I had to stop the video to come make a 😂lol comment. After speaking about drawing arrows and circles to point out items being highlighted, you saying, “what about it Ken?” Then the very next question was asking what the blue grass in the picture was, Ken went crazy with circles and arrows! I did get a huge kick out of that! Love your sense of humor!! High five 🖐️ you guys!!!😂😂😂

I often play the highlights videos in my earbuds outside when I’m gardening (even when I’ve already watched them each multiple times). Aaron has a point about the soothing nature of Laura’s voice (and Aaron’s too!) and it’s even better when it’s on theme for the work I’m doing in the garden. I’d love to have them in podcast form because sometimes I have wifi connection issues when trying to stream the videos (depending on what area of the garden I’m in) but could even download the podcast ahead of time so I don’t think it would be as much of an issue that way! Great idea!

The dye used by the city of Chicago is a vegetable dye that does not harm fish or plant life in the Chicago River. It was researched before it could be used for St. Patrick's Day. Decades ago the dye used was probably toxic but not now. The EPA frowns upon anyone putting toxic chemicals into waterways since the Chicago River does flow into Lake Michigan and anything toxic would get into the drinking water.

Recap can definitely work audio only. It’s usually listened to by ppl who have seen the video that is being commented on. If I haven’t seen the video but the questions draw me in i go back and watch the ones I missed.

While I'm sad to miss out on Ken's visual humor, I already listen to this as a podcast. I listen to the recap show when I'm cooking or cleaning around the kitchen. I usually watch the videos so I have most of the visuals in my head already. I definitely second using the audio file as a podcast.

Dallas friends, Surburban Plants in Mesquite now sells Land and Sea Compost for around $12 a bag. He said the sales rep said they are the only ones in DFW that carry it. So excited to have a resource close to me!! I think it’s in the $25 range on Amazon. No one else ships to the Dallas area, not even Tru Value.

Just wanted to say people might be interested in the podcast format - I am a long term subscriber and find Laura’s voice very soothing + the garden talk very relaxing (so much so that often I watch the videos/listen to them just before I go to sleep, helps me clear my mind) so if anyone else is like me, a podcast for just the audio is a great idea. Thanks for your videos! Cat

Good Morning Laura and Aaron. I was very excited to FINALLY see my local (zone 9) garden center Warrens had Espoma Land and Sea. It was $12.99 a bag and I quickly picked up 2. I had been asking them about it since last year. I just may get more but I wanted to leave some for other Gardner’s.
