Poppy Playtime Chapter 3 description (from Steam):
A decrepit orphanage known as Playcare sits beneath the once magical toy factory. You must make your way through this haunted place, solving new puzzles and avoiding the nightmares that lurk within the dark. Answers lie between the blood-stained bedsheets and screaming echoes... If you can survive.
This is Poppy Playtime's biggest and most terrifying chapter yet. More lies ahead than you might expect...
New monsters await, and they're much more than just simple toys.
Playcare is Playtime's own massive, fantastical orphanage. And you get to explore it.
The GrabPack gets an upgrade!
New hands permit new and creative ways to explore.
A Gas Mask is the only way to safely explore through the red smoke that fills the air.
Answers will finally be revealed. Lies can only stay buried for so long...
There is so much more to see, with further details coming very soon.

It is crazy how people can already instantly get to the final boss with glitches this early into the release of the game.

I guess it makes sense that there are bugs that ppl take advantage of when the game newly releases. It’s more impressive when speedrunners can find glitches later in the game’s life after patches and still get speedy times 😅
@@myralyra2404 Devs rarely fix those bugs. In this game to take advantage of this in one place at specific time you got out of bounce by talking and jumping in specific way and place and use barrel physics to climb a wall out of bounce, lol. Normal players will never see this.

Little fact about the first hallucination area, the maze in the orphanage: you can just pick whatever direction you want and still make it to the end, the game automatically teleports you onto the right path. That’s why taking some turns makes the game jump (which the game tries to hide by flickering the lights)

I'm surprise to see how fast the game can be beaten. Also I love imaginating the MC being like "Hello Cat that want to kill me, sorry I need to out of bound real quick to reach the elevator to end my speedrun."

15:10 DogDay death give me chills, horror chills. And the whole chase is a nightmare in level design, i took EVERY wrong turn and had to witness DogDay death again and AGAIN

There were so many times when there were completely unnecessary holes or items chilling inside of random vents that I started getting paranoid and staring at the ceiling in each room😭
I’mma be honest, I got jumpscared more by the gas mask being put on than anything else

The speed run community is the only reason I keep up with poppy playtime
Speedrunning and Tool-Assisted Superplays are two sides of the same coin: TAS are frame-by-frame optimizations of playthroughs with software, while this speedrun is done by human hands. Phenomenal, simply phenomenal!

I like to imagine how other characters react to speedrunners, Ollie is probably terrified by how fast the mc is and how they know what to do before he says anything
I've watched multiple playthroughs of this chapter already, abd this is the first time I'm seeing Catnap crawl up at around 0:40. Guess that's why you gotta check out these videos. You the speedy man!

I like that you did this one and not the quick 15 minute glitch into the boss fight room, I like the longer speedrun commentary runs

You can hold forward during the initial cutscene to start the compactor early and “land” closer to the ramp up and out. Holding forward too early, though, will make you fall out of bounds and die.

It's impressive how quickly EazySpeezy has mastered the game mechanics and found optimal strategies for speedrunning the game.
Everyone else is playing this for a hour and above, this man literally takes 25 percent and does a speedrun
Took me 4-5 hours and easy does it in 24
This chapter has some dark lore
Oh this is before the bigger skips were found, FYI the game can be beatin in at least 11 min (currant wr if I recall)

I’ve been waiting to for this video (excepting a month) but he made this in like a week. Huge props to speezy.
Here is a tip: You can stand on the cars so when you finish winding them up, you go with them but make sure you jump off right as they hit the obstacle or you might get stuck, it saves a little bit of time. Also just saw he did that inside later in the video so don't bully me bout it

I want to say, that one swing at the very beginning you can actually grab it both hands and you go super duper fast.
It's super cool how fast you can play the game and I really enjoy watching the speedruns i hope you continue to do them.

a hint to the start, you may think that you can't move trough the cutscene but that gives you a initial speed bosst by walking ahead that will make you go directly to the other side of the starting zone

You can do it in under 15 minutes
There are early skips but once you get purple glove you can use barrel to skip to final boss

Putting some epic intense orchestral music over this is quite the experience. Especially after watching like 5 playthroughs of the game. Makes you feel like the protagonist is really on a mission.

Unless they're going for a PB or a WR, no they won't, most will take the experience in later parts of the run over restarting unless they already have a hard time to beat

That boss fight was so buggy for me, most of the times when I did the purple hand jump on the left, the camera kind of rotate a few degrees to one side, but one time (the attempt when I beat the boss, lol) the camera kept rotating in z axis to the point where the camera was almost upside down, but when it reached a certain degree, it changed rotation to the other side and kept repeating doing that. The rotation was maintained during the last cutscene, which BTW also buggued, one time catnap killed me during that last cutscene and the second time I switched to gun hand right before the cutscene triggered which made me keep the green hand.
Watching a speed run instead of a gamer who does so many over the top reactions in 3 hours to only get not even half way there is so much better
