@@megaman4354I could be wrong, but I believe it means that movement speed is not normalized, so strafing is faster than walking forward

@@megaman4354 remember when he mentioned how strafe walking is faster than normal walking? In games with unrefined, simple movement, by holding forward and strafing to the side at the same time, it adds the speed of both movements together instead of just the direction you move in.

Amanda's va is SO GOOD. She really shows emotion when Speezy starts saying "M E A T" like a demon.
I think the "creepy children's thing" is a horror trope overdone recently, but that whole section of Amanda not wanting to go the meat store like she has no agency is genuinely chilling. Her VA is really good
But this time it's good because of body horror, that's pretty much everything that saves it

@@thetruenoobgod I'd actually say the body horror of the game (the kitten part which was nearly good till the body horror) drags it down a bit. It pulls you out of your suspension of disbelief and just makes you go "heh. Weird". The game was at it's best when it was logical to being a kids show or being a scratchy VHS, like the tape sputtering and Amanda slowly smiling. The end where she hurts Wooly's knee is pretty decent too when you consider it's pretty much just a child being a conceited jerk, and that feels closer to reality.
In general, I feel like the VA did a lot of the heavy lifting. Damn was she good even when the scene was a bit dumb.

I feel like every time he practices speedruns, he eventually finds everything cute and becomes desensitized to the jumpscares.
I love how the game came out in less than a week and there's already a speedrun of this game. I love how Ben is like "We go to this closet and the code is 2862. Before we go and grab a bucket" each time like we forgot about everytime about this closet and the bucket.
Actually it wasn’t our for only a week it’s initial release date was April 8, 2022so it’s been more than half a year

If you didn’t know, when Amanda asks what your favorite pie is, if you type in Colton, it’ll transfer you to the We Can Share tape.

9:45 for anyone who didn't now but cares to know, this is a fly agaric mushroom! They are also not edible, so it's a good thing there wasn't a real pie made with it. Also EazySpeezy, I greatly appreciate the jumpscare warnings! Jumpscares themselves aren't as scary to me, it's the anxiety of never knowing when it's coming up. You know, like a looming sense of dread! And I'm sure it's also good for your younger viewers as well, or for little kids who may have just stumbled upon the video.

Because the game completely reset when you reach a ending, and there is no way to get all ending without skipping

@@KiiBon no, for some codes like the code to the vault, at the time you originally get it, the vault disappears. the game is meant to be skipped as there would be so much you have to remember. basically some things cant be opened unless you put the code in your next play through, which i honestly think is so cool.

For the meat ending I understood it as all the things that have eyes in the tapes are people/kids that have been pulled into the show & now you’re stuck in the show.

the red tape at 9:16 actually scared me more than any of the jumpscares in the game
Speedrunner tip: In the “in the kitchen” tape, if you type in Colton as your favorite pie, the “we can share” tape starts playing after a bit of static. This allows you to get the good ending and the hollow ending extremely quickly.

Yo are the jumpscares bad? I have really bad anxiety and just cannot handle jumpscares at all. The game looks cool and I read all the comments and was like "oh okay there's a jumpscare warning before them" but at the first jumpscare warning I got scared and immediately turned the video off and I could litteraly hear my heartbeat. I know I'm being a complete wimp, but now I'm on an alt account I made forever ago asking about the jumpscares because I don't know if the video will be right where I left off if I play it on my main account and jumpscare me immediately. I can handle scary stories and premises, but there's just something about jumpscares that I can't handle well

Like on a scale from 1 to 10, 1 being springtrap from FNAF3 and 10 being Foxy from FNAF4? I liked those games as a kid but could barely watch videos about them due to my sheer fear of jumpscares, but I remember those ones

I just worked up the courage to watch one, and while I can admit that was a little anti climactic, I can once again hear my heartbeat. Also, I did some research of the the 2 jumpscares I mentioned earlier, and I found out mapbot is way worse. Idk who that is, but I looked up the video and watched it like 7 times tilting the screen more and more towards myself all at 0.25 speed... yeah, I know... but dude that one is terrifying and kinda awesome

The fact that the barn looks so stoned is so funny
You can actually get both the good and best endings simultaneously. If you have all 5 tapes and get the best ending, you'll also get the good ending too, so that saves quite a bit of time. Also, you can actually paste answers from your clipboard, so if you have all the answers you need set up in a separate window, while you're waiting for the tapes to play out you can go back to that file to copy your next answer right before it shows up. It probably won't save that much time, but every frame counts.

Splashing Blabbot with water is the single most gut wrenching moral dillema I've ever faced in a horror game

whats crazy is the fact that the sound machine busting open was the scariest part of this game
The voice acting on this is so good. Amanda sounds genuinely angry.
The Barn's eyes enlarged and started breathing heavily when you typed in "Sam" hinting that the Barn knows as much or less as Wooly
The barn does this even if you do the section (entering Rooster) normally, still don’t know for sure why though if anyone knows feel free to correct me

Honestly didn't expect much in the way of speed runs from a game where you sit around watching tapes most of the time.
