Stiflingly hot day. Glad they were under the shade of trees when standing and playing for a long time. Magnificent spectacle when the King's Troop RHA thundered past at full gallop with limbers and guns as the band played.
Very nice video, very nice sound, high filming quality, it was a great pleasure for me to watch. Only the British are able to show such a parade. Thank you for all the tremendous work you did.
Als Deutscher schlägt mein Herz immer höher, wenn eine britische Militärkapelle (hier gleich zwei) Märsche von Hermann Ludwig Blankenburg spielt. Großartig!
Beautiful really beautiful awesome video, band, cavalry, music, as only British can do.... and an extraordinary SDM Gareth Chambers, perfect and exemplary in his role, always, in every events! A man of class❤ Thank you very much for sharing, a great job!!
Auch der letzte Marsch ist von meinem Urgroßvater H.L Blankenburg kompiert worden . Abmarsch in die Quartiere WolfgangBlankenburgUrenkel Winnweiler Deutschland ! ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
@vickyRoyalHistory hi Vicky, I come back to this video often as it’s so nice to listen to and I don’t think I noticed your response before. Still like (no love) to read anything you have to say, so knowledgeable and informative. I always learn something new. Didn’t know about SDM being a (acting as?) Staff Sergeant. On another note, (pardon pun) i really like the music played here, so relaxing to listen to. Just letting my imagination, as I watch, run as fast as the horses because I’m thinking where on earth would this be seen? To think it could be like watching a battle from the French Revolutionary and Napoleonic wars right there! Great video 😊 thank you to the videographer too.
@vickyRoyalHistory Hi Vicky, once again thank you for the information, I did know about the Queen wanting to keep the name’Kings Troop’ in honour of her father and the anniversary of the succession but so much of what you said I didn’t! So interesting 🤔 I must say I think you should be a commentator for royal events, I’ll bet you wouldn’t have to swot for each event as of course so many commentators must do! I did notice, just viewed last week, another video in the park which I assumed was the same event one year on (wish I could remember the title) but this time the surrounding area was cordoned off and I don’t think the videographer could get anywhere near like the previous one. I did wonder why the public (in the first anniversary) could get so near with apparently only two policemen on bikes for security. It was lovely to see but unfortunately, in these times, a bit nerve wracking! Well I hope to get over to London once again next year but this time my sis-in-law would like to see the parade to and from HG in the Mall. I think that’s the plan. I hope GW we’re going to make it!! Probably bring recliners!!🤣🤣🤣 I have just thought about something you may know! I was thinking about access, I know it’s a way off but as our Hotel is in Whitehall (not Raffles!) 🤣🤣🤣, I wonder about how we would get to, say, the bottom of the Mall (or near) just where the parade enters the mall. Normally I know that we could either go through Horseguards or Admiralty Arch but I wonder if access to mall is closed off at Admiralty Arch, obviously it will be closed at HGs. I wonder if access is there (at A. Arch) up until a certain time? Would you have any idea? Thank you Vicky 😊
Saw tehse guys 2022 in my local town centre of the Platinum Jubilee and then saw them last year went I went with my cadets to watch the Trooping of the Colour Colonels review and say HRH PoW
Agree with everything you say. I have been watching the Guards change in central London on a fairly regular basis since the 1940s. It has become embarrassing to watch, a shambles.
Lovely video, beautiful music beautiful sight, thank you for the opportunity to see 😊
Splendid. God Save The King!
Excellent band and I love the way people follow alongside and in back, especially at the end.
Despite things not going that great in Blighty right now...these sights and sounds make me so proud to be a Brit 😊
Simply beautiful thankyou ever so much for sharing. Our Majesty sorely missed R.I.P. GBNF ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Nice work, MBE
Thank you

It’s like watching the Pied Pipers of Hamlin, just look at the crowd that has gathered. So proud of our troops. 👏❤️

Not just the grenadier guards
Why do the Grenadiers do their best to hide their white plumes in the fur of their bearskins?
Sorry but some of these would not be in it. There was a height regulation. To stop it looking silly.
