*When Ne doms talk it can go like this*
    Someone mentions subject A
*Ne dom* : "Oh about subject A, blablabla" (then within their story of subject A, comes subject B)
*Ne dom* then starts to talk about subject B, while not having finished with subject A, but happens to mention subject C somewhere
*Ne dom* starts talking about subject C, while neither finishing talking about subject A or B, but mentions subject D or hears subject D from the person they talk to
*Ne dom* starts talking about subject D, and mentions subject B again, and then goes talk about subject B again..and the whole thing sort of starts over in a similar sense like a loop, but somewhat differently...
And this can go on for a while without reaching any conclusion, when distraction E comes along, that distract the Ne dom to start talking about topic E and then a new cycle starts

I am similar to this but it happens more when I talk to Ne dominant types. I tend to go back to subject A to finish it before adding the third subject, trying not to make it more than 2 subjects at a time. Must be because Ti likes to keep things controlled, I don't just talk for the sake of talking and throwing around ideas, I talk because I want to say something specific. But I can definitely "go with the flow" without much hassle when I talk to Ne dominant types, although Ne dominant types that can't keep their Ne in check are absolutely impossible to teach something to.

Do you use a bot? It must be exhausting to copy past the same message on everything... If you do I am curious since I might use it myself.

Those are quite the interesting thoughts, I guess fear of success is a real thing. I have no clue about ROR's unique selling points in contrast to other languages, but making a simple bot for copy-paste and commenting should be doable. One thing I love about programming is automating tasks :p I did see some esoteric topics pop up on your video list, but I could have been mistaken, but I do connect that potentially mistaken thought to your love for energy.

How to easily spot the difference between old and new Eric videos: Long beard + hair = old . Short beard + hair = new. Did Kim have an influence on this?

I am INTP, I would either trail off and get lost in the sentence or use as few words as possible to get the idea across, especially if the content is rather boring, like types of cheese etc

I think the word for the grammatically broken sentence you were looking for is anacoluthon. That would make it easier to understand what you mean for those who can't completely catch what you were explaining. I apropos find this subject very fascinating. How different cognitive functions correlate with speech patterns.

I have a strong memory from my youth, I imagined punching a bystander in the face. And imagining how I’d handle his reaction. You just gave. Me the best line

I am an Fe user, when I’m speaking I do not look at a person for the most part especially if i have to explain something it dig in mentally. However if “you” are speaking I will make eye contact when I feel prompted to ... infj

Regarding Ni dom sense of humor, one of the things I tend to find hilarious is when things are magnified or exaggerated, particularly in people. By things, I mean indicators that point to abstract insights about people, the results being tied in with emotions somehow. Stereotypes, for example, displayed in their pure form and taken to their extreme will make me laugh. For example an image of an Asian guy sitting in his car with the front end all smashed up, indicating that he crashed his car, I will find that funny pretty much every time. Or a gym bro being ultra "gym bro-ey," especially if he's oblivious to his own behavior. It's probably something to do with perspective-shifting into that person's point of view(?)
I dunno, I find A LOT of things funny, I have an extremely highly developed sense of humor. I'm repulsed by "toilet humor" though. Not because it's gross, but because it's simple minded... I don't like being expected to laugh at it, I quickly become irritated.

That last part about ESTJ's reminded me about my good friend who just so happens to be an ESTJ. It sort of reinforced my understanding of our relationship and of course reminded me of why the ENTP and ESTJ can make a good match, friendship wise. Thank you for the video Eric, a really good watch!

Interesting. He too reminds me of my uncle, he was an oceonologist, one of the smartest man I`ve ever met, he looked just like him, and the speech pattern is almost identical. I obviously believe he was an ENTP.

Nice video. I actually have been trying to determine whether one of my friends is INTP or ENTP... REALLY hard to distinguish it from the outside and really tough to do it comparatively. I'm ENFP so it's easy for me to set myself as the standard of Ne--random, silly by default, testing boundaries with people. He, however is far more cautious about these sorts of things. He CAN be very Ne when he's comfortable and trusts a person but you'd never guess it without getting to know him over time. Nearly certain he's INTP, but don't have enough knowledge about NTPs in general to make the distinction yet. I'll try to pay more attention to speech patterns haha.

What you describe does more sound INTP to me . They do like to push buttons, but only when they feel socially comfortable to do so, while ENTP's tend to be more 'open ' does that. It takes a bit longer to see that" Ne side" with INTP's
