Very good. In the old days i had a supraphonic. This is the best reproduction i ever heard. Thanx.

    Thank you.
I use a matching snare on my live kit and have been wanting to find a way to mimic it on my module.
Excellent, I’ve always been a fan of the classic st anger snare everyone hates but I love it. Same with old slamming death metal.

I like this. I think next time in the studio I'm going to sample some of my real snares, including a acrolite to use as a sub instrument in my td50x.

This is badass! Love the EQ as well! Would be super interested in how you EQ toms and hi-hat! Hi-hat sounds on this module giving me fits. Thank you for the secrets!

Thanks. Hi-hats might be the next item I tackle I think, seems no one likes the td 17 hh sounds.

Yes! Love the ride cymbal you did! It’s the best one I have heard and I’ve purchased a few extensions. You are the only one who using buttering things up with a bunch of ambiance and multi effects. And teaching us how to do it on the module. This should be the focus. Thank you!

The beauty in edrums is that you can find any tuning or song that you want or can think of. You just have to know how and spend the time it takes to find it.

Yes and, in most cases, if you look hard enough you don't have to spend a dime to do it.

Thanks, I've been struggling to get the snare sounding any good at all. Now I have a better understanding of what I need to change. Why do the stock drums on the TD17 sound so bad??

Good question. My guess is its like legos, the blocks aren't much fun by themselves, but if you put them together with other legos, you get something you can play with. Just wish Roland would put out a recipe book so we don't have to struggle so much.

What happens when you use a tom as sub? Will you get that boxy 80s sound?

How do you copy pad settings from one kit to another?

I don't think that's possible, I don't know of a way. If you find it let me know.

You mentioned you would post your rimshot settings to compliment this. Any progress towards that? Looking forward to completing this sound.
