GREAT, We are taking my wife and sister-in-law out for their birthdays to Disney Springs. I really like that you give every restaurant a "this is what they are good at " and also, " if you are not into.... there are better choices" so you give both the good and the bad and let us make an informed choice. Thanks a bunch.
I absolutely love love love Disney springs! We sat on the balcony of Winebar George sipping cocktails watching the world go by on my last visit,it was amazing. Can't wait to go back.
I love how thorough your guides are. I know I always mention this, but I used to live a day's drive away, and your videos and guides are more helpful than those of the locals! ❤️🌹👍🏼
I watch Disney Springs videos whenever I can and yours is easily the best when it comes to overview and understanding. So well put together 👍. Nicely done 😊
I like shopping and browsing at the Disney’s Days of Christmas shop. Earl of Sandwich is my go to for a quick bite. Chef Art’s is another favorite for me as well. I haven’t been to Gideon’s Bakehouse there, but I always stop by the other location on Corrine Dr. They take online orders which is very helpful, considering it’s tight spot and limited parking at that location. Great video and as always it’s great hearing from you! 😊
Yeah Earl of Sandwich is good. I included it in a previous script but the video was getting too long. Gideon’s is great, haven’t tried the other location. Wish we had one in the uk! Thanks for watching 😁
Great vlog thankyou. I love Disney Springs & partial to a Gideons cookie regardless of the queue! 😊 We love Earl of sandwich & Chicken Guy for a quick fill. Definitely need to extend our pallete next trip 😂 x
Im from the UK & I am going to Orlando in October this year with my good friend and we have never been, I have been watching your videos on the variety of parks etc and they are absolutely brilliant. They are clear, precise and its great you give the pro's and cos on some of them. Well done Buddy, keep up the fab work. 🙌🙌
Great video ❤ We have visited Orlando 5 times over 9 years and we love it so much. This will help us chose our next trips meals as theres too much to walk round and look at every menu. Thanks for the video. Homecoming is my favourite place to eat so far, followed by The Boathouse 🎉
Top quality video. Very detailed but never feels long. We love going to Disney Springs. Raglan Road, Jock Lindsay's and Gideons are our favorite places.
I was wondering when the next video would be posted yesterday 🤣🤣 another great review!!! STK prices are ridiculous especially when comparing them to Steakhouse 71!
Absolutely outstanding overview as usual. Your videos have been the main source of info (and excitement!) for us as we build up to our trip in 3 weeks’ time. Big props for the amount of effort you put into all this, thank you! We’ll be staying on I-Drive opposite Icon Park - slightly off topic for your video, but do you have any recommendations for Icon Park restaurants or near there??
@@TheFrugalBrit Thanks for taking the time to reply, and thanks for the tips! Really appreciate it. It’s our first time over there since 2015 so I’m guessing quite a bit has changed. Keep doing what you do, it’s so helpful and entertaining!
Great video as always! Downtown Dis......err I mean Disney Springs has changed a bunch since we were last there. I doubt if even half of your top 20 list even existed then. I had only eaten at T-rex and for me it wouldn't have made the top 20, but we all have different taste and Cooke's of Dublin. As for the others, there were always places around WDW we wanted to eat at more. Cooke's has discontinued our favorites, they had little battered sausages {Raglan Road may still have them) and a battered hamburger that was to die for. Either one of those and a cup of the Dubliner cheese and bacon dip was fantastic. Also gone is what we considered to be the best counter service place on all of WDW property, Wolfgang Puck Express in the Marketplace, if you know you know. Very thorough guide to the new Downtown Dis...... opps there I go again, Disney Springs. Thanks!
Thank you Eric! Yes it took me a while to get used to the name chance. T-Rex was very lucky to make it in to the top 20! Wasn’t impressed with my last visit.
WooHoo! I was surprised to see a restaurant I've actually eaten at come in at #1 considering I've only been to Disney Springs once and it was four years ago lol. The food really was great. What an awesome dining experience.
Many things have changed 😃In June or July 2008 I've been with my family in Disney Downtown (Disney Springs) for the very 1st time.We met some friends from our german hometown there and had a dinner together at the Planet Hollywood.
FB .wow how this place has changed . Don’t remember it ever being so big . Had a coke on the roof coke bar myself . Great review . I expect nothing less 😊
Another top informative video, only a quick stop for us next time to erin mckenna bakery for the wife as she has coeliac and loves a doughnut. Looking forward to the next one 👍
Yeah I popped my head in to film it but never got anything from there. My Mrs is allergic to wheat so has a gluten free diet too. Will be taking her there on our next visit.
@The Frugal Brit - Orlando The Mrs got some stuff last year in there, said it was good. Have you found any good place to eat with the Mrs in Universal Resort?
I’ve been to Disney Springs and I still cannot grasp it all, I’d have to rewatch your vlog again. I tried Cooke’s fish and chips, tastier than my local chippy, but the fish portion was very small for what I paid.
Why oh why have we not have an equivalent in the UK 😢 love disney springs. With regards the Boathouse though, last visit we had great service, great food but the worst lounge bar style music I have ever heard...but it was so bad it actually made us laugh 😂 so perhaps others would give it retro marks lol this year we got FOC tickets for cirque so will give City Works a go and let you know what we find. Totally get the Rainforest comments when our children were young this was our go to place, and of course with my name got a kick out of Tracy tree (albeit the wrong spelling 😅)
Ah yes, last year we took our granddaughter (4) similar experience, it's such a pity as great atmosphere. Next year we have other grandchildren coming too, so will be looking for those child friendly/fun restaurants. This year it's just us as an older couple...lots of Dining and cocktails planned :)
People’s favourites will always be personal choice/budgets. However I absolutely agree that Planet Hollywood is an awful restaurant and would never be in my top twenty. I only go when I’m with visitors and I’ve let them choose or we haven’t booked. PH always has tables available. Great video. Always recommend your channel to friends coming out.
I so much preferred when it was Downtown Disney. It's become an enormous shopping tourist trap. Stores and shops jam packed end to end. It's basically an outdoor shopping mall.
Boathouse is a top restaurant, been there 3 times and never disappointed. Would like to hear your view on whether voodoo doughnuts @ city walk is better than everglazed at Disney springs? Gideons as you say never disappoints, had a key lime cake slice on last visit, highly recommend. Great video as always 👍🏻
Couldn’t agree more with your top 3. We go to homecomin on each visit, the food and potions are incredible! Those thigh high chicken biscuits with the Mac and cheese are different level. We tried Boathouse in September last year, it is definitely our new favourite. I’m glad to see Wine bar George rated so high, as it’s on our list, but disappointed to see city works so low. I was really hoping the food would be decent, as I love to sample some of the beer flights I’m Orlando. We still might give it a go. How would you compare it to NBC bar and grill? I will watch this vlog many times before our trip. Thanks again.👍🏴
I’m looking forward to go there, but you skipped one store, the M&Ms shop. I would pick T rex as my number 1, while the top 10 my last. Hope you can also show us new videos of Mickeys not so spooky Halloween party and about the Disney pins.
Love this and completely agree on Boathouse being number 1! The lobster roll gives you a good amount of lobster for a reasonable price, the city I live in has lobster rolls for the same price but a disappointing amount, plus Boathouse's quality in seafood is so good. I have to disagree on Wine Bar George, I was very disappointed in the food & the variety, they charged $10 for warm olives and the entrees are lackluster compared to the other options you can get in the area
This is a great guide for Disney Springs. I can't believe so many people skip it on their trips to Disney World. Great shopping, evening entertainment and some of the best restaurants on property! Thanks Frugal! 😁
Loved Boathouse when we were on the Dining Plan… but looking at the prices now, that lobster roll (which is pretty small) comes in at over $40… feels a bit rich.
Call me an old fogey, but I’ll never forgive Disney for shutting down Pleasure Island!! Still miss Comedy Warehouse and Especially the sublime Adventurers Club (and a hearty “Kungaloosh!” to anyone else who fondly remembers this place too!)
