It's funny, you were told not to break a window and I thought "Ok shouldn't be too hard not to get a pellet into a window." Then a pheasant bounces off the side of the house and I finally understood they meant. Don't put a bird through a window! Crazy hunt. It looked like a load of fun.
Brillant bit of outdoors production there ...fantastic camera angles on those shots, music sync'd up beautifully too ... and then an excellent interview with Paul. What a great way to spend 20 minutes.
Hello John, Cracking video lovely shoot nice atmosphere, I also enjoy all your other videos. I have shot game since I was13 years old I am now 79 years of age and still shoot 12 bores and all gauges down to 410. All the best Mick.
That was absolutely fantastic! Beautifully filmed, (video'd, digitally recorded, cinematographed or whatever the term is nowadays), great shooting. Johnny, you are literally head and shoulders above all the other shooters ( perhaps being nearer to the quarry makes it easier to hit them?!!!) and Paul Childerley. Actually, looking at the two of you reminds me of what I have in common with you both; Johnny, 7 feet tall. My waist measurement; 7 feet. Paul Childerley; champion kick-boxer I believe. Me; crap boxer. I got punched more times than the speed ball in our gym. Me; Ju-Jitsu brown belt (since breaking my back used only to hold my jim-jams up!). Thanks for a hugely enjoyable video.
What an excellent video! Great shooting from both Jon with the 12g and Sasha with the camera. Seriously, the quality of your output just gets better and better. One can almost forgive Mr. Carter his gushing ;)
Another great video. This looks like a very interesting shoot. Thanks once again. I visit your site frequently and find your expertise extremely useful.
Nice to see some woodland shooting , I think it’s totally different to shooting in an open field , more skill needed and can sort the men from the boys, great job.
Another great video. Did at bit of pruning but no window washing. I would have been out £200 for sure. Assuming I was hitting the birds. 😂 The variety of the scenery in the drives looked pretty damn cool. I'm envious of you all.
Great stuff again Jonny. Kind of disappointed you didn’t catch the falling bird at around 9:30 in your left hand, but you can’t have everything haha! Wonderful shooting day and filming......
Love it fella. Great to meet people you look up to, and to find they are just ordinary good file. Love these vlogs slightly addicted and I haven't even done one. Keep it going a great watch.
I’m with you on the 40yds out is as good as 40 yds up, my grandfathers words often in my ears. A lot of commercial shoot keepers would be very happy with this ethos with on tough days
Lads an absolutely thoroughly enjoyable film I'm working my way through all your videos at the mo and they are up there with some of the best. Keep it up lads..👍
Fantastic video and production quality is getting better and better all the time. Only comment would be that a bit of technical info would be helpful such as the gun and cartridges you used. Apart from that top notch :)
I really enjoyed the video. Did John happen to mention what gun model and barrel length he was using? It looked like a swift swinging bird dropper. Cheers, keep these kind of videos coming!
Paul comes across as a top guy and watching him regularly on Fieldsports Channel is always enjoyable. Favourite quarry the mighty Chinese Water Deer. As for non-commercialised shooting, I couldn't agree more. Too many shoots are becoming like wedding venues where the day is a process and the shooters are punters to be processed. It doesn't look great and it will damage our sport.
I love a bit of Baileys at Christmas. Keep up the good work especially when highlighting the hatred and terrorist tactics of the extremist elements of animal rights groups.
Still trying to understand English hunting; the costume, the extreme “properness” of it all (to include sleeved guns) instead of just being in the hunt. Excellent production and I continue to enjoy your episodes.
Okay, so I am a yank, and I am not understanding that if they are trying to propagate more birds in the wild why they shoot the hens, anyone? I get it if they have that rule when shooting released birds, but how do they know the bird is not a wild one until it's dead? Over here say in SD they release lots of birds, but still only shoot roosters. Lots of fun watching for sure.
i m a clay shooter and i always hope that the birds live for another day; there is some thing slightly obscene about a bunch of rich guys dressed up in £2000+ gear and accessories, with guns that cost $3-5-7000 killing far too many birds
Fairly extraordinary this just isn’t recognised as animal cruelty. I suppose the birds have a reasonably nice life before they’re shot but still. Darwin described it as senseless slaughter and stopped doing it .
Dunno what all the fuss is aboot neva eard of this childarly bloke everybod blowing smoke up his backside, GOD? Seems like a rete soft southan jessy,,,,as for as me concurned.

Paul is such a fantastic bloke, glad you had a great day. 👍

Great video Jonathan. I absolutely love your enthusiasm and energy that you put into the sport. Thank you

Production, cinematography, camera angles, subject matter, all brilliant!
Fantastic video and a great day had by all. Great to meet your heros and find that they are really down to earth people too. George Digweed next lol.
Great work guys, youth inspiring their elders - well done!

Great fun working my way quickly through these quality films
I know it’s late but to see 2 of the best, Jonny and Paul was worth the wait 😊. Great film thank you for sharing
I loved that especially your little banter with Paul at the end. Thank you and good shooting.
Can't get over the quality of production. Nice job, as always.

Nice to see some woodland shooting , I think it’s totally different to shooting in an open field , more skill needed and can sort the men from the boys, great job.
Good shooting Johnny was a pleasure to watch. Bet you had a heart in the mouth moment when that pheasant hit the building.
Jesus, it was intense. Would have been worth the money for the memories if it did happen!
Another great video. Did at bit of pruning but no window washing. I would have been out £200 for sure. Assuming I was hitting the birds. 😂 The variety of the scenery in the drives looked pretty damn cool. I'm envious of you all.
It was a cracking day for everyone present. Fairly constant smiles.
Great stuff again Jonny. Kind of disappointed you didn’t catch the falling bird at around 9:30 in your left hand, but you can’t have everything haha! Wonderful shooting day and filming......
Brilliant video was out beating at my friend small pheasant shoot love just being out in the field 👍
Great video! First time viewer of any of your stuff! I was like no no no no when the pheasant nearly hit the window!
Love it fella. Great to meet people you look up to, and to find they are just ordinary good file. Love these vlogs slightly addicted and I haven't even done one. Keep it going a great watch.

Wow unreal video
This was a enjoyable video. I wish it was not around the world from here because a hunt with these folks would be fun
Stunning video guys.. some amazing shots.. And Mr Childerley is a true gent 😊🇬🇧😊
Great video John and some top shooting too.
Thankyou mate. A couple of memorable birds
@@tgsoutdoors Looked like an excellent day John, very envious.
A great looking day out, good weather and good company.
It certainly was. Great fun with new friends and old.
Every day out is like Christmas. I have the same enthusiasm issues . Great film and picture quality.
Great vid, fantastic shooting!
What a pheasant plucking day that was. Great shooting Johnny.
Well done this video and your last one on driven pheasants in the rain made it on tsc 2 weeks on the bounce.
Can't deny, the slo-mo of the dead birds hitting the house was pretty cool haha.
Only want to come from Texas and experience that. Loved that last shoot mate! Close to the window on that big rooster.
Great video! Nice to see so many guns afield, and not in a war like situation. LOL
Lads an absolutely thoroughly enjoyable film I'm working my way through all your videos at the mo and they are up there with some of the best. Keep it up lads..👍
Thankyou, glad you enjoyed it.
Great video love your content just wish they were longer and more of them
Lots of birds on the floor I love watching the shooting.
Plenty for everyone, a great and memorable day out.
@@tgsoutdoors I love the Gun Shop videos
Fantastic video and production quality is getting better and better all the time. Only comment would be that a bit of technical info would be helpful such as the gun and cartridges you used. Apart from that top notch :)
Really well done. Thank you.
What a pheasant plucking day that must have been!
Amazing video again ! Thank you !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Great video as always, but “thrid drive”? 🤔😳😳 😏😜
Classic Sasha!
The Gun Shop 😲
Outstanding show, Jonny. Any chance you can add the playlist of the songs used on this episode? Thanks!
Excellent vid
I really enjoyed the video. Did John happen to mention what gun model and barrel length he was using? It looked like a swift swinging bird dropper. Cheers, keep these kind of videos coming!
Miroku MK38 32” fixed choke.
Great quality video
Please tell us what choke and distance you are shooting. Shot size also.
“Thrid Drive” lol
Great video and great camera work! Question though, why don't you walk on the drives? Are all the birds pushed towards you?
Indeed, some drives will Have walking guns, but there wasn’t that option in this day.
Paul comes across as a top guy and watching him regularly on Fieldsports Channel is always enjoyable.
Favourite quarry the mighty Chinese Water Deer.

love the game shooting vids what sort of cash is it for aday at pauls
Start at around £500 a day I believe
Great vid I've just applied for my sg2 what would you say the best first gun would be for around £600 thanks
Another great video guys! Was you back using your miroku john?
It was with the Miroku, beast of a thing.
I love a bit of Baileys at Christmas.
Keep up the good work especially when highlighting the hatred and terrorist tactics of the extremist elements of animal rights groups.
Excellent video ! The interview at the end was a bit giggily, had you two been imbibing at all, lol ?
Someone please tell me what song starts at 8:00!! Would love to see a vid at my local ground here in East Yorkshire :)
Curious and obvious question.. how many were using steel? ;)
What gun were you using here? Also would love to see a video of your gun / guns and why you own the ones you do
A MK38
Great time!
3:15 is beautiful!
He’s in love 😍
Fact
Great video mate, no glass broken bonus
That transition at 0:49 though
Ooh, that is the lovely and somewhat peculiar old O/U.
She’s a good old girl
I Love you man

Great video, but it’s third drive not thrid 😉😉
Johnkkgleeson only just realised this now... what is life
I Love hant vary much
Still trying to understand English hunting; the costume, the extreme “properness” of it all (to include sleeved guns) instead of just being in the hunt. Excellent production and I continue to enjoy your episodes.
This video was shot at 1pm in England. They didn't pray to the sun god enough

Fantastic video pity about the music
No hearing protection?
He's deaf , hadn't you noticed he lip reads .
If you shove lead shot in your ears it protects them on the cheap!
And oerlikon would have been far more effective!!
Is a necktie really necessary while hunting?
Not a necessity, but its for respect and etiquette
Yes
It shows respect to your quarry
i m a clay shooter and i always hope that the birds live for another day; there is some thing slightly obscene about a bunch of rich guys dressed up in £2000+ gear and accessories, with guns that cost $3-5-7000 killing far too many birds
Has anyone watched a better shooting video on RUclips???
Fairly extraordinary this just isn’t recognised as animal cruelty. I suppose the birds have a reasonably nice life before they’re shot but still. Darwin described it as senseless slaughter and stopped doing it .
6:45 ...what terrible shot is this man
Dunno what all the fuss is aboot neva eard of this childarly bloke everybod blowing smoke up his backside, GOD? Seems like a rete soft southan jessy,,,,as for as me concurned.
😂
