How to Make an XPS Foam Surfboard #01 - Introduction

It's been a while since a posted a video on surfboard making. I have a bunch of other projects I wanted to get done but I figured it was time to make a new board, well actually to make a replica of an old surfboard that I really like.
This build will take a few weeks or months so I will try to post a video as soon as I get a section of the surfboard done. Please be patient!

I loved this series so much! I made a 38” xps foil board that I love to foil with! It’s 3.8 lbs. I used your ideas on edges, and resin. I cut 1/8”+ exacto blade slits all over top & bottom of shaped foam to help resin adhesion. I used uni & woven carbon fiber. Your sanding method with oscillating tool (I got dewalt w 20v batt) eliminates dust!! Learned so much from you. I covered foot positions with Groover EPS foam from NSI. Thanks!!!!!

Also looking forward to the new series. I followed your last series this past winter and built my first few boards. I used XPS and have had a few issues with off gassing in the heat creating bubbles between the foam and the glass. Isn't XPS more prone to off gassing than EPS? I have found conflicting info on the topic. I plan to try EPs this coming winter.
