Thank you! I am fairly new to design space. Your video was so helpful and opened my eyes to so many tools I didn't know existed! Definitely one of the best cricut videos I've watched
Thank you! This info is going to help me a lot!! I never understood it at all before. Now I have a "clue." LOL. I'll start using it more so that I can get better!
This video just got you a new subscriber!! I’ve been watching other videos so I can get to know more about my Cricut. And I was so confused, until I ran into your video! This was so helpful! Thank you so much for this video!! ❤
This covered exactly what I was hoping it would. I want to do a layer design. It’s a square and I want a circle. So the circles you showed seem perfect. I’ll be working for a bit. Thanks.
Can you export out of design space to print on the glow forge? Have not used my Cricut since getting my glowforge. I’ve seen you use the silhouette software, but didn’t think I could use design space.
Thank you. How can you print it before cut? I wanna print my slice out 1st using a printer but the page comes out blank with a rectangle line. No slice pictures comes out 😥
Hey Linda, if you have a photo on your page, it should print just fine through your printer. Are you trying to print the photo or print the outline? Let me know and we'll troubleshoot. Are you able to print from other programs okay? ---Becky
Hey Connie, you can use Print and Cut with Printable Iron-on Material. I have a video for you! Hope this helps! ---Becky ruclips.net/video/qfTu0poC4iY/видео.html
Hey Janet, it's linked in the video description but I'll link it for you again here. Hope this helps! ---Becky designbundles.net/plusstore/568591-mandala-and-sunburst-monograms-15-svg-cut-files
Hi Becky ... Does the first photo need to cover the entire letter? My first photo didn’t cover the entire letter. I’m not sure if that was the reason my subsequent photos didn’t slice right.
Hey Dana, that part shouldn't matter, you'll just have to make sure you are selecting the correct outline when you go to slice again. I find it easier to use the list of shapes on the right hand side. Hope this helps! ---Becky
Yes but then I would have to ungroup everything I designed and unflatten it n slice just 2images cause once I put all my images together n flatten it I can't slice it in half thank u
Im not new to DS but I am having difficulty slicing a cut file I found on DS. Its a baby cow. I only want the face not the body. I grabbed a half circle, put it over the body and selected both the face and the half circle. The slice button did not light up.
So Becky. So when you did your word mom. and you put your kids pictures in it that’s how you did it were you put one picture on one side and then you put the other one on the word mom at the bottom and you attached those together like u did in this video?? So how many times in the letter M can you put how many pictures in there by doing what you just did today in the video?
Hey Christina! Yes, this is exactly how that project is done. You can fill the letters with as many photos as you want, whatever looks good to you! In several projects I've done, I've used 4-6 photos in each letter, but sometimes less is more if the photos have more to show off. Just remember that you can only crop one photo at a time. Hope this helps! ---Becky
you didn't go too fast at all. I can always pause. I bought a design on etsy and want to slice half out. I did the square, did the right click for all one but no slice. So I saw the next part of your video and tried flatten and still wouldn't slice. Is it because this is dec. 2021?? Updates since your video???
Why does this not work if you don't use weld. I have a design that has two layers but when I weld them I loose my cuts lines. Then I can use slice. But if I don't weld and use the cuts I like. It wont let me use slice. Why is this?
Hi there! When objects are welded, they form one object. In order for objects to be sliced, it would require 2 separate objects. We have a helpful tutorial here for you: ruclips.net/video/V1n-f-eNg8U/видео.html If there is anything else we can do for you, please let us know! Enjoy your day and happy crafting! - Dawn 🙂
When ever I try to use the slice tool and then go to print and cut the image is all messed up. I don't understand why this tool isnt working any more. I used to be able to make 1 inch round images with any kind of photo print it off cut them out and put epoxy cabs over the top. I did this all the time and then now all the sudden I can't get the slice tool to work properly. it it looks like it's going to be all good until you print it and then the images all sorts of crazy like cut off and all these weird areas and it's just doesn't make any sense
@@DesignBundles I made sure I only uploaded one photo put the circle shape over then wrapped the box around both and sliced. After I separated the pieces and deleted the excess and the circle shape. I was left with my round photo i then went to the make it. Turned bleed off and hit print. It comes out with the image with in the round shape all cut off

Slice jokes: An old lady is at tea and her host asks "Would you care for a slice of cold pressed ox tongue?" "Oh no," shudders the old lady, "I couldn't eat something that came out of an animal's mouth! Just an egg, please." Whole Foods sells sliced apples, is it false advertising? A Blonde went for a pizza. The chef said would you like it cut into 4 slices or 8? Blonde said 4 please. There is no way I could possibly eat 8 slices.

Hey Teri! So technically you can. It has a lot of workaround steps. I'll see what I can do to put together a video for you. Hope this helps! ---Becky

Hi I would have to take apart what I designed n n slice each part first then put it together again ?
You should be able to select two layers at a time, are you able to group them and then slice?
Yes but then I would have to ungroup everything I designed and unflatten it n slice just 2images cause once I put all my images together n flatten it I can't slice it in half thank u
