    It is amazing when you step back after a few weeks and review the year with no emotion in it. Did not realize he made all these plays in this much maligned defense. He was not always out there, too, so even more impressive with the limited snaps. He really looks like a hands in the dirt guy, so with this new defense it will be interesting to see how he continues to develop!

    • @slimsantana8210
      @slimsantana8210 11 месяцев назад +4

      He is way more productive with his hand in the dirt. Also it's been confirmed that we are going to a 4-3 scheme

    • @booser2011
      @booser2011 10 месяцев назад

      Well said. During the season ill be honest, while i knew he was getting limited snaps i thought the production was a lot lower. Watching this made me feel really good about him

      @benjaminbrown3951 6 месяцев назад

      @@slimsantana8210its a nickel league so scheme doesnt really much matter anymore. We didnt have the personnel on the back end and down the battery of our defense. Savage, Alexander, stokes barely played..campbell lost a step. Valentine, Johnson jr. Rookies!! Tackling is up to the players not coaches..but coaches fall because the players dont tackle.

      Agreed, I immediately knew he's going to be a future all pro. He just needs to fine tune his skills and technique. He had a better pass rush qin rate over P. Smith last year.

    Really hope the next DC will utilize Gary and LVN next season. Those two in my eyes are the gem pieces to that defensive front. LVN can line up anywhere on the front. They need to use Gary lining up behind the DT as a MLB to blitz in the front so offenses can’t account for him. BARRY is too predictable. THEY NEED TO USE GARY how they schemed up Zadarious a couple years back! The “Rover”. Joe Barry did not utilized GARY at ALL. Need more exotic looks from the next DC. & I want us to be more aggressive in sending zero blitz. Offenses are not afraid of us at all. We need to be like San Fran! Send some blitz to get the QB off tempo to lost momentum!

      @kenvang02 11 месяцев назад +5

      @@Gloo-packk I’m EXCITED AS HELL lol. Hopefully we finally go back to a 4-3 defense. We need 4 big down linemen’s to eat up blocks while 3 LB flies around. But to be honest I already love that he’s a PRESS coverage DC. NOW I wonder if they will bring back SAVAGE. Jeff plays a lot of cover 1 defense, savage has the speed and range to cover the field. When pettine was in GB savage excelled at his position especially in 2020. He was a damn stud. Me in my opinion savage is much better being a rangy safety blanketing half the field. Allow him to make plays and he will. But we need another safety that can lay the boom! We need some fire🔥 on the defensive side! Safeties that ain’t afraid to lay the BOOM!

  • @dominicramirez7421
    @dominicramirez7421 10 месяцев назад

    He’s a great example of the bench press not being indicative of strength and power. Only put up 17 reps at the combine, which is historically low for the position. However, he’s able to generate a push and the speed and power is evident. If he starts to really figure the edge out and starts forming a consistent rushing plan, watch out. High floor, and even higher ceiling type of player who came on strong at the end of the season.
