All of them could be correct depending on the situation. "Advantage" seems to be the least synonymous with defect, although in natural selection sometimes having a defect could result in an evolutionary advantage. "Decay" is a defect which occurs in a mortal life form. "Withdraw" could be considered a defect if the one fleeing is going over to an opponents side. "Drawback" was the answer to the video... Wow, this was the easiest vocab quiz I've ever taken, lol. I kept thinking the words would get harder, but they didn't so I got them all right. I guess it helps if you like to read.

I got 20/20 -- Row is interesting, as in this example an argument, but Row can also be used for someone to row a boat, also Row can be used to line up objects or people in a straight line.
This was pretty easy overall, 20/20 but there were a couple questions I had to rethink because I was thinking of a different definition the word had lol
I got 18/20! Tbh, I feel like I search up synonyms and I am very picky with meanings of words, so not too bad. TwT Though I feel stupid over esteem being the synonym of respect. *Me banging my head on my table*😅
Question 11. I felt this had 2 possible answers. Defect as a noun - Drawback. Defect as a verb - Withdraw.
Thought the same
Defect could also mean damage or blemish. Depends on how you pronounce it and how it’s used in context.
19 out of 20

Try to correct me if you think I am wrong on this topic concerning "Defect"
19/20
It's incredibly easy however Row was quite difficult since it was the British definition
I think it does have a lot of meanings. I actually overthinked on that one tbh. 😅❣ But that's a really good score! Well done! 💙
Agree on this… thats the only one I couldn’t figure out.
that makes us two....i honestly never heard someone using the row one, it's good to learn something new.
I only knew it because of a video game lol...Witcher 3, some people say "startin' a row" in reference to picking a fight
same here i was thinking of like.... lined horizontally
the answer to 13 is obviously a. stab
"Hey can I have a hug?"
"Sure!"
"WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT FOR?! CALL AN AMBULANCE!"
for someone who reads tons of novels, this was pretty easy tho i had to rethink some of the words but overall it's not that difficult.
U mean manga? Jk saw boruto in your pfp so wanted to make a cringe joke
@@hungphamviet3543 i do read manga but i think some translations don't include any complex words...
Yeh, I got all of them right.. too ez
I'm not a native speaker and don't read tons of novel but still got 20/20 on this. It's actually not hard

Yeah I got 19/20 right and I don't even read any books (besides for school).

@@eyesuu I'm sorry, I can't recall the one question that I answered incorrectly. I'm quite happy with my score. 😁

It exists in American English too. You can refer Collins dictionary: "row" in American English (pronunciation as given above) - noisy quarrel.
I pieced “row” together with “drivel”, from there into “argument”, it threw me for a loop haha wasn’t sure if I was correct
@Meese Yeah but what Brits have heard it in person? - Me, a Brit.
19/20 not bad, I actually expected worse since English isn’t my first language. But I never heard an argument being referred to as “row”…
Same, and i speak english natively
That's because that was the British definition of the word row. In England a row is an arguement
I got 15/20 (75%). That British definition of "row" got me though.

I almost exclusively see row in historical contexts.
I've never seen the word row used out of row/column

No the one you're refering to has a different meaning. Defect as a verb means to abandon one's country or cause in favour of an opposing one.
