The worst part wasn't Kyle turning Junior it was Hamlin stopping to bring out a yellow so his teammate could catch Junior in the first place. A little "MWR" trickery years before that happened.
I distinctly remember throwing everything that was in front of me at the end of this race. Thankfully it was just newspapers and magazines lol
I don’t have a problem with what Busch did, I do have a problem with Hamlin riding around the track for 10 laps with a flat and then just stopping on track under green
I remember watching this race with my Papa. He got my into NASCAR, and we were both JR fans. After it happened, we were both sad lol

This race had Richmond's biggest crash since 2002, but was overshadowed by one very infamous moment that would send two fan bases into one giant feud.
And Kyle Busch turned into public enemy number 1 with this race...I like Dale Jr but a lot of Jr Nation are DARFs.
Can you guys upload the 2001 spring Talladega race that ran caution free? It would show so many fans today that you don't need wrecks to put on a great race. That race was excellent from start to finish. Not to mention you don't need stage cautions either.

Childhood is blaming the wreck on Kyle Busch. Growing up is realizing that it was just another racing accident and that Denny Hamlin caused all the trouble.
Denny led 95% of the race😯. I know he had to be majorly pissed off after the race
Man I forgot how dirty JGR was in the early Toyota days. Toyota teams in general really.
DW went surprisingly quite during Michael's accident. As Clint Bowyer said "Michael Waltrip is the worst driver in Nascar period."
I raised an eyebrow when I heard DW trying to say Michael thought they were still racing when MW was clearly trying to just full-throttle Mears into turn 1 lol

September that same year...was a Sunday afternoon race, was rescheduled to Sunday from Saturday night due to rain from Hurricane Hannah.
Looks like something Dale Earnhardt Sr. would do. Just like at Bristol.
Don't forget about Denny leading 381 out of 382, before having a flat tire
Nick brown then came to a complete stop to get a caution which helped Kyle catch Jr because he was pulling away before that 😂
Just about as close to a perfect race as you will ever see. Could have gone wire to wire.

Busch definitely went in too hot, but Jr also turned down on him. I don't think anyone holds 100% blame, it was just two guys that didn't want to give an inch.
Jr pinched him but it was definitely the right move to make.

@RowdyMajor8 a lot of fans mad at Kyle Busch are DARFs who threw things on the track when Jeff Gordon won, who probably would have a stroke if they found out Dale Earnhardt and Dale Jr actually respected Jeff Gordon, and that Dale Jr respects Kyle Busch.
