  • Come with us on a day trip to Orlando! This video will give you a full tour of our favorite resort, Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress. This resort is right next door to Disney Springs.
    We'll explore the whole resort together, I'll show you the best pool in Orlando, share the tip for getting the best seat poolside, and tell you why even though I love this resort, I wouldn't stay here to go to the theme parks.

    If you’ve found a better pool in Orlando, please let me know! I’d love to stay there and do a review!

      Four seasons Orlando! You’ll never want to go anywhere else after. We wait until it’s $570 /night rather than 800+! You just have to keep checking. It’s almost a shame we went there first now nothing feels close to it!

      @@crazydancer2006 oooooh that’s definitely on the bucket list! I’ve looked at it before but the price stopped me 😬 I’ll take your advice and keep checking!

    If you walk further past the mini golf course you’ll also find a couple of tennis courts and lastly, a basketball court as well.

    My family’s favorite resort as well! We miss the suspension bridge that once crossed the immense swimming pool.

    Spent 15 nights staying her, breakfast and club access. Didn't want to leave on the last day...! Its pricey but we found it was worth the extra cash. You should if you afford to, book a 'pool view' room as you will see some unbelievable sunsets followed by the nightly Disney fireworks display.

    • @floridadaytrippers
      @floridadaytrippers  3 года назад

      Nice! I’ll have to check out club access sometime! We usually get the pool view, we absolutely love it 😍 Can’t wait until Disney brings back fireworks, that makes it even better.

    Is there a fee to use the rock climbing, bikes, kayaks, etc.? If so, how much?

    • @benliu5150
      @benliu5150 2 года назад +2

      No, it;s covered by the additional $42 resort fee per day billed to the hotel room.

    If you have a Hyatt card, you can have up to 2 days for free in this resort. That what I did last year, staying for 5 days with 2 free nights. Worth every penny!

  • @frankortolano5886
    @frankortolano5886 2 года назад +3

    All that money,,then they charge you 50 per day extra called resort fee,and Disney charges 25 per day extra for parking fee,,,,,scam

    • @tony64t
      @tony64t 3 месяца назад

      The resort fee also includes free bus rides to Disney Springs. From there you’ll be able to catch a free Disney bus ride to the park of your choosing.

      The smaller one is but the larger one isn’t, unfortunately. It can be quite chilly depending on the weather.

    I'm just wondering who's going to want to paddle board and water that has alligators you say don't swim in there but is paddleboarding safe if you're surrounded by alligators?

    • @floridadaytrippers
      @floridadaytrippers  3 года назад

      As long as you don’t fall in 😅 My fiancé used the paddle board and had a blast but I’m less coordinated so I watched from shore 😂 Alligators can be in any Florida fresh water but we didn’t spot any while we were there.

    • @artvandelay409
      @artvandelay409 2 года назад +1

      There are no alligators in the water there. Years ago, a little boy was killed by an alligator at one of the Disney Resorts so all the hotels were required to put up those signs. If there were alligators in that water, the hotel would have removed them.

    I'm pretty sure they don't like you to "reserve" a chair with a towel... Besides, it's just very rude. In the other Hyatt Regency closeby they have signs that they will remove such towels.

    • @floridadaytrippers
      @floridadaytrippers  2 года назад

      They did not have a sign at this particular Hyatt at the time I visited. That may have changed though. You don’t have to reserve with a towel, but just know others will be and it makes it very hard to find a seat. I went to my seat less than 30 minutes after I took footage and all seats were taken at that time.

    How deep is the water in the cave?

    • @tony64t
      @tony64t 3 месяца назад +1

      It’s waist deep getting deeper towards the bar. The deepest area is underneath the bridge that is no longer there. It’s 6.5 ft deep in that area.
