen
