Safer method is to use fishing line to remove . It doesn’t take much flex in your main mirror to crack it.

After removal of blind spot mirrors, how do you re-apply them? I put them in the upper right and I’ve realized it blocks a good percentage of view from the original mirror so if I can I’d like to use the same mirrors and move them/re-adjust them
The adhesive will be useless, and you should purchase new tape to reinstall it. The remaining adhesive could be removed by alcohol.
