Oh awesome!!!! I love the fact you can upload your own audio!!! I have a Roland TD-07 module I upgraded my cheapo Alesis Nitro Meah kit with , and I am gradually working my way up to having more Roland pads, so far I have a 2 zone Roland 8” Tom of for my snare, and a Roland CY-12 crash ride ( the single 1/4” input version , I want tk get a CR-13” with the 3-zones, and a actual stand mounted 11” Roland Hihat and try e Td-17 module and maybe a Roland kick drum pad eventually if not the whole kit, but I’m poor so it’s one part at a time) I tell ya… upgraded that little Nitro Mesh kit from its original brain to the Roland TD-07 made that little $200 used mesh head beginner ekit… actually magically turn into a Musical Instrument that feels and plays so so so so sooooo much better and feels so much more like thag real thing! ( not trying to bash Alesis, but they don’t hold a candle as far as the response and wmmmrealism and feel… I couldn’t even really play the alesis module like I can play drums , but the Roland module made it work and feel and react so much more like the real thing! It came tk life with the Td-07!)
I have a td07 and got the cr-13 cymbal so I had the Bell option but you have to plug your crash 2 cymbal into the bell connection therefore loosing your crash cymbal im buying the td17 fancy the upgrade unfortunately don't have a computer or laptop to download more kits or make loops
Just did it yesterday. Had a hard time figuring out why my cymbals were not sounding correctly. I had the volume turned up all the way but still they weren't right. A little googling and found the solution, sensitivity. Brought my cymbals back to life. Although one of Mt crash cymbals choke stopped working. Have a new one coming tomorrow. They don't sell the original cy-12c anymore. Instead it's the cy-12c-t, a thinner design.
Hey Cat, great demo. I am new to drums (that is haven't played for 54 years) but back now. I have an expanded version of the Roland TD17K. I really like your groove!! By chance do you have the score for this groove?😃
Speaking of loops-is there any how to video out there?Created some loops in FL Studio to trigger while playing our songs on acustic kit but it only plays the 1st note of it when hit the pad(plays all the way through when hit review on module)It supposed to be WAV right?what am I missing?
Couldn't get a hi hat or cymbal sounds as good as this when I demo'd a TD 17 the other day. The maker's of electronic drums still haven't got hat's and cymbals right on their products 🤷.
@needmorereps4527 I find most of the presets aren't great. But you can very easily make a custom snare on this kit using one of the standard snares and playing around with the muffling, strain etc.
@@therager4401 Thanks for the tip! Yes, I got 4 excellent kits for £10 - A good start while I get to grips with my kit - I am very disappointed with the supplied kits. I didn't find a snare that I liked, and the levels are all over the place, especially the rides were often very quiet.
At the time whengta 5 released, I didn't know my wife who I've been together with for 9 years and now divorced. Just release this next gta already gsus how long does it take 😅
03:00 this is also useful to do some kind of virtual soundcheck of the kit and tweak the sounds without having the kit to be played at the same time
Thanks, bro.

Great video thank you !
Some cool tips. Personally, we got the acoustic pack from drumtec and it is a game changer too. 🥰
Awesome!
Great vid thanks 👍 reminds me i really need to upgrade to the new 2.0 module version
It seems to be quite simple to update. they have a tutorial on this channel

How do you install the downloaded kits to the module?
There's an import button on one of the screens I believe
thanks
Thanks for a great video. I can't decide between this and the Yamaha DTX6...
TD 17 hands down over Yamaha!
Why is the snare so quiet, but the other pads are a lot louder?

I have the TD-17KV and I do not have that high-hat setup. What do I need to get to have that setup? Thanks!
You need to buy a vh10 hi hat (I think) and then put it on a hi hat stand of your choice. Not cheap!
You also need to select that new cymbal in the settings
how do you download the custom kit
It would be awesome if the memory wasn’t full so quickly! I couldn’t install all the artists kits because of that.
yeah, I detest Roland for that, to limit it artificially, WTH

That snare sound ugly on the first preset

Try the edrum workshop kits, pretty cheap and the sounds are so much superior!!
@needmorereps4527 probably still letter than my alesis sounds 😢
@needmorereps4527 oh poor baby

Not sure why I would want other peoples sounds
Really 🙄
She is soooooo cute! A wee bit too young, though. Sigh.
Vajay-jays have no age limit 😂😮😊
