    Thanks for sharing. I'm planning a sunrise of Toronto using mavic 3. Hoping that I won't be disappointed. Your hyperlapses on the tripod are incredible! What camera are you using?

    I live in the forest so daily I fly straight up 200' and sit still for 15 or so minutes taking a video. If I do a hyper lapse what best to set the minutes? I very much love your videos. Thank you

    Thanks, another great video. Can I ask though, I struggle with PRO settings at sunset. By the time the sun sets, my exposure settings are always too dark. Do you ever shoot AUTO or always PRO and how do you achieve a great hyperlapse without the image being under exposed at completion? Thanks R

      He must be using aperture priority auto and an nd filter to get shutterspeed of 1/8.

    Great tutorial. I have been doing drone timelapses for a while and love to make them. One of the biggest challenges is the "wobble" of buildings or things in the foreground. It kind of looks like the buildings are breathing. Your stabilization worked a bit but you can still see the "wobble." Do you know if there is a program to use to completely eliminate this? Or is this something that we will have to deal with as drone timelapse shooters? Thank you.

      If ur using premiere pro just add stabilizer and its its a very good stabilizer

    I do appreciate the flight times of MaVIC 3, a bit longer than my Evo 2 Pro, but your right, with sunsets we only get one chance a day! Then tweak a little, try again! Thanks Vic. My challenge is always ground vs sky exposure differences. I've tried subtle setting changes during capture as the scene darkens but it usually looks too obvious.

      In a few hours I will publish a video about sunset hyperlapses with exposure ramping.
      It is true that a perfect stitching is almost impossible, but quite good results can be obtained. Definitely worth trying it.
      It is also true that the dynamic range between sky and ground element is often extremely high, especially when shooting against the sun

    I discovered I could timelapse even without the drone flying. It caused me to consider the possibility of capturing longer hyper lapses by landing at a higher location, and then powering back up to return the drone. Obviously one would have to consider how to retrieve the drone if the return became impossible for some reason.

    what's with the moon composite at 1:25? looks strange.

    • @VICVideopIC
      @VICVideopIC  2 года назад

      HI,
      you are right. I did that composite as a joke for a short movie about Malta with a comment saying that at times it is possible to go too far in post-processing.
      The movement of the moon is obviously too fast compared to the sunset.
      But I sort of like that clip and I decided to use it again for this video

    Sarebbe bello se DJ, in un prossimo firmware, aggiungerebbe alla modalità hyperlapse l'opzione di tracciare / seguire, o in modalità traccia consentire l'abilitazione di foto sequenziali (solo scatto singolo accettato) in mavic 2 pro. c'è una di queste opzioni in mavic 3?
    In questo timelapse (che non era molto buono :( ), ho usato l'applicazione Litchi, nonostante abbia delle limitazioni (e alcuni bug), permette di fare scatti in sequenza in modalità Follow. ruclips.net/video/ZOV4__mTkZU/видео.html

      @VICVideopIC  2 года назад +1

      Ciao Bruno,
      e un'ottima idea, ma purtroppo le foto sequenziali non funzionano in modalita focus track, almeno con il Mavic 3. Pero si ossono fare scatti singoli
      Interessante il tuo hyperlapse
