Will This 26-foot Culvert Really Work? (part 2)

DAY 2 - Property access continues to be a challenge but I'm slowly chipping away at replacing and adding culverts to reduce the mud holes. Today's efforts spanned nearly 5 hours but great progress was made. I was able to put the John Deere 2032R with the 270B backhoe to work to trench in this big culvert. One major goal is to be able to get the mill to the back of the property without issue.

Wow... when you jumped in the ditch on the outfeed side, to add the concrete bags, it was a LOT deeper than it originally looked! (Boy I hate old Barbed wire!! I've got what feels like miles of it.) Great job!

Yeh that “little” drop off had me concerned many a time when the side by side or tractor shifted in the mud towards the ditch. Also when my son was learning (still is) to ride his motorcycle through mud holes. I think it’s going to prove to be a huge improvement. So far so good but we haven’t had any substantial downpours
