    This. Is odd.
Couldn’t Geoff get a pilot’s license or something?

Like Chris got his pilots license? Yeah, good point. This is what I wrote above. "It's not a move that earlier Queensryche would have done with Chris. This is a bad attempt at trying to re-gain their ground and loosing their identity in the process. The 1980's Queensryche was against using women / exploitation and objectification. Furthermore, having both Tate's wife, daughter and Scott's wife. Kind of sick when you think about it. I couldn't imagine parading my daughter around while making lustful slurs to her.

But then, Chris saw the writing on the wall and knew that his integrity, his family, or his friendships with the bandmates wasn’t worth going through a slow descent for. In 1997, you couldn’t go back to 1991…Not to mention he would have never went a long with a Cabaret act. Chris was the anchor, leader, and voice of reason of QR. Without him, Geoff went adrift and ran amok. Almost sunk the band into the ground, and I think he realizes that a lot of it was his fault )which is why he pines to go back in some occasions).
I saw one radio show where Geoff said that his stepdaughter had a “Gynecologist” appt, which was why she wasn’t there in the interview. Strange.

@@paisleyprincess7996 Yes, Chris probably had it out with tate the most at first and just got out before it got worse and it sure fuckin did, haha.

And people thought this was a good idea...? To each their own, I guess, but to me this is just testament to the fact that wives need to NOT insert themselves into their husbands' bands.

Yes- and it was this bitch, Tate's second wife, who managed and messed up the Queensryche company. I can't imagine parading both my daughter and wife around in the nude while I sang and lusted to the both of them, along with the other girls (Scott's wife). They were both former strippers. What a damn shame and a mess.

A band that evolves continuously is a band that are in the minds of its fans, like I am.

this IS "stepping it up". they have always been a 'theatrical' band, this is just a different form or way of doing it. laser light shows and such have been done to death, i bet you remember this more. Geoff hasn't sounded this good in 15 years! although 'Tribe' is one of my favorites out of all of them. i applaud this decision.

This wasn't bad at all, Queensryche must evolve. It ain't taking anything away from metal, is just different IMO.
