    I love how they show 2 competitors outta the 10 on all the events. Great work

      I miss the good old days when each event was shown in its entirety and they each would be 30-45 minutes long.

    This is like the opposite of the Wheel of Pain at the Arnold’s (and Rogue Invitational that one time). Instead of it being impossible to get momentum, the bus gets so much momentum that the rope becomes an obstacle towards the end of the pull.

    This event was the weakest. Wayyyyy too light. Look at how close they all are in 32. Something seconds. 2015 worlds had a perfect pull cause not everyone finished

    To all those complaining that the bus was too light. Yes, it was. However, bus pull tends to be a high risk event for athletes. Achilles and bicep tears are very common. By lowering the weight of the bus, I think it was an honest attempt to protect the athletes. The issue IMO was the momentum of the bus. They should have used something with more resistance. (And also made the course longer)

    • @josephbloxham3992
      @josephbloxham3992 2 месяца назад +1

      How do you increase the resistance of a pull without increasing the weight?😂

    • @james_jeffers_strongman
      @james_jeffers_strongman 2 месяца назад +1

      They removed air out of some of the tires which would increase resistance, but it wasn’t enough. They should have added people inside to make it heavier. It’s no more riskier than stones for the potential of bicep injury’s, Achilles is no more dangerous than the bull pull at rogue which took out Trey. Fact of the matter is that that bus was way to light, when the times are that close it can be human error that potentially costs you 5-7 points is not fair.

      Yes, but more resistance means you have to generate more force to move it.

      Yes, but that effectively increases the weight and the impact on whatever body parts they claim to be worried about. Either you keep it light and "safe" or you don't, I don't really care.

    that bus is way too light for these guys and the momentum of the bus made the event easier as it goes rather then getting harder

    For future events
    1/3 of the athletes shouldn't finish
    1/3 should finish within the time
    1/3 should finish impressively
    Weight was too light needs to be heavier.
