Great channel - there's not enough of this kind of content out there, a younger generation with an appreciation of modern classic bikes and showing the fun of riding along with it. Mod 2 test for me tomorrow, and have a T100 Black in the garage ready and raring to go.
Thanks dude, glad you enjoy our content, someone has to represent the younger generation! Best of luck with the Mod 2, best feeling in the world getting back, insuring your bike and riding off into the sunset 🏍️😎
Thanks for the enthusiastic viseo, inspiring. Helpful tomtom stuff , plan a thrill os hood but not too cirvy othewose its a cycle route! I think tomtom have stopped the customer rides, or mydrive seems to have gone, the site was amazing so im.sad its gone. Do u know any different?
Recently brought the rider 550 and learnt a few things from thus video. Alot ice watched woffle too much about it so I loose the concentration. You guys are fab. Be nice to know what media your using so you can record your audio on your gopro. I have a mod thing for my gp10 but not sure how to hook it up to my cardo bold to chat on my gopro as don't fancy lots of wires off my helmet. Ant suggestions
Thanks Lisa, we have a video on the channel showing you how to hook up your coms via your cards to GP10, hopefully it's of some use and easy to find! A fair few wires though is the only issue 😕
The algorithms have just brought you to me. Firstly, nice to see young people on bikes!!! Not enough of you - get recruiting!! Secondly, I'm from the 'bit of paper with directions taped to tank/screen' generation. That, though is no use in a strange town or whatever I occasionally use Google maps but it's a bit edgy - what if your contacts, emails, photos & carefully honed & curated 'gentleman's art' collection go bouncing down the road?? I could use a sat nav - but the PRICE of a bike one - just not worth it. Roll of sellotape £1.50 😁
Great to have you along Duncan, what's the saying, if you build it they will come? 😉. Can't go wrong with a paper map if you're comfortable with it, getting lost on a bike can be a lot of fun in itself 👌 Stay tuned for more! 🤙🏍️
@@NoPlaceToBe. amen to your 'getting lost' comment - when I first moved here (East/North Yorks border) and found the fantastic maze of lanes, that was one of my favourite things - deliberately get lost and bumble around till you bumped into something significant enough (eg Scarborough) to put you on the road home again. I suppose you'd like me to do that 'subscribe' thing? OK then. (Edit - your paper map comment? Whether you're riding or hill-walking there is an awful lot of satisfaction to be had in learning the basics of map reading: how to sort yourself out if - shock horror - the Internet isn't there to do everything for you 😉 Used to be called self-reliance)
Can't beat a bit of self reliance Duncan! Sounds like you have some.nice roads up that way, I'd like to do the Whitby coast road at some point. Thanks for the sub! 🙏
Shssh. I think they're Southern (bless). Don't be bullying them. It's terribly crowded down there - all roundabouts and B&Q's. I suspect any bit of quiet road with green around it is a win to these poor souls.
@@duncanjowett5575 Maybe you need to get out a bit more. I used to work at the Mill before the King William pub near the beginning of the video and sunk a few pints there at the end of a shift. Know the Derbyshire, Staffordshire, South Yorkshire roads very well. Now living down South (spit) in the Northamptonshire, Bedfordshire and Cambridgeshire area and get away from the SatNav drone following areas and the roads are empty. Great vid with the perfect bike for the Cat & Fiddle, I'm subscribing. Still a great road although I remember the days before the average speed cams when I rode my Laverda Jota along there. Get yourself and your mates on a Bikesafe course with the Derbyshire Police. I did one last year and it was a hoon coming down Via Gellia.

@@NoPlaceToBe. don't do it in Summer 🤣
Would you rather have a TomTom over a Garmin?
I've never used a Garmin so I wouldn't be able to say unfortunately! 🤷♂️
Best road? No.
Find yourself a decent route to Hawes, then Aisgill, Brough, Middleton in Teasdale, Alston.
That's the best road in England, possibly.
Got to love the dales, we'll be back up there for sure, thanks for the recommendation 🤙🏍️

We're from south Yorkshire originally so by no means southern 😆
@@NoPlaceToBe. apologies.
