00:00 Introduction
01:12 Part 1
20:44 Part 2 - Развлечения
This is so unsettling. The fact that it's based off of true events makes it that much more scary. Caving is absolutely terrifying.
Would you believe some cavers actually cut through the fence they put up after the real incident? They had to blow the entrance and cement it to keep more morons from doing it again.
Omgoodness!! I was literally just about to comment that this isn't just a creepy pasta, it is based on true events!! 🥺😥Like 90 percent just the facts... it really was beyond a tragedy... it seems like someone wrote this imagining the events of the tragedy through the experience of the rescuers... the true events is almost as scary as the tale the author wove... They tried so hard to save that kid, even after he lost consciousness... it's no wonder it inspired the author!!
When the story hit the news it was terrifying, the idea of being trapped like that!!
But as always, you knocked it out of the park!! From the sound scape, with those creepy echoing type sounds... to the personalities of the characters... your narration truly is unmatched doc!!
I'm so glad to hear your feeling a bit more like yourself!! Sending prayers!! 🙏🥰🥰🥰
Probably mixed a little with Floyd Collins... Your comment made me look up John's case and then a reddit forum about it mentioned Floyd. Apparently, he tried to convince the guy to stay in the cave with him as it collapsed because he didn't want to die alone.
Absolute nightmare fuel I have genuine chest pain from anxiety reading this shit 😢
@DemonSoul89420 It was so sad... the nation was in shock, I just can't imagine the trauma of his family, friends, gf/wife? I can't remember if they were married... But it seemed like it stretched on forever, and those guys really did give it everything they had trying to get him out... but it was such a tight spot in the cave, and then the "tunnel" he was stuck in, and the type of rock they were dealing with... it really narrowed their options. It was barely wide enough for even their small guys to get their shoulders in.... and then the added pressure of the fact that he was head down... it really does take a special breed of human to not just WANT to explore caves n stuff... but the women and men that risk their lives going into unknown dangers to save people... theyre such hero's... i truly cant imagine the trauma those people carried with them the rest of their lives!!....
but it wasn't until after he had passed, during and after the operation to retrieve his body that they were able to examine everything and figure out why everything went so badly.... and honestly it's just no wonder the story inspired the author... it truly was like they were fighting unseen forces!!
Cave stories always give me claustrophobia
Thanks for the heads-up 😱, I'll have to give this a miss 😢
Love that thumbnail! Makes me nostalgic for the Bruce Coville young adult horror books from when I was little!
Oh a marvelous story Doc! Your writer did their homework, what a scary tragedy nutty putty was. Love Utah stories. (Caw!)
When I heard the lines when John was upside down it dawned on me, this was the real life version. That cold creep up the spine was all my memory needed as a jog back to that newspaper headline. Good work sir this narration was stellar
Dr Creepen, you have the perfect voice for the reading of poetry.
Great story as usual, thanks.
Thank you kindly!
My thoughts exactly
I've been to the Real Nutty Puddy cave years ago before it was closed off.
Hello 👋
You’re a wild one, the pics I’ve seen make me claustrophobic
Have you been IN it or just to it? That’s the huge distinguishing factor here. Cuz if you’ve been in it, then you, are a heck of a lot braver than I am
your narrator skills are truly remarkable
This was sad. Brought back memories of that young man who died in Nutty Putty cave. But. It was an accident and the young man was a Christian who had his faith with him as he passed. It's just another reason why even experienced cavers can get caught unaware. Please be careful out there. God bless you all. Thanks for the story.
I completely agree! Whenever him and Dark Somnium collab I get so excited. The two best if you ask me
I live in Utah and I remember this. I DO NOT do the cave thing. Scares me......ALOT !!!
Okay, Nutty Putty? Now I *have* to watch this xD
My exact reaction! Rare to see a more niche, real topic like this on the Doctor’s channel
Small tunnel horror story?! Awww hell nooo!! 😢
RIP to the man who actually passed at Nutty Putty 😔
What an awful death 😢
An incredibly creepy true story, so let’s hear what the Doctor’s twist is on this one! Once I saw the name of this one I knew it would be listened to tonight
I remember the nutty putty cave from my high school days
❤😮😮😢❤ I am very claustrophobic!
The crazy thing is that this story is true. A caver died at nutty putty just like this. There are videos on it. Sad but true story.
My dad used to be paid to dig caves, hundreds of feet under the earths surface, the government used to reward him with cash for digging them deep tunnels, he was a coal miner bsck in the day when all coal mines were run by the NCB (national coal board) he told me some creepy tales.
friday night with the Doc
Hiya Dr. Having to play catchup. The only good thing is that I have more to listen to. Bad news lol I've missed listening. THANK YOU for all you do ❤
Hello 👋
Well with your voice, it makes it even BETTER ❤
Exactly my Sweetlicious friend:) be safe OK 💋 much love Sexy Grandma Darkness ✌🏼❤️
What a pleasure to hear your voice. Totally relaxing like a dear trusted friend. Thank you so much. You don’t know just how much I needed to hear your voice again. Remember how you at one time told the audience how to relax from head to toe. I wish you could do that more often. I totally relaxed to that. Love your videos. You r the very best.
EXCITED FOR THIS!!! have been a caving enthusiast since age 8. Almost switched my undergrad from behavioral science to karst bc of it!❤😵
Cave story's are nightmare fuel one of my phobias
This was an outstanding story tonight. Your narration was excellent. Thank you 🤗 🌟 ❤️
Glad you enjoyed it :)
Thank you Dr creepens for a cavelicious Friday night
🎉be safe everyone ok 💋 much love Sexy Grandma Darkness ✌🏼❤️
Hi Sexy Grandma
@@paulcateiii hi there my Sweetlicious friend:) how are you doing today? I'm good😉 be safe OK 💋 much love Sexy Grandma Darkness ✌🏼❤️
Of the decade is a pretty high bar, let's see if it holds up.
Actually from a true story. Was sad. Great job. Loves to you and yours 💓
Thank you so much!
I guess ghost spray won't fix this problem? 🤪 Also, the ghost on the thumbnail is super cute!
Yeah, no freaking way. Absolutely not. I say no good sir, no, no, no. Definitely a terrifying tale. Great narration!
Wow I was really on the edge of my bed, fantastic Doc 😮
Damn this was so good that is a creepy twist thanks
Didnt someone get stuck upside-down in the 'birth canal ' section of nutty putty, a very narrow tunnel, unfortunately they didn't make it.
Yes. He’s actually still in there. They sealed off the entrance to the cave, as it’s now his grave.
@@justsayin1991 that is so sad, it must have been horrific for him, I remember bits of the report, wasn't he a doctor or something?
I've been to Nutty Putty, it's not that far from me. Sad story IRL
Can stories lowkey give me the most anxiety
Nutty putty?
As a glazier with a mental health issue. This title intrigues me. 🤔🤪😂
Wow Doc AMAZING poet! Did you know it? Lol sorry corny pun but seriously awesome poetry and im new to your narrations but completely enthralled! Your voice adds much depth and keeps me coming back for non stop marathons for last 3 days during every hour im awake! Unfortunately im insomniac but your story narrations are so entertaining now i don't WANT to sleep lol yay insomnia!!!!😂😂😂😂❤❤🎉🎉🎉🎉

great and terrifying at the same time!! gotta love the dr! off to listen to blood hill now….
My next Dr tale too 😅
RIP, John Jones 💜
How do you read the algorithm so well its creepy.
This author wrote Tunda! It's my 3rd favorite creepypasta of all time!!
Tunda’s one I don’t hear mentioned often. Glad you like it.
@shadowswimmer8361 One of the best short stories I've ever read and heard. The fact that you've acknowledged my comment means more to me than if an A-list celebrity or world leader were to do the same!
Jon jones
I don't even like having a mri xray scan😮
If this is indeed based on true events, it must be the one I remember. Horrible end.🥺
I was aware of what happened in Nutty Putty cave before listening to this story.
I'm confused by the story. Is this a reoccurring nightmare of Jasper's?
The atory mentioned that the entrance to the cave was sealed. The flashback to Jasper talking to his therapist mentioned that the he had been in therapy for almost 10 years by the time he was considering taking the job.
Based on these facts we can assume that the cave had been sealed long before the event surrounding Ben. At the end of the story it alludes that Ben, like John, had died as well. But it seemed to me that the whatever was really going on had gone back to the beginning.
Sorry for being that person to pick apart a good story.
That's more or less true story, not just fiction
Confused me a bit towards the end, after jasper bumped his head the story seemed to jump but all made sense at the end.
I hate sad endings 😢
It’s been a while since I last visited one of your videos…. 😢
Looks like I’ve been missing out on some stellar stories, too.
- I got a lot of catching up to do, so, I apologize in advance if you get bombarded with a bunch of “like” & “comment” notifications. 😅
Ditto lol
😎👍
Sorry I've been missing you lately Doc. Some of the stories really started getting too political and too close to real life.
I'm back to try again, because I miss the old style, so here we go.
You were my favorite for a very long time
Edit: that's EXACTLY what I came here for 5 years ago, that was great story doc. No politics, no child grape.
There's enough sht like that in the real world
Hello 👋
@@SexyGrandmaDarkness hi grandma!! Glad to see you!
@@chrism4008 thank you:) my dear friend how are you doing today? I'm good 😇 be safe ok 💋much love Sexy Grandma Darkness ✌🏼❤️
I would’ve wish you could’ve gave your condolences to the family at the end or like said this story is based of true events or something but yes amazing story nonetheless
This reminds me of Ted the caver
The poetry before your stories - is it your original or listed in the description? I'm always mobile so it's hard for me to find sources sometimes. Either way - wow! These last few pre-story poetries have been such a great mood set.
Mine... I'll get better, I promise!

Caves and play a lot of tricks on people’s mind the dark, the enclosed environment low oxygen content
Aww for fucks sake😮😅😂❤l😊😊
I have to share, and I’m sure that I’m one of the few, but I’m not really digging the new poems preceding the stories. I don’t know if it’s the authors who wrote them, or if it’s the Dr., and either way I mean no disrespect. It’s just a little too much…
Just like everything else I try, some people love it and some don't!
I hate when people read something and pronounce words incorrectly. Totally breaks immersion. I guess climbing equipment is a bit obscure but cmon.
Didn't like this story at all. Felt like Internet Historian's video
Stop clickbait titles… please
I scrolled back through his catalogue and he’s been titling videos like this ever since the first one 6 years ago, so I don’t think he’s likely to stop, lol.
Whats click bait about ghosts of nutty putty cave?
@@sassafrasred6657 I think he means the all caps "ONE OF THE BEST CREEPYPASTA STORIES OF THE DECADE" part.
@@snood4743 ahh. I dont pay attention to that gob shite
Not heard that expression for a while.
I salute you! 😂😂😂
Pqp that was a good one doc
