    That's some seriously good work Grant! I think white window frames would look really good. If I owned one of those lasers Id definitely lose a finger lol

      Ive had it a while, got it to do place names for my daughters wedding, but I haven't really used it much, thought I would put it to use.

    Maybe one day you should try start a scratch build? Get a book with a hull scematic and lots of pictures, that will get you a long way. I love how you customize a build, so why not?
    Woud the problem be using laminated wood? I can imagine not laminated work better, fine grained wood... white oak or something, maybe pear...

      Hi Martin, im thinking of doing the Saint Philippe next, i have the monograph, just a bit daunting, at least with a kit you have the basics, and can work on it, see how brave im feeling when this project is complete, Im glad you enjoy the customisations, I get a bit carried away at times.
