Damn as a woman, I absolutely HATE that this is kinda true (to an extent) lol. I had this one guy who drove me crazy, literally insane, cuz he was so different. Then he would text me in a (almost cold?) manner. He was always polite and responded, but he was never like “heyyy girl wasssup!” He’d be like “how are you doing today”. Almost like I was a coworker or something it really threw me off because in person he was personable lol. Oh and he NEVER used emojis, and something about that made him seem more masculine, and like I respected him more. I know that sounds like such a trivial thing but honestly it made a difference. Then if I got upset at him he wouldn’t go back and forth tit for tat w me, he’d say “you’re obviously upset. If you’d like to have a rational discussion about it that’s fine. If you just want to argue and start drama you can be doing that on your own”. NGL I’ve never had a guy talk to me like that. Everything about him was so intriguing. But even tho I knew he liked me and was very attracted to me, I still wondered just how much, because he just refused to show his cards all the way and there was almost this feeling like I couldn’t quite GET him all the way.
