- In this tutorial we show you how to use multiple cameras and switch between cameras in blender. We show you how to add and use multiple camera in blender. We specifically show you how to assign and activate each camera through keying and labeling each camera at different points of the timeline so that you can have one render scene and render multiple shots on the same timeline with different cameras.
Sometimes you have those videos that give you *exactly* what you wanted. This is one of those videos.
haha thanks i am trying to do more of those
Sometimes you see a comment on a video that says exactly what you were thinking. This is one of those comments.
I see this as an absolute win, straight to the point, easy to follow on with, extremely simple.
glad it helped
This video is mind so amazing. As a person who has learnt 3d entirely on the internet, the simplicity is so refreshing . RUclipsrs dont realise that we dont only see just their informative video. I can’t see 100 long intros, no one cares when its not informative. There is a reason why we have skip intro on every ott
No muss. no fuss, my kind of tutorial. This is precisely what I was looking for, and I couldn't find it anywhere else this clearly. It's one of those Blender things that's unintuitive; I don't want to animate anything; I just want to set up different camera for different angles on my render and switch easily between them. Thank you!
cool beans
thankyou so much
I watched 10 videos of 30 minutes each. No one helped. This oane was short and perfect. Exactly what I was looking for. thanks

FYI. You don't need to create a marker first. Hitting ctrl+B will create it automatically.

You're welcome
BRO YOU JUST SAVE ME LIFEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE IM SUBSCIBE
Perfect!
👌
super useful. ❤🔥
thank you
i dont care about materials, ive opened the video about camera
But how do you do it without timeline markers? I don't want to switch cameras over time, I just want to change them.
damn....cool
Can you tell me how to make the camera switch look smoother? There is an animation of camera 1 transitioning to camera 2,It would be cool if one could seamlessly blend between cameras, not just instantly switch between them.
If you keep commenting on this thread i will make th effort to do it within this week...try and provide examples
You can probably do it afterwards in a video editing program but it would be much easier if there was a method to do it straight from blender before rendering
10/10
I wanna know how to view different cameras, so i press ctrl+alt 0 to add a camera then press 0 to view it, then i add a different camera do the same thing but when i press numpad 0 it brings me back to the other camera. Does anyone know how to fix this?
To view the viewport of a specific camera in Blender, follow these steps:
In the 3D Viewport, select the camera you want to view from. You can do this by clicking on the camera object in the scene, or by selecting it in the Outliner or in the Properties panel.
In the 3D Viewport, press Numpad 0 or go to the View menu and select Camera. This will switch the viewport to the camera's perspective.
If you have multiple cameras in your scene and want to switch between them, you can either repeat steps 1 and 2, or use the Viewport Camera Select dropdown in the 3D Viewport header. This dropdown allows you to select any camera in the scene and view it directly.
To return to the default perspective view, press Numpad 5 or go to the View menu and select Perspective.
I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any other questions.
Thanks alot. I wonder why it is that clunky. Why is there no button or a short, to switch between cameras. I watched this Video now many times. Always asking the same.. xD
Very low sound but Hey Thanks man
👍
arigato gosaimasu
it didn't work D:
I Oue you a beer mate
Wow so complicated, in C4D you can simply click next to a camera in the object list to see through it and switch between cameras easily
its not working what can i do ?
where do you get stuck timestamp
trol
lol why this tutorial works its not even edited
i got a longer 10 minute version of this
Why do you make us watch you setting up the scene before you get to the point your title is making? I suggest you watch some if this guys videos for the point I am making ruclips.net/user/RoyalSkiesLLC
main reason is some beginners get stuck and by not missing a step there are no excuses... I remeber starting out getting stuck because the beginning steps were skipped, i love Royal Skies but we all got our own style and I am still figrunig out mine... the other issue is that I cant do it full time as I have 16 hour - 18 hour days.....not to mention this is only 2 minutes...down from 11 minutes from a video i did a year before
appreciate the feedback your points are valid...
@@FunwithBlender Thank you for your answer. If one is looking for an information on switching between cameras in blender, it is probably because they already have something to show. That's why I think you shouldn't make them watch you setting up the scene before giving the information. Blender is not an easy program to master and even a few months break can cause you to forget how something is done. The title of your video made me come to you for a quick solution since I saw it was only 2:18 minutes long. I hoped you would get straight to the point.
Thanks for useless titorial
thank you so much
Thank you
Thanks
