    I just started watching this video and the greatest thing I noticed is that there is no loud blaring obnoxious music! You actually get to hear the sounds of work. 👍🏼

    I sure hope you kept this old tractor, I love it. When I was younger I had an old 9N and It was rough, but always worked. Worked like a mad man. Sometimes she didnt like starting up when it was really cold, but was fun none the less. Thanks for sharing this video with us and I hope you have a blessed week.

    Your videos are great man, and such a very nice tractor there. We have a 5000 here still working good except of it's hydraulic lift it's a bit jumpy and cannot lift harrowing implement, so sad to think. But again i really love watching your tractor action videos, thanx for uploading man..

    Yep nice logs sure brings back memories. I did alot of tractor logging in my day. So if i may suggest a way to simllify loading those logs. When your trailer is next to a bank as yours was cut a couple of log skids and set them from the bank to the trailer. It is easier to use your pigpole to stack on the skids than to reach over onto the trailer. Then simply role the logs in place this makes for easier handling. Take it from someone who did it this way to make a living.
    When i first started all i had was a chainsaw and a pickup. I actually skided with the pick up and cut 5' long pulpwood. Till i made enough to get my first tractor. Worked my way up to the point i had a loader and dozer with a flatbed dump truck to haul equipment and logs on. I also had gotten a Frick double 00 sawmill. Unfortunately a freak accident put me out of work and buisness. So stay safe out there and have fun i sure miss those days. Some said why do you like it so much with all the labor it takes. You know its hard to explain but it just never seemed like it was all that hard to me as i enjoyed what i was doing and not saying this as bragging but i got pretty darn good at what i did.

  • @specwar64
    @specwar64 5 лет назад +1

    You might wanna see if you can have a grapple attachment fitted to the front of that tractor. While the hook and boom might be good for dragging a log out of the brush,a grapple in front would make loading and unloading saw logs alot easier and faster.

    A lot of work skidding logs and loading and unloading. Me and my wife cut and skid and loaded my 18 foot trailer with over 50 pine trees a couple of years ago. After multiple trips back and forth we were finally through. It gives you satisfaction in knowing them logs will be turned into lumber. Like your old Ford Tractor. What kind of saw was you using? Have a Blessed Day Friend!

      @@falllineridge not to mention that you didn't pin the hitch. Great way to loose your equipment and/or total your truck should the safety chains hold. Pinching the strap in a sharp corner is also not a good idea. Not trying to be critical. Just hate for you to lose your equipment in an effort to save a dollar or two.

    tractor flips and rollovers are one of the largest groups of logging accidents and deaths in America. Most result from tractors towing heavy logs, hitting some small grade, and flipping back. You appear to be headed in that direction, and your tractor lacks a roll over bar. good luck

    You are not much of a logger or tractor operater you hook the log on the end and pick it up about a foot off the ground . Then proceed to haul it out of the woods . surprised the front of the tractor was not lifting off of the ground . It's amazing what people will try just to make money off of RUclips .

      What an ignorant comment. That's a 5,000 lb tractor...even more if the rear tires are calcium filled. A pine log isn't anywhere near lifting it off the ground.
