Profiles: Jetro Rafael

Jetro opened his home, art space, and restaurant, Van Gogh Is Bipolar, to the public in 2009, offering what he calls "happy food." The name is a tribute to the painter believed to have had a life-long battle with depression and mental illness.
Eventually, it became a sanctuary for others too, for self-expression and celebrating life. We take inspiration from Jetro’s journey of healing and its evolution into a masterpiece of magic and inspiration for others.
