    • @jerryp2790
      @jerryp2790 Месяц назад +1

      No lol it’s not the best cinema in the country. None of them definitively are. All the big industries of India specialize differently. there are definitely a lot of fantastic Malayalam movies and the same goes for Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and even Kannada is exploding and on the rise lately. Malayalam cinema definitely is the best when it comes to indie-style and film festival-esque movies. In any given year in the last 10 years or so the best movies have been coming from India’s industries. for example 2019 both Gully Boy (Hindi) and Kumbalangi Nights (Malayalam) were the best, if only they had the marketing in the west that Parasite got

No. and Don’t act like Hindi Film Industry doesn’t have plenty of fantastic stories. Laapataa Ladies was one of the best movies by any industry all year too.

    The fact that these guys rated this movie above dune 2 shows the levels of quality of Malayalam movie. The industry is so underrated. Kerala is a small South Indian state with over 34 million malayalam speakers and the movies get these small feed of croud compared to Hollywood and others. On top of that people of kerala is so picky when it comes to movies and they are honest in opinions resulting in big star movies flop and small movies with quality goes hit. I think that promotes movie makers to make great films and Malayalam industry is now being one of the best in world cinema ❤.

    Don’t know about US but this was released in theatre’s in Australia but only in areas where there is a high Indian population. Of course there wasn’t any promo here. Honestly the theatre experience makes the movie 100x more fun especially the music and scoring. Though I wish I was able to watch it with a larger audience like in Kerala cause the hype would have been amazing. There was hype here too, with people cheering during Fahad’s entrance, fight scenes, laughter but not as fun as in Kerala. The subtitles were done really well too so I brought my non-Malayalee friends to watch it.

    This year alone there are big competition for film making in Malayalam industry.
    Manjumal boys
    Baramhayugam
    The goat life
    All have excellent film making in different ways.
    In my opinion, the tightest film making was Bramhayugam, a film completely in black and white.

      @@a__8903 Call it what you like but Mollywood is not wrong. I dont see no Tamil people calling kollywood "Tamil film industry" 😂. Why does it matter if it means the same thing? who are these "many people like me"? its just a simpler word for Malayalam Film Industry or whatever you wanna call it. Mollywood is generally used just like kollywood, tollywood etc.

      I don’t think a character like Ranga suits Leo, he for sure could play it but he definitely wouldn’t be my first option. Cillian Murphy for one, would totally suit that character and we know Cillian would rock as a character like Ranga!

    It was so good to watch you two getting entangled in an alien language movie. Welcome to Malayalam(Mul-ah-yeah-luhm) , the cream of Indian movie industries. We don't have big budget extravagant movies like in other Indian industries, but we make it work. You earned a new subscriber for the reaction..😎

    Jithu Madhavan, the Director of this movie, this is his 2nd movie only. His first movie also was a blockbuster based on a true story. Music is done by the same guy, Sushin Shyam and its epic. The movie name is "Romancham" meaning Goosebump. Its so hilarious and really there will be goosebumps when you watch it.
