I started using Kittl over a year ago, its so user friendly, I rarely watch tutorials, Im learning some things I didnt know, watching this. Kittl is such a wonderful part of my life, it has been a game changer for me.
I have an Merch by Amazon account and I was thinking about using Kittl for doing my designs instead of paying someone on fiverr for them. How do you put in the dimension's for what Amazon requires in Kittl
Wow bro!! I kept watching other youtubers show off kittl but never were as detailed!! I was also worried about publishing and you made it easy to understand. Thank you for having your own tutorials that are longer than 30 sec!! I will be watching all the other videos and more from now on!!
Thank you so much. I am super new to anything digital. Just got my first laptop and taking the steps to start my print on demand business. This video was very helpful!!
New to Kittl and wish I had found it sooner! This video is probably the best all-around user video I have ever seen. Excellent job and immensely helpful. Great information and great presentation style. Looking forward to learning the platform in greater detail.
I am glad you addressed the issue of whether or not a design was automatically published for others to use. That was one of the main preconceived ideas I had and kept me from subscribing. I had signed up and played with this program when it was still Heritage a few years ago. Thank you for doing these over-views and tutorials!
Hi Drew, I am new to kittl, and I have had a play around a little bit. I love it. You explain so well. I have a small craft and printing shop and learning everyday, kittl is the best thing ever and going to take to the next level. Thanks
Hi Drew 🌻Loved your passion for graphic design, so much so I cancelled my Canva subscription straight away and signed up. I look forward to watching more videos, great content. 👍🙂

Thanks for your videos. Like others have said, it is appreciated that you go slow enough for newbies to be able to keep up. I have 1 question about the plans. Thanks in advance.

Great video and super product. I had no idea kittl existed until Charlie Pangus did a video on it. Now I love it and subscribe monthly to you guys! I really love stepping out of Photoshop for a rest and still creating. You have created something special here.
Thanks Drew! Such helpful, detailed content. I don't have any formal training in graphic design or tee shirt design. Do you recommend I take a course before diving into POD? Or just drive right in?
The first place we recommend is checking out our other longer tutorials here on the channel! We have a ton of information about POD, utilizing SEO and market research tools, and even showing you inside some of the platforms so you can get comfortable when signing up to use one.
2 questions: Can I add a gradient effect to font! And can I adjust the kerning for just one letter in a word, or does it effect the whole word? Thank you! I’m enjoying the heck out of using this program!!! Easy and fun!
Great questions! You can apply a gradient to fonts! Check this video out here: ruclips.net/video/kPVmREgsQyQ/видео.htmlsi=GVw4za4lkiaOMVJE Adjusting kerning with one word is currently being worked on, stay updated!
Thank you for the great information. I'm just starting out on Kittl. I'm thinking about paying for a month so I don't have to worry about the limitations with the free version. Which should I pay for the month, pro or expert. I figure if I like it and I use it alot, I'll pay for a year after that. Thanks again
Glad to hear you are considering a payed plan! We believe the Pro is perfect for almost every creator, especially if they are just starting out and getting serious about design or print on demand. Of course you can always upgrade or downgrade your account at any time!
Hello - I'm loving Kittl. Thanks for this detailed tutorial. Is it possible to duplicate a canvas/artboard in order to slightly modify a design (example - changing out one word) and then download all the designs at once?
Thanks for the tips on new features. I've been using Kittl for a while but you covered some stuff that's been there all along and I didn't know how to use it until today. Is there a tutorial on using the masks (which seem to be a new feature)? - the only addison
Wow this program looks amazing and so well thought out! When using a template, is there any way to tell if an element belongs to Kittl or if a user uploaded it themselves? My concern is accidentally using a trademarked or copyrighted element in a design I’m selling. Etsy really doesn’t play around with that and I’ve put too much time into my shop to lose it 😅 super excited to start designing with this! Great tutorial 😊
Hey there, great question! It is definitely important to always check if something is allowed for use. While most all templates you see on Kittl will be created using Kittl elements and Illustrations, there may be users that wish to upload their own artwork, or another graphic in the template. We make it clear in our policies that anything published to Kittl must be allowed for both personal and commercial use by the whole Kittl community. Users are not allowed to upload licensed graphics they purchased elsewhere. So it is up to the user to ensure this responsibility. However, most all templates you see on our home page and by our collaborative creators were made using solely Kittl elements, illustrations, or with Kittl AI. Thanks for the question!
This was a great video! I have just started using Kittl and I am enjoying it! What does the little crown symbol mean (I have seen this under some design elements etc.)?
Great question! The crown symbol signifies a premium (pro) assets, meaning that they are only available to use for Pro and Expert subscription holders.
I have just found you, thank you for this video, all others reallly dont show anything! Can you tell me if I can make stickers with this platform? Thank you so much

Not sure if I should sell single characters so people can pick or display multiple characters on a shirt and they can pick and choose from just one listing? Ok Thank you so much! ~Gen Helms
Hey there! Thanks so much for watching. We have several tutorials as well as interviews where you can learn about customizable shirts for Etsy. Perhaps this is a good video to start with, as you can adapt the topic to what you need: ruclips.net/video/NlDzUjecj-E/видео.htmlsi=8wlvyl8gZtlc0l81
Hey Drew, Great video!! There's only one thing I would suggest.... add a disclaimer to tell people to grab a napkin, because they will drool!!! hahaha I absolutely love this
SO USFUL, thank you. So far I am a third of the way in. I have a question, does Kittl work the same on a laptop as on (in my case) an IPad Pro with keyboard. For example, I cannot get the shift/scale to stretch or skew an element to work no matter what I do on my IPad Pro. TIA for any advice.
Hey there! Thanks for the feedback, generally the functionality should be the same on iPad in the browser as it is in our desktop version (but only optimized for Chrome on the iPad). Due to the OS differences, there is going to be some variability in how certain functions work until we can solidify our own native application you can download for the iPad. So we apologize for any frustrations you run into!
Hey there! We're not sure what you mean by bulk create, but right now, it is one design art-board creation space, and we are looking at adding multi-artboard capability very soon!
I love Kittl. It's the easiest to use, best templates by far and the support team is dynamite. But payment methods keeps me from buying any of the plans. Can't use prepaid cards, PayPal or even cash, all because those methods can't be used to automatically renew subscriptions. Man, you guys are leaving millions and millions of dollars on the table. Oh well, sucks to be me. Keep up the good work guys you have a wonderful product there.
Hey there! Sorry for any frustration with the payment methods, but because we are a subscription based tool, we enlist the safest and full-proof payment methods for both the payee as well as our company, to protect both the user and business. We are looking into how to integrate PayPal in the future, but purchasing a Kittl subscription is not a "one-time" product, and we will have to investigate as to whether PayPal can support a subscription type method. Thanks for the feedback. Cheers!
@@Kittldesign it does. I pay for a different subscription service with it. When there is no money in my PayPal account, it pulls it from the account that’s connected to it.
very helpgul video ! but i just wonder can I use imges in JPG or PNJ formats for print on demand business, will these give the good results in print because sometimes PDF format is not accepted on their websites ...
Great Video, thank you for taking the time to do this. Very Helpful ! Love Kittl. Only wish it did not take credits for images created in AI that are totally a mess. Animals and People can be really difficult. Extra limbs like crazy. Can waste 10 plus credit to get one good image. Hopefully it gets better. Either way love your video !
Hi, thanks for the video. One thing I'm not sure about which may be an obvious answer but, you mentioned that creators who publish their work should maybe use stock text. How do I know, as a user of a template for POD if I'm able to use the same text or not? New to Kittl and loving it btw :)
Welcome to Kittl! So glad you're here. And what we meant was, it's best to switch up or customize the text to be specific to you or the niche you are wanting to sell to. So if the text says "Adventure On, Glacier Montana" perhaps think of how you could switch it up. Like "Adventure More" and then of course make it specific to whatever location (if it's relevant). "Stock text" would refer to something like "your name here" or "put the date here" or etc. that would obviously need to be replaced before listing somewhere.
I just found out about Kittl, from browsing RUclips. I am familiar with Graphics programs, however how does one know if a graphic created or modified in your canvas work area is suitable as far as the finished product goes for POD?
Good question! You can easily see the pixel dimensions of your artboard by clicking on the Cog wheel, and you can also control the DPI settings when you are going to export your design, ensuring that it will be 300 DPI for your print products. Cheers.
I have been using GIMP for years now, building things largely from scratch. I have had success with this method, but it is time-consuming. Kittl is a game-changer for me as far as speed of production is concerned. I just want to get that out there before I give criticism. I find myself having to stop and back up repeatedly to figure out how those changes magically appear on the screen. Racing through demonstrations of knowledge is one thing, teaching is entirely different. The clues are here and I will do what I have to do to learn this, but this is not an easy course to follow. Having said that, I can see already that Kittl is worth whatever effort I have to expend in learning the system. Not only does it save me many steps in the production process, but it also constantly feeds me new ideas as I explore the templates.
Great question. With the free version, you have a limited ability in terms of download resolution, so in terms of Print On Demand, stickers and magnets are a great option, as well as any designs that have a full background on them. The Pro and Expert versions of Kittl allow you to download higher resolutions as well as removing the background from your designs to put on things like T-Shirts.
I'm using the free version and not seeing where it gives you an option to bookmark and some of the other features you are explaining. Also I'm using Windows based PC and I believe your using a MAC for this video, so the commands are different. But I'm enjoying the video and appreciate the step by step. I'm new to Kittl but I'm learning.🙂
Hey there! With commands, CMD can be swapped out for the CTRL key. 😉 To access the bookmarking and further details on templates, there is now a little i icon on each template you can click into to see more. Check out this update video: ruclips.net/video/vBp5ZVV9LJU/видео.htmlsi=8DmhNDN0w3OZizFy
Hey there! Right now our mockups are limited to font and back designs depending on the mockup choose, we are looking at a more robust solution for the future.
I think you need to make a new masterclass how-to video with all the changes Kittl has made in the past year. Many of things you're talking about has changed and it's a little frustrating to try and find the changes compared to what you're talking about a year ago. Other than that, the video is cool and informative. Please create new one with the relevant updates. 😃
Very good point! We know it is outdated, and we are working on creating an even bigger and better one once we solidify some more exciting updates and changes! We wouldn't want to do it too soon and then have the same issue a month later!
@@ms.charlihustle3469 To help myself navigate the differences, I watched a few of their newest videos. I found those helpful when trying to navigate the current version. Full disclosure, I did have to pause and rewind quite a lot every time they did something really good, or even just basic, and I was like..."How'd he do that?" Hopefully a new full tutorial will come soon. 🙂

very helpgul video ! but i just wonder can I use imges in JPG or PNJ formats for print on demand business, will these give the good results in print because sometimes PDF format is not accepted on their websites ...
Yes, with PNGs, you can remove the background, and export in 300 DPI so that the quality of your print will be extremely clear.
Thanks for all of the feedback here!
Great Video! Say I want only a single word texted how would I do that?
Hey there! We are not entirely sure what you mean. Can you explain?
@@Kittldesign That's ok then, that's what I've been doing. Thanks you! Quick response too, you guys are on fire 🔥😃
Just found out about KITTL!
Can you use Roland color palette with this application?
Hey there! We have a variety of color palettes ready to use, and you can also save color palettes in Kittl with the Brand Kits feature.
Cheers.
Helpful video. Thanks.👍
Glad to hear it! Thanks for watching!
Awesome! Thank you!
You're welcome!
Loving this example- having a kiddo who plays DND and having played a bit myself.... )
Glad the video was helpful!
Thanks for the kind words!
Hi, i love the video, what can i use for free i read the terms but confused i do pod so i wanted to see what i can do for free ?
Great demo. Useful. Thank you 🤩
Glad it was helpful for you!
About bringing in our own fonts. Is there a way to organize, label or categorize them? In other words keep them separate from Kittl fonts?
Also thank you. Great video.
We are working on this and know it is a necessity! We will update everyone when that is available.
Awesome!!! Thank you!!!
You are so welcome!
How can I put a separate design for the arm sleeve of the t shirt?
@@Kittldesign sounds good 🙂
I second that!! I'm having a hard time following along because a lot has changed. It's frustrating when you've purchased kittl!!
super helpful...thanks
Glad to hear that!
Thanks 😊
Cheers!
let me know when you do the 3 mo pro promo again. Want to join but just can't swing it yet.
You will commonly find sales around big holidays!
great demo, thanks for that
You are most welcome!
Hi Drew, I want to use some weed leaves in designs and some tree images unique to my area in my designs. Can you upload your own photos or drawings to Kittle, or how would you do it?
Yes, you can upload your own assets and images to Kittl, check out this video where you can see right at the beginning where the uploads button is on the left: ruclips.net/video/Fzd6wbp-HH8/видео.htmlsi=G5cEGlCO7BJKHbWl
