As an ENFP, I don’t REALLY care how you feel I should be. I’m the only one who’s me. Everything is everything. Enjoy it with me! I’ll be the way I am, and I’m myself for a reason. Interesting, as a Fe dom I also read reviews but only to see how satisfied most people are. I look too at how many reviews there are. If there aren't many reviews, it's probably not popular enough. I think that good products go viral and so I look for virality of how things spread.
I'm an ENFJ! If you're interested, check out my channel. I make a lot of videos about Fe and cognitive functions. and yes that is very Fe/Ti! Fe is about objective emotional environments, only unhealthy Fe types feel controlled by others in that way. healthy ones can read the emotional enviornment and use that to their benefit and can be feircely independent leaders.
Meghan LeVota You can be wrong. And popularity isn’t the mark of quality. Says an ENFP that likes peculiar and unpopular things that makes sense, not because they are unpopular.

Fi: you valuing others Fe: others valuing you To be more specific: Fi: someone specific valuing others in general (the subject does the valuing) Fe: people in general valuing someone specific (the object does the valuing)
Oh my goodness thank you! Iv been studying cognitive functions for years now (they really are so fascinating) and iv always felt that the online explanations of the differences between Fi and Fe were always far to black and white to be accurate. Seriously thank you! This clears it up so much!
Fe/Ti: Getting to know someone' happens naturally, and they are well aware of the purpose(s) for which they are meeting. The proper emotional distance is easily established, adapted/regulated, and manipulated, and they easily decrease distance through their emotional 'brilliance'. A person's name (and other formalities) are peripheral to their relation with and interest in them, and thus they don't care much about formal introductions. Te/Fi: Acquaintance with others is established by ritual (e.g., introduction), and they prefer if the context of interaction is externally set (eg, by a mediator (think 'arranged marriages') or situation) so that they can skip the first phases and begin closer interaction. They approach others through stages defined by 'rules' and 'rituals', which may be created by themselves and/or already existing; thus, they are very aware of the stages of the process of acquaintance e.g., when a person is no longer a stranger. The title, name, and any other information about the other person are considered important, and for this reason formal introduction is important
@@privateuser2283 why would one has inferior fe - yet that's related to having a value system related to the tribe - but the inferior makes that contradictory
I've studied the functions enough to be able to define them; my issue is when certain functions appear similarly to one another. I know these videos are just about identifying each function individually however I do hope that future videos will address how to identify functions working with one another e.g. Ne and Fi. I'm interested in how you describe the interplay between each one.
Marawan Elwakil E.g. My friend was confused whether he is an INFP or INFJ. It is made clear when he's under distress, he'd become an ESTJish tyrant rather than an ESTPish swindler. After the dynamics of the function axes are further delved into, it is certain that he is actually an INFP (FiNeSiTe), not an INFJ (NiFeTiSe). In fact, he even shows his preference of Fi-Te over Fe-Ti.
Is this the good example of it: So if we have a group of people at the theme park and there is a bunch of different crazy rides, for example. The person who prefers Fe will be like: i wanna go on the ride B but if the most of us want to go on the ride C, I would choose C too. Meanwhile the person using Fi would be like: i want to go to the ride A (idk why i skipped letter A before) and if no one wants to go there too, I'll go alone and meet with them later. Is my understanding of Fi vs Fe good?
Nope, Fi users dont care about others feelings. If you are Fi and a group of your friends wants you to go in the roller coaster B with such emotional expression, even crying, you will feel dissapointing, you will consider choice other friends because you don't want to go in the roller coaster b, you want to go in the roller coaster C, and if your friends are complaining It's time to choice new friends, "My feelings and desires are first" - Fi users.
@saicon that might be Fi for kids under 5. I'm an INFP Fi Savior, normally I'll do what my friends want because I'm indifferent. But when I decide what I want I'll fight for it and will go do it alone if nobody agrees with me. We are still capable of compromise lol. I think you are equating FI with selfishness and narcissism, the can look similar but are different.
@@dcarze9 that's what i thought. Thank you. I am a Fi user myself and I care what my friends wanna do but i want something else very passionately (like going on a very fast and crazy ride at the park that no one wants to and they all want to go to the other not as "scary" one) I'd rather go alone and do that than chase after them and comply. When I'm indifferent - same. I don't mind doing what they want
Stumbled upon your later videos after watching tons of personality profile channels and immediately fell in love with your banter. But then, as I listened, I realized the depth of analysis you guys were casually throwing out was beyond anything I had heard. You were talking about concepts and ideas no other channels had touched on. I have been reluctant to give up on Myers Briggs due to the experiential validation I have seen daily. But I constantly have found myself frustrated by the inconsistent information and results I found online. In short, I’m starting your videos from the beginning because I really think your framework and theories show promise. I really appreciate that you are aware of the problems with Myers Briggs and are working to address them.
I think I am starting to understand. I am also watching Binyamin Tsadik's channel and listening to his explanations and his opinion of your channel which was so great (it confirmed that I thought I had found somebody sensible about this type of information). If I never really understand it all, you must understand that this channel has helped me immensely. I wish I had known this as a teenager, it would have helped me understand myself and my family so much better. I am making up for it though. I am most grateful to you and your wife. When you give concrete examples of the behaviour you are talking about, that is when I understand much better. Thank you for helping me. This is really great stuff.
Wow, this really clears things up. I used to be so confused as to whether I use fi/te or ti/fe, but I’m pretty sure I use fi/te now. XD thank you so much I love you
It's not "simply" what you like or don't like. It's what do you TEND to pick up on EASILY. Some people are in tune with the feelings of others, while being unable to decipher THEIR OWN feelings. While some people understand their own feelings perfectly well, yet at the same time having trouble picking up on the feelings of others. It's TENDENCIES. What you are on auto-pilot half the time. It has NOTHING to do with "prioritizing" things. It's simply what do YOU easily PICK UP ON NATURALLY. Everyone has intuition. Some people are simply better at NATURALLY utilizing it it is. "Preference is a COMPLETELY WRONG way of looking at it. Animals have feelings for VERY SPECIFIC reasons. It doesn't like or dislike someone for no good reason. There's past information of danger in their evolutionary DNA. If they see the silhouette of an inanimate bear vs the silhouette of a rabbit, they'll become afraid of the fake bear over the real rabbit because it symbolizes DANGER. A blood hound doesn't have a "preference" for smelling and tracking better than a Chihuahua, it's simply BETTER at doing it. All dogs smell. It's just some dogs are VERY VERY good at it. Fi's simply have a harder time picking up others' emotions and knowing how to properly reciprocate; unless they have a prior experience in their subconscious they can draw in from. Fe's are simply more sensitive to others'. "Values" is a HORRIBLE way to look at Fi vs Fe. Fi does NOT mean you only "value" your feelings and say go fuck the tribe's feelings. It's a COGNITIVE [tendency] NOT a "value" system or "preference". It means your brain doesn't easily pick up on the feelings of others because your COGNITION is ORIENTED INWARD when it comes to feelings. And a RESULT of that is you tend to "conceal" emotions, whether purposefully or not. Aaaaand it's also why Fi's have a hard time reciprocating or showing the [expected] social reaction to certain emotional situations. They don't react "as they should" because they have a hard time deciphering what [others/society] defines as the appropriate emotion that "should" be emoted. That's why Fi's have a TENDENCY for being blunt and harsh. It doesn't mean Fe's can be harsh or blunt. It's just that Fi's do it without even noticing it. THEIR feelings are DISTRACTING them; not the tribes. And for Fe's the TRIBES feelings are distracting them; not theirs.
I don't care if people like or don't like a certain product. I just care about the reasons why they like that product like it works, it is durable and has multiple uses.
thanks, helped me alot to understand why I'm really an ENTP, because "wait, I can feel others and adjust to them, and thats not what an ENTP is supposed to be able to" shit and I knew it was wrong to say that
same bro Im not sure if I have inferior fe cause I get very awkward with comforting others and always care what others think and worry about others...but I still value individuality a shit ton and won't conform to others just because. I just am scared im being a jerk and im not sure if thats fe or my social anxiety..or is it my trauma..from the past from being excluded a lot..idk who fking knows
It's tough. But maybe I can help a little. Im pretty sure Im an INTP and my friend is an INFP. We both have an introverted function in the front. So both of our human needs are dominant, so we value our individuality first before the group. My Ti likes to take things and break it down so I can understand it. If its a video game, I have to sit there and learn the mechanics and movements first because logically, to me, I need to perfect my controls before I play. For my friend, lead Fi, he doesnt focus on that kind of stuff. He'll just jump in and look for the coolest gear to express himself. Or he'll make himself in a video game and he'll try to help me find my own self expression in the game cause I usually just gloss over that stuff. My self expression, I guess, is that Im playing optimally rather than playing something that reflects myself and who I am in a game. I guess when it comes to a group setting, Im always kind of anxious on what the group is feeling and Im kinda blind to what the vibe of the group is. So if the group is planning on doing Activity A, I'd feel weird that Im choosing to do Activity B cause what if thats rude or what if the group wants me to hang out with them. Vs my friend, he seems to be ok with it. He'll come into the group and say, "I'll chill with yall while you all do Activity A, but Imma be over here doing Activity B instead" These are just the things ive noticed and Im wonder if you all relate or agree/disagree with your own experiences?
Fi is aware of social cues, but just doesn't care is the most INTJ thing to say ever. I know a couple INTJs and they all claim to be aware of social cues, but I've seen them so out of touch again and again. I think it's an insecurity thing with INTJs where they know they're really intelligent, but feel like they need to be intelligent at everything, but social situations can be such a blind spot to them. So not sure I totally agree with that statement.
It still doesn't make sense to me. So the Ti guys cannot look at the social spectrum of reasons, and the Fi guys cannot look at the social spectrum of feeling? Because I'm pretty sure we've all done both... At least I have.
Saying that feelings are about what you like does a disservice to the fact that Si can play a role in this as well. As an INTP, I make most of my decisions on logic but Si plays a significant role as well. I do often use Fe in social situations, but that's not about what I like but understanding what the group likes so I can fit in. If I make a stand on Fi principles, it is something I've really put a lot of thought into and I don't take that lightly at all. To me, Fi is serious business, but I reserve that for things that truly matter and so it is rarely used and something I've become more in tune with as I get older. Most of the time, logic and a sense of comfort/normalcy is what drives most decisions on "what I like" with exploring the new also being a huge factor for when I decide to step outside of my comfort zone.
Bu Zan You're probably a double decider, that's why. Let me try to help continuing the Amazon example. If you read reviews to see *if* people like the product or not, that's Fe. If you read reviews to see *why* people like the product or why they don't, that's Te. *If* is like or not, *why* is reasons.
@@uggggggghhhhh Most people do both, it's about your conscious or unconscious preference of one over other (if/how much vs why). Most of the times one will focus on whether people like the product or not & how much they like it, or why they liked it.
As an INFJ (Fe) with an ENFP (Fi) boyfriend, I think I can give a good example. Whenever we're both in the car and I'm the one in charge of the music, my first instinct is to choose songs that I'm guessing he will like too. My preference is to look outwards (consider his music taste & how he's feeling in that moment) and then look inwards (choose something that I enjoy too). Him on the other hand, he first looks inwards (chooses music that he really likes or excites him) and only then does he look outwards (asking me if I like it too). Sometimes we've gotten into small arguments because he's very quick to say "I don't like that song" and my Fe can't help but think: how can you not just go along with what other people prefer? 😅 but then I remember we just have different preferences! And he never says it in a mean way he's just very in touch with his likes and dislikes lmao
That Amazon example was a good example, I'm an INTJ, and I also looked at ratings and how it fits in with my needs and wants, never looked at the other side (of the example you gave), simply because that was their experience and that doesn't necessarily mean it will repeat itself (s*** happens) but if the overall rating is over 70% than I'm good and if the comments about a product are reasonable enough than I'll most likely buy it....
When it comes to movies I don't really like or dislike movies based on what others think but when I love a movie I can get annoyed that others didn't like it and vice versa. I often think they didn't see in the movie what I saw. And I try to tell people my personal opinion on the movie. So that they'll understand but they usually don't haha.
People always talk about "are you more right or left brained?" Like asking if you are more artsy or more scientific. I guess you could say I'm a "front brainer." (NT)
How does Fe work when you are Ti dominant? I care about my reasons and couldn't give a damn about the tribe reasons. But supposedly, when I tune into feelings, I'm supposed to care about tribe values because it's Fe? I don't care in the least.
Great video. The nuance is greatly appreciated. However, I have a question about distinction. My dad is ISTJ and my mom is INFP, which both possess Fi, yet they both actively boycott Procter & Gamble products (like Crest toothpaste, Mr. Clean, and Tide) because apparently P&G donate to political causes that my parents disagree with. However, it's not necessarily a tribe mentality. No one else in my family's immediate circle of contacts has similar sentiments regarding the company. Thoughts?
Haha this is what happened to me..... I wanted to watch House of cards but since so many more were watching Game of Thrones, I rather chose GOT!!! Fe here... thank you for making it simple why I am behaving like this
I love your videos, but I wish you would slow down your speech a little AND pause sometimes in between thoughts. It's hard for me to mentally process all the information that quickly. I need time to think about what you're saying and analyze it, otherwise I end up not hearing parts of what you said and then having to rewind the video. Most people's youtube videos, including yours, I end up having to pause the video a few times and even sometimes rewind the video a bit and listen again just to catch what they're saying. But thank you for making such entertaining videos!!! I'm a new subscriber.
"i" takes things personally more than not. "e" is much less personal...they are more interested in seeing if they can get other people to go along with them. "i" is much better at being in a group that doesn't agree with their own (F/T). They are used to this and are better at tolerating it. "i" will generally keep their thoughts to themself. "e" are certainly going to make known their own (F/T) and it won't matter too much to them if you disagree; they are hardly married to their thoughts.
When I saw the Dog .... I thought that kind of explains the difference between Dogs and Cats ... Dogs are Fe ... and Cats are Fi ... what do you think 🤔
Summary for me: one is a front ended feeler (fi) and the other, a front to back ended feeler (fe). Inside the mind. Both sides know what they feel subjectively (front end or self) but the fe is willing to take in more objective information and may or may not choose to abandon self for others in order to not only navigate the environment/people around them but advocate for them/it, and integrate within it. I would consider Fe a slower start in this regard then, cognitively speaking. Fi is very singular because the point of reference is 1 (self). Fe 1 (self) to unknown number or variable (tribe or any number of people/amount of information from the environment) to then make a circle back to 1 for choosing. End result being self validation and understanding. Fe can suck for me because oftentimes I wonder where I end or begin because of the nature of my taking on other people’s feelings or the environment around me. All I become is information at that point and is why the “unknown” is ok with me, instead of being a separation of information. It is why a recharge becomes sort of necessary to balance fi for the simplicity of my own understanding.
Haa,,,perfect explanation... I really like how you simplify things ... I have a little bit of an issue with people that try to push things with the fe like having an iPhone for example, just because everybody else has it??? Lol. I don't care who else has it, all I know is that I like the Android and screw the iPhone. Personally if it was up to me I wouldn't even have a phone.. Another example is having a Facebook account, everyone around me seems to think that I should have one , but thing is,, I don't care what everybody thinks.. I had it before and it was consuming and becomes a bad habit... Also,, I do respect and understand other people's opinions as long as they are not pushed upon me to agree with... I find that bothersome... Actually I find it down Right annoying... I can say that having that type of thinking process or feeling process does not seem to fit in with the majority and sometimes I feel like I'm being a bitch but at the end of the day I can't change that about myself nor do I care to.. The best car, the most expensive house, new Jordans....ect.. none of those things matter to me... and it's hard to explain that to a lot of people and have them understand... I would assume I'm a pretty big fi user....
So you are an FI Type? Same lol. I can truly relate on what you mean, its the exactly same type of philosophy when it comes to, for example, having an iPhone just because everyone else got one. But which doesn't mean I am an egoist which lots of people think of FIs... To be honest I didn't really get what the video was about. I didn't feel like getting exposed after watching it. After all it means that FE types feel like helping others and FIs only care about themselves which is not really true to me. I am an INFJ -A which is know for helping others, caring and giving but acting Introvert besides feeling like an E. Most of the people thing FIs are kinda egoistic. In just try to get my own stuff done without the help of others. I don't get it lol.
I’ve been having trouble gauging which F I have and where, someone typed me as a Ti dom using this system but I still can’t grasp it because I view myself as such an emotional person. I mean, “everyone can do everything”, so it’s probably got a lot to do with stereotypes and stuff.
I have a question for you. Maybe you can help me, or at least give me your opinion. I've always had a dilemma where I feel like Fi is my dominant function, BUT at the same time I feel like I'm ENFJ because I prefer to plan things out in advance and stick to the plan (aka J). I'm terrible at going with the flow. AND I feel like an extrovert (aka E). I definitely have my introverted side, but I love socializing WAY too much and meeting new people WAY too much to consider myself an introvert. So I always end up testing ENFJ. And although the ENFJ description is not a perfect fit for my personality, I still feel like it describes me best out of the 16 types. BUT I STILL feel like, out of the 8 cognitive functions, Fi fits me better than Fe. I definitely care about others and their preferences (aka Fe), BUT I am definitely still WAY more in-tune or in-touch with MY OWN emotions/feelings/preferences. I am hyper-aware of my own feelings/thoughts/preferences at any given moment, so therefore I definitely relate to Fi more!!! But of course that directly CONTRADICTS me calling myself an ENFJ. .....So the QUESTION IS.... Is there some explanation of how I can be ENFJ but lead with Fi??? I know this will make no sense to most people (because they're not experiencing it like I am), but I swear it's true in some way. There's gotta be some logical explanation! And of course I've considered that maybe I'm really INFP/ENFP because of this dilemma, but I CAN'T be because I'm definitely NOT a perceiver. I am definitely judging. Sometimes I will even have a mini-meltdown if there are too many changes to the plan in a row or in a short period of time!!!
INFP here. I wonder, if you’re an ENFJ whose Fe and Ni are working in tandem/efficiently enough that it seems to work or appear like Fi. Perhaps you’ve just taken the time to grow those functions in a way that either seems like Fi to you, or through your life circumstances you’ve developed some of your lower 4 functions. The question I have is how strong is your sense of Te? If you’d consider it lower than your main 4 functions, then I would just say that you are an Fe user who’s learned to develop your lower Fi function. Obviously, I don’t know you personally, but that’s just my two cents on it based on the information you’ve given.
I am over here looking at Amazon reviews and remembered this video... I think i am an enfj... Items may have a good reviews but I always look for why ppl gave it a low rating... and see if it fits what I can "tolerate " or not 😂😂 I will never look at amazon reviews the same
Yaa I to felt it just some minor difference in decision making remaining all are same in both Fe and fi .one can be fe and fi but on varying degree and there surrounding environment and it's influence on them during childhood and now
Just to clarify, Fi: makes decision by your values and believes every individual makes his decisions based on your values Ti: makes decision by your reasons and believes every individual makes his decisions based on your reasons Fe: makes decision by your values and believes every individual makes his decisions based on his values Te: makes decision by your reasons and believes every individual makes his decisions based on his reasons, which may also happen to be his values Which also explains why Te people are best at dealing with other people although confrontational, as they want to find out how every other person decides without assuming anything. Is that correct? Please correct me if I am wrong, thanks!
Fe makes decisions by looking at the majority’s moral value and you follow that Te makes decisions based on outward effectiveness, making rational thought a reality Fi is your own values that aren’t easily influenced by others Ti is your theories that don’t need to be exactly executed or shown
Why do people circumcise? For tradition? Sure, but it’s really not necessary. But as it doesn’t make me upset inside, I don’t care to really seriously ask, it just doesn’t make anything more effective. But if everyone keeps doing something that isn’t effective for all, and the reasons make no sense, as a tertiary Te user, I call bullshit on everyone participating. Because my Secondary Fi says fuck that. You all can be wrong.
(this is 3 years later so pretty sure you're not even going to read this but I don't care. It's a nice outlet for me :p ) lol you're my new favorite! you're clearing sooooooooo much up for me! 39 Tests all say I'm INFJ. I knew that was wrong. I don't poop rainbows. So someone suggested I was an E. So I checked that out and resonated with ENFJ the most. Only... most describe them as these big crowd loving, magnetic people luring guru types. First off: I think my magnetic poles are reversed. People tend to want to stay away from me. Second... Big crowds? Uh... If I can watch them from up on a balcony and only if they give off a good vibe like at a concert. Maybe. Otherwise, no thanks. Then all of a sudden that someone that suggested I was an E also said in a video that ENFJ's prefer small groups and selected people. I was like 'yes!' But most times I'm like 'ugh humans...' but then I'm like 'gotta' help these poor humans'. And then I get annoyed with myself for not being able to make up my frigging mind.
(INFJ-A) My personality type is know for helping others, caring and giving but acting Introvert besides feeling like an E. To be honest I didn't really get what the video was all about. I didn't feel like getting exposed after watching it. After all most of the people think FI s are egoistic and only care about themselves which is not really true to me, and lots of FI s I know. I just try to get my own stuff done without the help of others. At the amazon example Id be like "oh ok, I know exactly what I wanna buy and know my reasons, but lets check out the reviews to be sure it is was good product for most of the costumers based on the same value" but at the end of the day I know exactly what I want and sometimes don't care of any other opinion and put my own shit together🧜🏽♀️ For example: I never really gave a shit on what other people mean is right or wrong, I just love android and don't buy myself an iPhone just because everyone else has one. Or some other popular brands which I never was interested in because idc. Thats my thing and no-one could ever tryna stop me from doing what I love. But I am not egoistic. I just do my thing thats why I am an INF
im so confused at this point. i think my functions are te ne si fi but ofc not in that order. although none of the types fit the stack i can condone to.
Morals and values are something for every N type. Fe feeling sad for people who have issues, while Fi feels sad for their own issues, the same with happines, anger, ...etc.
But what about Te? Te can also look at the social spectrum just like the Fe, but from a totally different and strategy oriented perspective. I think this video is helpful but only to a certain extent in my quest of landing on either intj or infj Ps; Going to search your channel for a video on Fe vs Te. I hope you'd have one
Fi/Te users= I like it, but what's their reason to like it as well?
Fe/Ti users: They like it, but what's my reason to like it as well?

Fi: someone specific valuing others in general (the subject does the valuing)

I’m not gonna lie learning about humans has made me able to make my cat love me.
That cute thing is just a introvert.
This answers so many of the things I have been critical about when it comes to this things.
Can you give us an example? I am interested about it
@@privateuser2283 why would one has inferior fe - yet that's related to having a value system related to the tribe - but the inferior makes that contradictory
This video just reinforced to me that I'm Fe and Ti. Good video, really clear on how to see whether someone is Fi or Fe.
Also how the hell to type functions in unhealthy people or generally people under stress. Big wishlist I know lol.
Marawan Elwakil
It is actually easier to type people when they are under temporary distress.
Marawan Elwakil
Is this the good example of it:
So if we have a group of people at the theme park and there is a bunch of different crazy rides, for example.
I don't know. But, it's a very interesting thought experiment.
I don't mind doing what they want
if i want something else*
"I HAVE TO BUY THAT. That's gonna make me feel SO GOOD." That part literally made me laugh out loud, bravo
So both Fe and Fi act based on what they “feel” is right, but Fe habituates comparing that to what the tribe feels is right?
3:30 "This isn't total clear cut science but just kinda play along" hahhahahah
I was confused between whether I was an INTJ or INTP. This Fe vs Fi clear it up. I'm simply well tuned to my inner feelings while I walk into walls.
I've needed this channel for a long time.
You deserve a lot of likes, around 1k or something.
Dave is back! Is this real life?
No, it's just backdated footage from 'Shada'.
My Fi says it likes how you express yourself and is grateful you are doing all of this, it really appreciates it.
I think this is one of the best ones on this channel! Thanks for posting it.
"No... I'm saying you're dumb." LOL awesome.
The last sentence got me cackling. Omg Iv been waiting what 5 years for this to come back
I don't care if people like or don't like a certain product. I just care about the reasons why they like that product like it works, it is durable and has multiple uses.
thanks, helped me alot to understand why I'm really an ENTP, because "wait, I can feel others and adjust to them, and thats not what an ENTP is supposed to be able to" shit and I knew it was wrong to say that
So based on this now I’m confused if I use Fi/Fe or Ti/Te. But I seem to be either be intp or infp.
same bro Im not sure if I have inferior fe cause I get very awkward with comforting others and always care what others think and worry about others...but I still value individuality a shit ton and won't conform to others just because.
He'll come into the group and say, "I'll chill with yall while you all do Activity A, but Imma be over here doing Activity B instead"
These are just the things ive noticed and Im wonder if you all relate or agree/disagree with your own experiences?
More!! Give us more!!!!
Men... Welcome back, i appreciate your massive effort! KEEP THE WORK! wonderful VideoS!!
2:34 Batman is Fi user, obvi.
I still don't get it.
And you never will.
Go drink some IQ
Bu Zan
You're probably a double decider, that's why.
Let me try to help continuing the Amazon example.
If you read reviews to see *if* people like the product or not, that's Fe.
If you read reviews to see *why* people like the product or why they don't, that's Te.
*If* is like or not, *why* is reasons.
@@nachiketpargaonkar8646 what if you take both of those factors into consideration?
@@uggggggghhhhh
Most people do both, it's about your conscious or unconscious preference of one over other (if/how much vs why).
Linda knew a lot of the ways everyone is the same but I just couldn't find anything that explained it well so thank you
Fi looks at the social spectrum and goes: Meh
My first video from this channel and I already love it
That Amazon example was a good example, I'm an INTJ, and I also looked at ratings and how it fits in with my needs and wants, never looked at the other side (of the example you gave), simply because that was their experience and that doesn't necessarily mean it will repeat itself (s*** happens) but if the overall rating is over 70% than I'm good and if the comments about a product are reasonable enough than I'll most likely buy it....
Fi = "What's good for myself?"
Fe = "What's good for others?"
People always talk about "are you more right or left brained?" Like asking if you are more artsy or more scientific. I guess you could say I'm a "front brainer." (NT)
ugh i dont have the sensory to confirm to myself if im right about being Fi or Fe
You told it in simple and understanding way
DO MORE. Fix this broken understanding! I love the animalistic analogy!
How does Fe work when you are Ti dominant? I care about my reasons and couldn't give a damn about the tribe reasons. But supposedly, when I tune into feelings, I'm supposed to care about tribe values because it's Fe? I don't care in the least.
So, what does it mean when you CARE that you socially fit in, and it hurts that you don't, but you never, ever, socially fit in?
Nice Video, Easy to understand, rare to find such gems
Great video. The nuance is greatly appreciated. However, I have a question about distinction.
My dad is ISTJ and my mom is INFP, which both possess Fi, yet they both actively boycott Procter & Gamble products (like Crest toothpaste, Mr. Clean, and Tide) because apparently P&G donate to political causes that my parents disagree with. However, it's not necessarily a tribe mentality. No one else in my family's immediate circle of contacts has similar sentiments regarding the company. Thoughts?
Josh Rose it's probably less about tribe values and more about their own values.
Exactly. They are boycotting based on their own political feelings and not based on how the public as a whole feels.
Great job, Mr. Superpowers
Haha this is what happened to me..... I wanted to watch House of cards but since so many more were watching Game of Thrones, I rather chose GOT!!! Fe here... thank you for making it simple why I am behaving like this
Must be nice being content with such simple conceptual knowledge
Only some aspects. Other aspects it's reverse as well, for example Fi can be extremely loyal like a dog & Fe can be manipulative like a cat.
@Hinemoa you can present a case supporting cats
idk but your video has the great vibe haha the sarcastic one i love it😭👍🏻
This is really refreshing content.
Thou shall be worshipped, finally this s*** got into my head, that was hard as an idiot to differentiate. Thanks a lot bruv.
Soooooo refreshing! That's the kind of explanation I've needed! Thank you!
I don't get it lol.
fi: i am what i like/love ti: i am what i think
did i get it right?
So, everyone are the same, no matter they are Fe or Fi, because Fi have Te anyway.
The amazon example is really fitting and clear
this just makes sense
I’ve been having trouble gauging which F I have and where, someone typed me as a Ti dom using this system but I still can’t grasp it because I view myself as such an emotional person. I mean, “everyone can do everything”, so it’s probably got a lot to do with stereotypes and stuff.
wait lmao, are you that guy on PBD? cause i swear someone has the same pfp of you on there.
yay you're really back!
I have always thought the definitions of FI and FE were not clear
Items may have a good reviews but I always look for why ppl gave it a low rating... and see if it fits what I can "tolerate " or not 😂😂
I will never look at amazon reviews the same
This is so true. I'm an ISFJ
😂😂
Could you please go over “Se” vs “Ne”? :)
It's a duality not dichotomy 👌🙏💪
Yaa I to felt it just some minor difference in decision making remaining all are same in both Fe and fi .one can be fe and fi but on varying degree and there surrounding environment and it's influence on them during childhood and now
This explanation is so Ti I love it
As an Enfp this explanation appeals to me a lot, it's quick, it's fast and now I know what these darn letters mean!
This is awesome. Thank you!
urggg i’m going thru a major crisis on not knowing if i’m an INFJ or an INFP aND THIS JUST MADE ME MORE CONFUSED ANJDJD
These videos are only getting better
Great explanation !! Goshhhh I miss you
Just to clarify,
Fi: makes decision by your values and believes every individual makes his decisions based on your values
Ti: makes decision by your reasons and believes every individual makes his decisions based on your reasons
Fe: makes decision by your values and believes every individual makes his decisions based on his values
Te: makes decision by your reasons and believes every individual makes his decisions based on his reasons, which may also happen to be his values
Which also explains why Te people are best at dealing with other people although confrontational, as they want to find out how every other person decides without assuming anything.
Is that correct? Please correct me if I am wrong, thanks!
Fe makes decisions by looking at the majority’s moral value and you follow that
Te makes decisions based on outward effectiveness, making rational thought a reality
Fi is your own values that aren’t easily influenced by others
Ti is your theories that don’t need to be exactly executed or shown
Why do people circumcise? For tradition? Sure, but it’s really not necessary. But as it doesn’t make me upset inside, I don’t care to really seriously ask, it just doesn’t make anything more effective. But if everyone keeps doing something that isn’t effective for all, and the reasons make no sense, as a tertiary Te user, I call bullshit on everyone participating. Because my Secondary Fi says fuck that. You all can be wrong.
What Eunhye said ^^
What if I don't care about reasons, I just decide?
And then I get annoyed with myself for not being able to make up my frigging mind.
we're 99 percent the same and yet that 1 percent makes us oh so different
Humans and chimps share 98.8 percent of DNA
I feel like this video continually slaps me across the face
Lmfaoo god bless, beautiful simplification
Teacher is a fucking goddamn ENTP :D
I'm an ISFJ and I could relate to this too.
im so confused at this point. i think my functions are te ne si fi but ofc not in that order. although none of the types fit the stack i can condone to.
i think I love you. What is your MBTI?
Morals and values are something for every N type.
Fe feeling sad for people who have issues, while Fi feels sad for their own issues, the same with happines, anger, ...etc.
You ever plan on doing Big 5 stuff?
Wow. Thank you, your explanation works the best out of all the rest. You help me figured it out.
But what about Te? Te can also look at the social spectrum just like the Fe, but from a totally different and strategy oriented perspective. I think this video is helpful but only to a certain extent in my quest of landing on either intj or infj
Ps;
Going to search your channel for a video on Fe vs Te. I hope you'd have one
Love you long time DaveSuperPowers
my ISFJ mom married my dad because he is her mom's choice.
i still can't see my type, INFP or INFJ?
Why are there no subtitles?
