Great shooting! I seem to be able to hit the harder birds rather than the easier ones. You’re just class!
Great video dave welcome to ireland hope to see more videos of you shooting here.
we will be back
Another wonderfully done video Dave. That November Irish countryside is alot like what we've got here, always great to be out in it. Textbook shooting on those long crossers, not many of 'em got by your second barrel. Looked like a great team of guns and well done for acknowledging the youngsters and all of the folks that work hard to put on the shoot as you always do. Thanks and best regards of the Christmas Season.
thanks Edward, all the best for the season
What a fantastic shoot that Is Dave and beautiful Country side and the views are amazing.and not to forget you shot some very nice birds as normal lol keep up the vids love watching them fantastic job 👍🏻

I shot cleggan today and ended up on the same pegs as you on the partridge “amazing “
I hope you enjoyed your day👍
As ever David , champion video. Try some of the shoots in the South. Some damn good shoots!
Where in the south?
Nice video mate
thanks Daniel
Nice aerial shots of the estate. I can look out on the upper parts of Cleggan from my own yard. The place must be overrun with pheasant judging by the amount on the roads around it.
they have a few down
I am amazed at the number of birds that exist in the European countries. Your managment is so much better than the US. We also have too many predators. I hunted all day and my dog pointed 2 quail and 1 pheasant. I got the pheasant but had no shot at the quail through the brush. Our daily limit here is only 2 pheasant and 4 quail if you could ever find that many lol. I habe not seen a grouse in 15 years. I did see 4 hawks and a fox today. More predators than prey. Too bad the hawks are protected and the Fox was on posted land. Amazing shooting Dave. I can only aspire to be half as good one day. All the Div. Of Wildlife cares about is deer.
Thanks for your enlightening comments Eliasha
Eliasha Bourne the type of shooting you’re doing in America to the type of driven shooting here is very different. These birds at cleggan are put down and looked after to be shot. We also do a lot of the type of shooting you do (rough shooting) and me and my dad would consider it a successful day if we could get one pheasant after walking all day. It’s down to which you enjoy more and I prefer watching the dog hunt to shoot 1 than wait for them to be driven over your head but make no mistake about it both are the best craic ever
👍 wee bit of Irish hospitality at its best😉
proper👍
Great song at the end of a very sporting day and you can't beat the crack with Irish boys.
thanks Michael
super!
Ireland is a pretty place. The Irish are very cordial and great sense of humor.. I like Ireland
must agree👍
Dave you look fantastic with beard....
thankyou
👍🏼
Very beautiful
thankyou
I wish I could go there once, must be a lovely place, lots of birds, nice long shots, different way of hunting to what we can do.Well done! What size of cartridge do you use for those long shots?
36grm 4
Whipped them again Josey
Whupped again Josey, must be a warter boy and one of Franks buddies to know the meaning😉
Do you use swing through rather than maintained lead method?
bit of both
Good shots, good hunting. I liked your hat, what brand?
thanks its a stetson
What chokes do you use Dave?
3/4 3/4 or full and full
why does he shoot the down barrel first? Maybe is a modified gun?
He can choose on the locking button which one to shoot first.
Great video ever thought about coming to America for a hunt??
keep getting asked by a chap called Kieth Coyle who runs english type pheasant hunts in the states

@@victortamini847 looks great
How do you find all the birds after shooting them?
dogs
Dave Carrie Shooting I wonder how many are not found
Dave I see you shoot bottom barrel first. I was taught top barrel first. Is this just a personal preference?? Great video by the way but no change there!! Merry xmas to you and your family. 🎅🎅🎅🎅🎅
same choke in both so no preference really, all the best Neil and to your family
@@DaveCarrieShooting 👍👍👍👍
Khows how to handle a shotgun , some extreme shots there.......... Flash ba..t. d
ooh i can only just handle the praise off the Hornet👌
@@davecarrie2446 Crap with a rifle though🤣🤣🤣🤣
@@manofkentcatapultsgunsando5069 you know my weak spot, i am on shotgun and slugs next tho
@@DaveCarrieShooting How about a double Rifle in over under configuration. More your Bag i would of thought .....?
@@manofkentcatapultsgunsando5069 next outing is filming in Morroco partridge and wild boar but you have to use shotguns and slugs so that will be easier for me, cannot remember to cycle the bolt on a rifle😂
But did you have a Guinness. Really like your vlogs Dave. NZ shooter.
i did Les but just the one😉
What’s the gun use, pl
Dance Music Electronic miroku MK60 12 gauge
Probably wanted to shoot some of them seagulls after spending time on the cost 😂
very tempted😂
It's Northern Ireland😉
Rab Ross we want our 6 back ahahahah
dave,i really like your shooting videos but i have to correct you on where you are,you are i NORTHERN IRELAND,please dont mistake this for southern ireland its a completely different country and hopefully soon we hope to be out of the eu and have a hard border again
Hard border are you nuts? Who can be bothered with that. Handy drive into the south compared to the checkpoints years ago. Lot more similarities than differences at the end of the day. Wasn't so long ago we were all considered Irish. Still are to everyone else in the world. Including the Royals.
@@dvrn86 great video isn't it buddy. Its just sad about some bell ends in the comment section. Really u just have to stand back and laugh at them 😉
While I enjoy your videos, I wonder what your partners say when , it appears, you shoot their birds from time to time?
If you look more closely most of these birds that appear to be my neighbours have actually been missed by the neighbour and are actually behind the gun line, I would not last long in any team if I was shooting their birds, most of the long stuff are neighbours missed birds.
Thanks for the comments Brad it is much appreciated and a worthy discussion point.

@@DaveCarrieShooting First of all, I really appreciate the opportunity to have a discussion with you. Been a fan for a long time, even before you start producing your own videos. I have shot driven birds in Scotland over the past years, 8 times to be exact. I fully embrace the essence of the British game shooting. While I have hunted different birds all over the world, I appreciate the British shooting most of all. The protocol of the shoot was pounded into my by an arascible Scot, who was quick to point out my American shortcomings. The landscape, the clothing, the people is unrivaled anywhere else. It was all great fun. Anyway, did not mean to offend. "Wiping an eye" is clearly part of the game. Keep the videos coming Dave. I'll be watching. If you need a loader, give me a yell! If you get to Florida, come see me. Brad Grabill
Brad Grabill - thanks Brad and you are correct our shooting sports are amongst “if not” the best in the world unfortunately taken for granted by some of our own country men and now under severe attack from anti shooting groups.
Take care

Another excellent film Dave...enjoyed it and the music....great touch at the end!!!👍
