I see that you have found the best song ever composed!! Deep Purple is the best of the best!!!
no digas tonterias, esta es una obra de arte,ok...pero hay otras obras de arte mejor que esta....
I love the spiritual energy of Deep Purple.
👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
So do I !
definitely right they do have it in most of their song
one of the best British rock bands ever
The Mighty "Deep Purple" started my "Metal Journey" Decades ago!!
Same here!!!!!
mine was in 1973/4. What a great journey. Deep Purple. Rainbow. Gillian. Whitesnake. Ronny James Dio. Etc..,
The birth of metal: Child in Time, Hocus Pocus and Warpigs
Yes the instant I put In Rock on my GE Wildcat Stereo and Speed King busted out of the speakers I never looked back. Deep Purple gave me passion for Hard Rock. I went down the Rabbit Hole and songs like Child In Time, Flight Of The Rat, Living Wreck and the whole Album is still my favorite Studio Album ever.
Mine too, my Friend !!!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥✌🏻🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
The crowd does not realize that they’re listening to one of the greatest live performances of all time
They do, but were told to stay calm. This was recorded for a TV show and they didnt want the recording been disturbed by the audience.
Their being polite and were told to be quiet during the performance for BBC TV
THE GREATEST live performance of all time.
@@alexced4892 I’ll accept that
Amen
This is real music.
Saw Deep Purple they are even better live. I was seated 10 rows back .....awesome
Ian Gillian really showcases his amazing voice in this tune. Plus having some fun with that face gesture.
Gillan...not Gillian.
@@TheSeventyfour74 ok mr perfect
@@davidlitchke4964 thanks 😊
I think the camera guy got too close, lol
The masterpiece from Deep Purple!!! True music!!! True rock n´roll baby!!!
Haha!💗
Ian Paice. One of the best left handed jazz drummers around in rock
Absolutely beautiful reaction to this legendary song
Magistrale brano di Ian ghilan.magistrale da brividi.brano storico che io ascolto da 54 anni. Dainese Aldo di anni 74 italo.
Just another tune from DEEP PURPLE to show that they are the greatest hard rock band ever !!!!! Got to see them a few years ago with the two IAN'S , PAICE and GILLAN , fantastic show !!!
👍🏽 🇬🇧
And the awesome Steve Morse on Guitar.
True true and more true rock on 🤘
Ian Gillan, the singer, was also the singer on the original concept album that led to the musical "Jesus Christ Superstar". If you liked this, his song "Gethsemane", which takes place when Jesus understands that he has to die, will blow you away. I would suggest you compare it to Ted Neeley's version from the film musical. Both absolutely incredible. I actually saw Ted Neeley a couple of years ago. Well into his seventies, and he can still hit THAT note.
Man, that "come n walk on my swimmingpool" is some special favourite of mine
Watching facial expressions of the reactions - priceless!!!
Ian, what a magnificent talent
The best rock song ever written - performed by 5 master musicians.
Best of the best of the best...
Great, Great, Great 🤩👍🏿
Great reaction again, , keep it up girl!
Wow! We have a heavy rocker girl here!!!!!😍😍😘😘👍👍
The best band in the world!!!
God damn what a band
Have always loved Deep Purple!! Brings back many young Pa memories! Loved watching you enjoy this!!!
Congratulations on your next milestone in subscriptions ❤️💪
What can one say about this piece of music? It takes you, transports you, moves you. What a stupendous group/band. Loved them back in the 70's...still love and listen in my 70's.
@David Heisch same here. I’m 70 and saw DP mark4 in concert in 1974. This lineup is mark2 and is the best lineup IMHO. No computers or any other stuff used, just pure talent.
Wow a beautiful lady in red...very nice and a cool reaction
Deep purple yesssssss ,so many awesome songs
Rockanrooolll!!!
Ian Gillan's vocals are off the charts!
In addition to Deep Purple, he also sang the title role in the original 1970 London cast version of the Jesus Christ Superstar album.
Great Reaction.
This was for a TV Show and the audience were asked to stay calm.
I have NEVER in over 60 years of watching music, seen such a contrast between the On Stage vibe and the audience reaction but that was why😀
Amazing how young they are. Ritchie Blackmore just starting out. Love your reaction. Please never stop smiling. It is so beautiful.
Baby girl, you get more beautiful every day. And I love, love, love your music reactions. The joy on your face is infectious. Love and hugs, Morenikeji.
I loved watching them do this song live at no more than 30 foot away from where I was situated at one of their gigs back in the 70's..... They truly were one of the most stunning bands I've ever seen & I've seen more live bands than most folk ever do.
Uriah Heep - July Morning
You're welcome.
Your eyes are just amazing.
Awesome song, Deep Purple is a great hard rock band. I love how they let the music flow. Songs like this were in protest against war, in particular this was against the Vietnam war. It's horrible how war takes its toll on people and their mental health. These songs are timeless and they remind us how deep humans can go in grief, sorrow and pain. This was a great song and I enjoyed your reaction, as always.
Gillan has repeatedly said he wrote it about the Cold War, not Vietnam.
@@psbarrow
Okay, I was wrong. Either way it was about some kind of war.
Awesome. I'm hoping this path will continue and even help you find The Doors as well.
Hello baby girl.
Congrats with your almost 50K subscribers.
A think a lot of people a proud of you.
I am♥️👍
About Deep Purple. The intro on the Hammond organ by John Lord R.I.P. (Deep Purple)
was inspired from the song Bombay Calling from the American band It's a Beautiful Day.
Keep uploading more and you go ahead for the 50K.!!!!!!!!🎉🎉🎉
Love you much
Leon♥️♥️♥️♥️
Yes the audience was so calm. I think they weren't ready for this. You were ready 👍🏻. Love your reaction.
Disfruta que yo la llevo disfrutando desde hace 43 años.
Sensacional y cuanto más la escuches más te gustará.
Toda la discografía de DEEP PURPLE es inigualable.
No autotune pure talent
SMOKE ON THE WATER-LIVE by Deep Purple is for you,l ovely Lady
Listening to masterpieces like this, I always feel that all the best music was already created during 1950-1990. What was after, it's just interpretation of that heritage.
I may be wrong but the fact remains - no one write epic pieces like that today.
And just to think about it, they didn't have any computers back in the day. Amazing.
First of all... You are Beautiful !! Your eyes told the story, and you seemed to hang on every note and lyric. I can see why it took 8-days to respond to this video. I've been listening to it since 1970 and still can't fully explain. Wonderful band and every member is a virtouso. Keep up the good work !!
Love watching your expressions sad or happy 😊
Ah, my favourite reactor reacts to my favourite band - more please?
Hi Mo, bit of classic Deep Purple & such powerful vocals from Ian Gillan! Great band to see live and so glad to see your moves & enjoyment ( how audience sat there like statues is beyond me! ). Some other songs to try that have not already been mentioned are Woman from Tokyo, Highway Star & Fireball. Keep smiling beautiful and your looks great by the way!
That was the 'classic' line up of that band. They had different members over the years, but this original line up played again in the 1990s.
You should hear the 1990s live version of Child In Time (from Come Hell or High Water) on RUclips.
Hey gorgeous, great choice of songs. This is my favorite version of this tune. The studio version is great, but watching them perform it makes it amazing.
Sweet Mo in time!❤️💔💙 It is He who has made us righteous. 😇❤️
The strong emotions of this song is a great example of Isaiah 35:5
Isaiah 53:5
Great Selection!
Congratulations
And again... i love, how you hear Musik, whit so many Emotion. ❤
Mo, as always your expressions are what get to me!! It's so cool that you enjoy 50 year old progressive and hard rock songs!! So many other great songs from Deep Purple during this early 70's period (their peak, in my opinion) await your hearing and your amazing faces 🙂. I'm sure enough of them are listed in the comments to keep you busy choosing. Peace.
Deep Purple considered the founder of heavy metal . Concerto for group and Orchestra performed by DP and the Philharmonic.
This is Such a beautiful song reflecting the times of the Vietnam War. This was considered sort of a soft protest towards it.
Ian gillens voice stretched five octaves.
Great song from a great band, and most of the audience were probably stoned. 😂 love the channel, love your reactions to new (for you) music. Have a listen to Lacuna coil sometime.
I love the Deep Purple In Rock as a whole and can't pick a favourite from the album. I can relate and connect to Child In Time. So, so many brilliant Deep Purple songs. When A Blind Man Cries, Woman From Tokyo, Smoke On The Water, Knocking At Your Back Door.
One of my favorite songs from them is River Deep Mountain High. I first heard the song in the late 80s.
WOW, music is so rhythmic to your beauty. you make watching music videos n your lovely smile AWESOME. Please keep up the great work.
We would listen to Deep Purpleall the time in the student lounge!!! They were soooooo cool, and I still love them and your reaction Mo! Thank you so much, and stay well 👍🏻👍🏻😁❤️!
An absolute masterpiece with all the band members at full skills level! It's wonderful to see your first time reaction, it's like feeling it again! I believe that all the audience were calm because the tv personnel told them so... but in anyway I think it'd be impossible for me!!! I believe the lyrics are about Vietnam war. The keyboardist, Jon Lord, a true maestro, sadly flew away from this world, I really miss his music!!! Try to listen "Jon Lord - The Best Keyboard Solos Compilation" and he'll blow your mind!
Jon Lord is my absolute number 1 artist in the world, your kind words mean a lot to me
@@jordanfonque8617 I've only cried with 3 musicians death: George Harrison, Ronnie James Dio and Jon Lord. He was amazing in all the senses...
Hi from Australia
I have a great laugh watching you trying to educated your sister on good music. You will 'win her over yet'! Keep smiling and I want to tell you about some great Aussie tunes to check out"
1. Australian Crawl "Downhearted"
2. Richard Clapton "Girls on the Avenue"
All the best.
Hi Morenikeji. This is the Best music ever from Deep Purple ! I’ve got 2 albums with this number it’s Stunning ! The voice the music I’m a big Fan ! I see you enjoy this song! It’s a song you never forget ! I love your beautiful reaction , and your hair is still beautiful! So nice to see ! Thanks for your choice and a lot of Love from Holland ! 👏🫶👍😘👍🇳🇱
I love ❤ your reaction so much! Can't wait to watch more! 😍
Good you also noticed the very calm audience. Remember that was in 1971-1972 I think and people by then they were not used to wild and loud rock. Deep Purple was called the loudest hard rock band. So the audience just listened to it intensily like as if an alien space craft landed in front of them. They didn´t know how to act. And by the way thank you for being so beautiful and real for us every time. I appreciate it very much
I love your joyful beauty. More please
Congratulations on the growing subscriptions👏🏽
You should do a reaction on this young British-South African girl. Her name Nandi Bushell. An amazing drummer playing with the Foo Fighters. Love your reactions
Deep Purple and Black Sabbath are the roots of Heavy Metal. This is where it all began! Ive seen them both Live and its real hard to say which I liked better! When I seen Deep Purple was their reunion tour in the early 80`s, promoting "A Perfect Stranger" tour. Seen Sabbath with Blue Oyster Cult!
I saw both in 1984 in Vancouver. Definitely like Purple better but Sabbath (post Ozzy) were good too.
Hi reactor 👍🏾❤️ you are a very very good reactor 👍🏾❤️ And i hope you get 100.000 subs👍🏾🌍The Deep Purple song (Child in time) is about the war in Vietnam 1968 when USA Napalm bombing vietnames familys in the jungle.🌍👀 This was on TV news everyday in sweden 👀🌍 it was so crazy.🌍👀 The last thing this burning familys as running burning in the jungle saw was a guy as filming them to show it on the TV news???👎🌍 The (Blind man) as Ian Gillian singing about is the US President Nixon.🌍👀 And the audience sitting calm in there because of the respect for all this innocence vietnames familys as was burned alive in there home 🌍👀 Thank you for a good reaction on Deep Purple (child in time)❤️🇸🇪❤️🇳🇬❤️🇸🇪 i was 8 year old when i saw this on the TV news everyday.🌍👀 It was Crazy 🌍👀🌍👀
One of best song ever !
Epic song one of the best
Fantastic reaction to a classic rock song! Back in the late '60s/early '70s, most of us just sat or stood around and, at most, swayed to the music (like this audience, except this was mixed with unusual demographics for a rock concert!). I personally prefer to boogie, like you Morenikeji!!!
Best of the best..R e R...
No, No, No is also a great song from this album "IN ROCK".... Ian Gillian knocks this one out of the park!!!!!
His name's Gillan not Gillian, and "No No No" was on the "Fireball" album, not "In Rock".
Hello my favourite baby girl! 💗 I knew you wouldn't be able to keep still to this one 😂 Btw - it was kind of normal to just sit there for such songs in 1970 (especially in England - we don't let much emotion out! haha) The keyboard player Jon Lord, is one of the all-time greats, so I'm not surprised you picked up on his superb playing. Another band of the time who had an amazing keyboard player was ELP (Emerson Lake and Palmer). It is so wonderful to see you enjoying so much in your videos! You'll soon be hitting 50,000 subscribers!! 💖 Is it true that you are going to dance like you did on the Santana video, when you reach 50,000? 🤔👍 Take care and lots of love 😘😘
Fantastic 🌹
Deep purple are legends, but too 70s for my
Personal tastes (born in 77), but there's no denying that this was a magical time in music for many bands great seeing you Mo and another banger!
Every one of their live performances sounded different. My favorite for this song is from the "Made in Japan" live album. No video, but the songs are awesome. I really love that version of "Strange Kind of Woman" and "Lazy".
Oh, you must do "Stange Kind of Woman" from that album. You'll hear things never heard before and won't ever again.
Made In Japan is the Measure of what a live performance and Album should sound like. It absolutely kicks your ass from start to finish.
It amazes me how some younger people, not all, are in awe of raw talent, obtained from years of practice, this is how it was before this age of instant gratification, where auto tune can make a mouse fart sound like a symphony orchestra. THIS was the 1970's and REAL MUSIC 🎵🎵... WELCOME and ENJOY!!!
haha this song builds and blows people away...just crazy though the crowd at this presentation is underwhelmed lol .... sign of the times and venue.
Hi Mo. Congrats on your number of subscribers. I grew up in the nineteen seventies listening to Deep Purple and have loved them ever since. Your reactions are a delight to watch. You would probably enjoy the Status Quo song Caroline as you are now a proper rock fan! Try to get one of the live versions if you can asthey always sound more energetic.
Loving your work, keep it going!!!
Try Smoke On The Water by them Mo!!
Yeah, looks pretty much like my reaction to this song !
Yes, this is what music used to do to you. First record I ever bought was Deep Purple "Black Knight", second was Black Sabbath's "Paranoid". Deep Purple, Led Zeppellin, Black Sabbath, Iron Maiden, Judas Priest.... Just so many bands who could play music like this. Enjoyed how as the song picked up, you really "got it". 👍
That is such great news Mo about 50,000 subscribers 😁😁😁👍🏻👍🏻😁! So happy for you!! You deserve it !!! Your reactions are heart felt😁!
Hey Mo, Once again I totally enjoyed your very expressive reaction to this incredible song. Nobody does it better! Even your "guitar face" is beautiful;)
My dad used to play music like this all the time when we had our (kinda traditional) sundaymorning breakfast, and sooner or later this song started to play. Back in the days as a little toddler I didn´t understand what to make of it. Now I´m 40 years old and I´m jamming to this all the time when I hear this.
Besides, 3:19 to 5:06 - YES that long stretch - this is what I call purest and honest reaction! Seriously I was wayting for just THAT!
formidable meme apres 50 ans d ecoute de cette chanson.
Loved your reactions! 💜
I'm so glad you picked this 1970 live version. It's my favourite, way above the album version (though that's also great). I've heard that back in the day, TV audiences were instructed not to react much until the end of the songs when on camera. Though here I suppose they were all moved to stunned silence and tears, as I was when I first heard it.
In 1970 there was not only the Vietnam War (which Gillan composed this in protest against) but among other sad things the Kent State Massacre, where the Ohio National Guard fired into a group of unarmed students in a peaceful anti-war demonstration, tragically wounding dozens and killing four: three demonstrators and one passerby who was just walking to class when a stray bullet hit. 😢 It's a timeless classic that is sadly relevant to every war or crazed shooting incident ever.
The album version may not have been released as a single, or it didn't get much air play due to it's length. Slow buildups and beat changes/ progressions were very common at the time. They felt like chapters in a narrative. Songs had time to breath and take listeners along on the journey. I miss that in today's Pop/Rock music!
I've heard that Deep Purple, Black Sabbath and Led Zeppelin were considered the founders of Heavy Metal, but maybe you knew that already.
Thanks for a great review! 👏😁 I've liked and subbed!
PS: Fun fact: Ian Gillan sang the role of Jesus on the original "Jesus Christ, Superstar" album.
You should check out their song -Smoke On The Water ( Live).
💗
Your reaction made me smile so much! I'm 55 and have been listening to this song since I was around 5 or 6. Still a big influence on my life, but I just want to say, it's wonderful when someone like you hears and feels it .
God bless you!
It's an anti war song and expresses the pain of the war and what it did to a bunch of men afterwards. If you look back at how soldiers were treated after the war you'll see them being booed and spit on when they came home.
I landed in San Francisco along with a plane load of military men coming from Vietnam, getting of the plane we were met with protestors calling us names and throwing garbage at us .
Did they get stomped? :D
When you meet at Viet Nam vet, don't say thank you for your service, say welcome home.
Thanks , memmories 🤔😥😥 , i survived mi youth thanks to this song . I still gett stronger listening to it . Il been lisening to your reaktion several times ( sorry mi bad English) . Again thanks mi 👸🦸♀️💃⚘🕊 , 🙂🤗🤗🤗🤗🙋♂️ from 🧙♂️☃️🙋♂️. God night mi Lovely african reaktor, simma lugnt 🏊♂️
Wow, this goes back a minute. Love it.
Hey baby girl, try some Jimi Hendrix.
Hah, everybody gets the stunned awestruck look on their face at the end, when they devolve into the carefully orchestrated cacophony... It seems utterly insane on first listen, until it dawns on you how artfully and skillfully it is done. These guys were all true virtuosos on their instruments, what a treat that we can watch this epic music being made.
Hats off to the audience for quietly enjoying it so that we have this fine recording of it without a bunch of noisy self-indulgent whooping and hollering etc. to ruin it.
Hi Morenikeji . I’m very happy that you choose this number from Deep Purple ! I love this song very much , it’s the Best number from the band ! And you now why ? The speed in this number is Stunning ! Thanks for your Excellent choice! And I Love your Beautiful hairstyle and also your reaction ! Lot’s of Love from Holland and a Big Kiss 💋! 👏🙋🏼♂️😘🫶👍🇳🇱
After all this time, this song still touches me like very few things ever have, and it was wonderful to see your reaction... you just discovered a masterpiece played by titans.
At the time, nobody came even close to Deep Purple.
Hi Mo, Ian Gillian at his best, I loved tis when I heard it in the 80's and have ever since.
I didn't know at the time, its a statement about the Vietnam war, which was going on when this was written.
Its brilliant, you need to listen to more Deep Purple.
I love your reaction, Mo and the way you went away, thought about it before commenting, its a thought provoking song!
❤❤
It's Gillan, not Gillian, and he's repeatedly said he wrote it about the Cold War, not Vietnam.
Hello Ms. Morenikeji, this one is perhaps not one to bring many back and try another Deep Purple song. Even though many of us feel this is possibly one of their best jams. So I hope you consider trying: Hush__Highway Star__Smoke On The Water__Burn.
Thank you for your reaction !
Gods Blessings be with you !
