My family and I loooove our 2023 Kia Carnival. It's had all the space and luxury we needed. It makes us feel like we are riding in the lap of luxury for a minivan. We are so grateful to have it.

We bought the prestige today, I got to say it’s super sexy looking in person, never thought I’d ever get one in my life.

amazing what you can get for this price. Blown over. The Drivetrain has been proven solid.. hopefully all the motors and mechanisms are equally as reliable. I think the Koreans are good with software. Slight risk, but the warranty covers a lot.

I ordered my SX Prestige w/Trailer Hitch about 2 months ago. The dealer markup around here in Maryland is about $5K on the Prestige, but found a dealer on the other side of town who would do MSRE no Dealer undercoating/pain protectent for an order. We'll see how much longer it takes. I'm Stoked! Grand Pa gettin' some kewl 19" wheels. This will be my 4th minivan starting with a '90 Caravan, 2000 Windstar, 2004 Freestar (Still Kickin!).

Besides the Hitch and Wiring, I think I get an add on Transmission Cooler with the Trailer Hitch.

Just Received it! Wow, very impressed. That was 10 weeks from order, much better than first estimated 3 to 4 months. First thing the Sales Manager said as he looked at the Sales guy: "You sold it for MSRE". Made me smile! $52.7K out the door incl Maryland 6% Tax, Tags, Delivery. Mentioned, but didn't push the extended warranty which basically brings the entire care up to the Powertrain duration for something like $2K. This sales guy was going for volume and had several awards. He Told me the Orders are serviced first at the factory. Conclusion is the Dealer markup can be sidestepped if you can find a hungry dealer maybe on the wrong side of town and order it. It's officially a 2024 (No Advertised changes from 2023). Will take a couple days for everything to clear and Dealer Prep/trailer hitch install. Did you Realize the Huge 2nd Row Windows Roll down almost all the way? Wow. Never saw that before! Also has an APP, you can remote start (has a timeout ), adjust AC temp, unlock etc. and Locate your car (I actually lost my car once!) that's free for 2 years. Sirus free for 2 months. Stay in Lane Steering Assist in addition to Adaptive Cruise! Maybe catch a movie driving cross country?

@Mark Hall Wow, you got a 2024 model already?! I had seen the 2024 Carnival press release for the pricing changes which I thought was really early for the next model year to come out because that's usually in September. This leads me to believe that they're going to release the rumored Carnival hybrid in the first half of next year as a 2025 model since the 2024 press release didn't mention it.

After experimentation, I'm all in on 93 Octane.. clearly runs smoother, more low end torque.. gets 3 or 3 MPG better w/93. A GDI engine w/ 12.3 to 1 compression ratio wants the good stuff. On 87 the engine was a little bumby.. the power was always searching. Might of stabilized after a number of tanks, but for real 93 is a major improvement and just about pays for itself w/increased mileage. I'm getting 24.5 MPG around my area (Not City) and pushing 26MPG on Higway 70+ cruise control flat.@@SamKhoury

With both Sunroofs open and all 4 side windows down, it's practically a Convertible. No wind buffetting with the layout.

Great overview. This is exact configuration I want, which is SX Prestige trim with 8 seat configuration (i.e. no VIP lounge seats) and no rear entertainment system. I'm disappointed in Kia's exterior color options since ceramic silver is the only gray/silver option on the SX Prestige trim and it's too light for my taste. I'm hoping Kia offers the wolf gray or steel gray option in the 2024 model year.

Yes. Exterior/Upholstery colors are limited. some of those new gray colors are enticing.

Does SX Prestige come with 8 seats? I don't think so. SX prestige only has captains chair in the middle row. The SX (non-prestige) has 3 seats in the middle but no sun roof.

@@karanchhibber1508 you can get SX Prestige with 8 seat configuration but its a package. Test drove one yesterday with this configuration.

Does the SX prestige have removable 2nd row seats as long as you don't get the optional special recliners? Is the trailer hitch a factory option or dealer installed?

I wouldnt mind the base LX model at $32k for the look and uniqueness but wouldnt spend $55k for the Prestige, I'd get something else.👍👍

So is this considered a minivan? It doesn't appear to have the traditional minivan shape. But, it has the minivan sliding doors.
