There is no such difference between arranged marriage and love marriage. It's all about the individual, the person you marry, in laws, your attitude and many more. Some people think if it's love marriage it's easy. Love or arranged if both are mature enough to support each other it will go smoothly.
@@leaveit979 marriages are never easy. But in love marriage, unless you're blind, you get a bigger n better chance to understand your partner n his/ her family, in comparison with arranged ones. Freedom to choose to or not to marry this person is more, provided you're not a blind lover. Majority of arranged marriages start with a "chaya kodukkal."
I don't think girls/ boys get so much of freedom here, as the family involvement is huge.

@@etceterastories1530 I was waiting for someone to comment this, as expected it, that in love marriage you get know guys parents and so on. Well, most relationship shows their best side while in relationship. The main problem most people have is with in laws; even when people are in love they only get to meet their in laws when they plan to get married and it is usually kind of chaya kodukal. And in India marriages happen the same way, arranged or love. If you love someone it's still you tell you parents after that the parents and in laws interfere and society enters the scene. If the girls is not strong when a problem comes in marriage parents and in laws decides everything. I have seen many marriages, love or arranged if they decide to separate then the society intervenes. So, it not about what happens before marriage, what happens after marriage. I just want to say even if it is love marriage unless our mentality change nothing changes. In India after marriage, everything is same.

Happy. മക്കളുടെ സന്തോഷം കാണേണ്ടത് ആണ്. സ്കൂള് കോളജ് എല്ലാം അടിച്ചു പൊളിച്ച് അവർ പോകുന്നു. ആർക്കും ദൂരെ പോകണ്ട. ജോലി കഴിഞ്ഞ് മക്കളും വീട് എത്തുന്നു. ഇത് കേരള style അല്ല. Outside Kerala style. കേരളത്തിലും ഈ method try ചെയ്തു നോക്കാം. Parents തനിയെ ആകില്ല. നമ്മുടെ മക്കളും safe. Independent too.
