Embraer has created a company called EVE solely dedicated to the development of its new family member. As the video very well shows, they go beyond the craft, they are developing a whole flying system, a flying protocol to be adopted by flight control authorities around the world. Embraer has already concluded the Operations Concept for the integration of the air space of the Urban Air Mobility (UAM) United Kingdom. So, it is a whole system to manage the air traffic which surely will be extremely busy in large cities in the near future.
With a service ceiling of 1000 m the VTOL craft would only be useful in coastal metropolitan areas. They wouldn't even be able to take off in locations such as Denver, Colorado or Cheyenne, Wyoming, nor even Phoenix, Arizona, on a hot day.
This is mostly an animation. From my understanding, this aircraft hasn't flown yet. Some of these "innovators" have yet to publicly demonstrate vertical-horizontal transition. Some haven't proved they can safely hover, then have enough charge left to fly off the helipad. So far, I have not even seen video of Eve demonstrating hover. Check out Joby if you really want to see this technology work.
Really has little information about eve, but recently Embraer announced the construction of a factory in Taubaté - São Paulo. The first eves are expected to go on sale in 2026
Fraud? Eve is a startup by Embraer, the largest manufacturer of medium-sized civil aircraft in the world, the third largest globally, producing both civilian and military aircraft, with an average annual revenue of 21 billion dollars. Do you really think it smells like fraud? 😂

So it's simply just a pilotless, electric helicopter with the option of a pilot, and that flies at 1000 feet.

The Eve 100 underwent regulation today by Brazil's national civil aviation agency.
