Its a big reach, but i feel like this would be so much more immersive with no loading screens when entering a building, elevator, garage etc. Having a character you can actually get out the car with and enter your Home with no cuts would be AMAZING.
I think the character models look a little weird but the game looks fun

Just think about this people still play GTA 5 and have no problem with it nobody actually cares about realistic character models. People don’t keep people playing car games for realistic car models. It’s the gameplay, features and content in the game GTA number selling game of all time for the gameplay features and content not because of real life characters models. Let me give you a eye opener this TDUSC game is the only game that can provide the type of experience it provides on console. Besides GTA 5 that is the only game on console that can give you the closest experience TDUSC provides. You see what I’m saying even in the new GTA 6 trailer the game looks excellent but you can tell it’s boring realistic about the graphics it just looks really good because of upgraded textures, lighting and colors.
Imagine if in this game the main character had like a very cheap house with an old muscle car in their garage, and they would just build up from the scratch buying different new cars and properties in a long process. Mix this with a good story.

Since I was playing TD Unlimited 2 for long time ago, now this game is coming back, this is a legendary.
I will 100 percent be buying this game. I rememeber playing TDU2. I think I put over 1,000 hours into that game and loved it. I know this is just a demo but there are a few tweaks they need to make before launch. I hope this game gets a really big fan base.
Wow, it even got the classic character models from 2006! Seriously though, I had a blast with Test Drive Unlimited 1+2. I think I will really give this one a try. Just listen to the engine sounds... just beautiful :)

That’s just mad, it from zero news to an absolute flood.
After playing the steam demo version, I summarized few serious problems, I hope you can report/tell the Test Drive Unlimited Official to fix/improve these issues before publishing the game because it is a memorable game for all of us, we all hope to have playful and enjoyable game experiences for tdusc
1. I use gtx1650 to play mid graphic quality, the graphic performance is very poor but I still experience frequently game crashes, I don’t know why
2. The frame is very low even at lowest graphic quality , the game is seem like stuck and un-fluent.
3. There is no option for buying property, club, casino, and clothing stores which I am very disappointed because these are my favorite features from tdu2.
3. The racing experience is weird, like there are some small materials in front of the vehicle then it would automatically spin and lose control.
This looks like its going to be awesome qnd that sucks the servers are being crappy i guess since it is a demo it has alot of bugs mahbe they will fix the server issue cant wait for this to actually come out would definitely love to see more of this. Anyways thanks for sharing keep up the great work much love to ya have a good one take care god bless abd i iwll see ya on the next one
That’s exactly why it has a lot of bugs it’s a old demo build why would they let people play a full blown polished game exclusively for PC only for free 3 months before the release of the real game they definitely released this to stress test the servers and optimizing the game especially since this is not even available for consoles yet I can’t wait to play this game on release I’ve told all my GTA car enthusiasts buddies that hate being shot and blowed up in a lobby about this game we finally have a game that can provide a very similar experience for us

@@redhunnid5142 Older "model years" are always welcome to see but old/same "3D models" as TDU2 are laughable in 2024 since they have wrong/bad scale and geometry
sadly the sequential lights are not allowed on cars like the mustang out of the USA that is why they have the static lights with the amber blinker. apparently you cannot have the brake and the turn signal be on one light that is why so many cars sold in europe have amber indicators on the tail lights.

I wish i could play the demo on my Xbox Series X. 😢 It looks fun even though some things definitely needs too be fixed like the steering wheel animation. I can't wait for the full release, i got the Gold Edition. 🙂

I can’t wait for the release of this game I see the vision I understand it’s a small budget studio but there is nothing on consoles for car enthusiasts that can provide this experience besides GTA 5 this is a car enthusiast GTA type game on console I need this game man the raw sounds, the proximity chat and the small details like windows rolling down and hazard lights this game is in a class of its own

Yea you need a 4090 bare minimum when I played it I see why the game looks really good my friend had to play it on low settings to get it to run but they do say it 4090 to run this game at it’s best anything less will not be optimal for this old demo build I’m sure as we get closer to launch they should be able to get more lower spec PCs to run efficiently

Bruh…these plasticky graphics, arcade vehicle engine audio, 2014 character models, tiny map…what a sad follow up to TDU2.
The demo has just been removed from Steam. I hope they will put much more efforts to make it perfect and will give us the offline mode - I don't want to be a hostage of some services on servers and the quality of connection. Ubisoft already switched off "The Crew" servers, so we will never play this game again.

That's weird, character shifted with the knob but when you customized the car it's an automatic. I guess they didn't get that right, because it would have paddles.

After trying the demo and uninstalling it after 30 minutes trying to get my wheel to work, it is clear that they have a lot of work to do to get this game ready in 3 months. If the demo is an indication of where they are in development then the game is in a really bad state. Many settings dont save when you change them, it switches inputs a lot, the force feedback dissapears if you are not using the the throttle. Games performance is terrible. If you touch your mouse or keyboard when using a wheel, the wheel also stops working until you push a button on it. When i put a car in reverse it automatically shifted to 1st gear so reversing was impossible.

My biggest issues with the demo are the server errors every 30 seconds, and the rudimentary wheel support. I couldn't get FFB to work at all with a Moza R9, there seemed to be no way to set the transmissions to fully manual despite disabling auto clutch and binding the shifter. I could not reverse AT ALL for whatever reason (would shift into reverse, let off clutch and the car would shift back into first gear on its own). Aside from that, the server errors made the demo borderline unplayable. My settings wouldn't save, and I really don't know how thats even logical. It took 20 minutes to enter a single race and even when i did manage to start a race, I got disconnected from the lobby WHICH WAS ONLY ME AND AI DRIVERS... Ignoring all of this negative, if they manage to fix it all for the release, it will be an enjoyable game. I can deal with the lack of polished wheel support at launch but i wont be happy with it. The desperate fix needs to be optimization, QOL polish, and about 10x the server capacity (if they decide to not give us an offline mode, which will be another huge negative, but again I can deal with)

I have a low/mid end PC with a 1050ti and 16GB of RAM, this demo runs at 20FPS max in the lowest graphics settings possible, while for example Forza Horizon 5 runs at a 40FPS average at almost ultra settings, I was really excited to play it since I loved TDU 1 and 2, but its optimization is so bad it's almost unplayable, I have heard from people with high end PCs it only gets to 60-75FPS too, and 3 months to fix this issue is not enough time... The game looks fun, the car models looks nice, the map looks very detailed, but it's just unplayable in the state it's rn...
From the looks of it i'd ask you.. did you up the graphics? some things there kinda look like butt

I hope the next GTA game has nice looking dealerships like this and has an outdoor parking lot vehicles that just show mid-end vehicles and show them in like three different colors with a few different trims something that just looks realistic to life in the game would be awesome
Other things could be like the poor man's dealership where you can get a low end Camaro that's got scratches rust dents maybe missing bumper and then later on in the game you could fix stuff when you level up in online play as you make more money. And those poor men dealerships would have different makes of used cars.
And then it's just got to be more realistic like I want to see the poor man's dealership located in a more poorer neighborhood in GTA 6

Gas Stations are for Fast Travel, car repair and cleaning, and switching cars iirc. Workshops are for tuning,painting, fast travel, and switching cars iirc

Yeah won't be linking any accounts to this. Steam is no doubt going to change the rules on this as it's the same thing Amazon did when they realized their sellers were sending their customers to their own website for discounts.

Well it used to be well known for the massive map and buying houses where you store your cars. For the new one, the map is small and there are no houses at launch, so yeah it's being held back a lot 😂
