30 years ago I was the target of an assault on a subway train. 4 against 1, until a MOUNTAIN (size 5XL) of a man next to me said: "I got those three - you take out wannabe Flava Flave". We jumped off, and they booked out of the car. 40 black and Hispanic people became friends at that moment. "We get up at 4 AM, work until 10, go back in at 4PM , work until 10, catching the last trains home. These hoodlums know when we get paid!" "We're robbed every damn time." "The damned po-lice can't be bothered." "What we need is guns, and the city ain't gonna do that no how."
I’m fortunate to live in a more rural area where 90% of people own guns and about 30% open carry but if I lived in that city I too would go out of my way to be a customer at that gas station.

I’m 67 years old and I have lived here all my life! It’s really come on hard times again in Philadelphia! There is always something but not like this! Crime has never been like today and it’s starting to change Philadelphia I think permanently! You have carry a firearm for protection and keep your head on a swivel! Anything can happen anywhere at anytime in Philadelphia now! Philadelphia has always been a place where you could find good restaurants and nightlife was always good here! Restaurants are closing early and lots of them have closed permanently! The Melrose dinner is closed and that was a 24 hour landmark!
Colin Noir, you are the reason I got off the fence about the 2A debate. Before I thought it didn't effect me as a non-gun owner. But the rights, they effect me in a real way. I always carry a knife on me and my right to bear those arms are being threatened nationwide. And when I eventually buy a gun, I'm glad that my state is constitutional carry. Thank you for the work that you do.
Sir here is some advice. LEARN AND TRAIN (take classes) become familiar with gun safety and usage. Learn laws regarding self defense. Your "little" knife isn't going to do ANYTHING when you are faced with a threat. GET A FIREARM. 🇺🇸
What pisses me off is that these customers are scared of them walking around with guns and yet they ARE NOT concerned about the criminals doing what they always do. You said it best: “Laws don’t stop criminals; Guns do.”

As you said, people are freaking tired of the crime, and it is obvious that the current administration is doing everything it can to make things worse. This comes down to action by THE PEOPLE.
Shit like this is bizarre to me I mean I know cities are full of crime but when you get out of the cities crime like this commonly ? Doesn't exist. Not in the burbs. Not in the country. Just doesn't exist. Cities aside which are a poor example of real everyday life of an American crime has steadily been decreasing overall for the last 20 years. Go look at what the cities were like during the 70s and compare it today. Much much worse. This is why smart people get the fk out of those places so they don't have to live in constant fear. After school started the metal detectors would be PUT AWAY in a closet and then the rest of the day the kids could come and go as they please without going through a metal detector again the rest of the day. This is the perfect example of making the public “feel safe”. It’s a shame.

Where I work in the city (Chicago) liquor stores and gas stations have 1-2 armed security guards because of past incidents and I have no problem with it.
Colion, your Sir, are most correct. Something I learned the hard way when I was about 13 is that when you need a cop, they are at the very most 10 minutes away, while most crimes are over and done with within 2 minutes! That's why myself and especially my wife stay protected. I'm wheelchair bound and people see me as a very weak target because of that fact. My wife on the other hand works over night at a local 7-11 and after around 2:30am there's not much "protection" for her store. Before her working there, that store had been robbed 12 times over the last 3 years, but since her starting working there, there have been NO successful robberies due to her open and concealed carrying.
I 100% agree with this. I work armed security for a family here in Atlanta. Unfortunately, it’s now become a problem and most people feel safer having security…..

Or, have willing teachers recieve training and carry while at work.
Make training and possession a prerequisite when hiring a certain percentage of staff.

Firearms are the number one deterrent when it comes to criminal. The mere sight of heat upon one’s hip will make a potential criminal think twice. If you are able to carry, do it. As the man said, you are responsible for your own safety.

I live in philly and this is in my neighborhood! This is to this point now...criminals dnt care anymore here, broad daylight, nighttime doesn't matter! Hardworking people are tired of being victims! We lost Wawa stores across the city because of crime so they just shut down! Im for it and still carry as well...he is doing right because criminals only respect firm action!
gangs have a much harder time taking over a neighborhood when the citizens are armed. the normal father and mother doesn't want there kids to be influenced and terrorized by gangs. the gangs might attack but, a father and mothers who's house is being invaded will fight with every drop of blood left in there veins against thugs. even a single 70 yr old man can and has crumbled an entire gang permanently when they attacked his home. in the end the gangs have a much harder time taking over neighborhoods when there is deadly resistance to defeat them.
haiti is a horror show right now as the gangs have taken over, they have guns but the citizens don't. so the citizens are at the whims of gangs, who do evil for fun. even tho it is an island with guns and ammo being prohibited they smuggle in more then enough that the police are way to scared to act, they look the other way and are corrupt. when you disarmed the citizens they are at the mercy of the gangs and the government both of which in history have shown to be the greatest threat to the common person.
Organize a firm resistance to criminals.

40 years as a police officer. I'm retired now. I still carry. Thank you for keeping us informed and for educating the people. I've always been in favor of concealed carry if the person meets the proper requirements. I'm still in favor of it.
If you can own a gun legally that should be the only requirement to be able to conceal carry. A piece of paper shouldn't determine if your holster is in or out of your jacket.
In my opinion men like you should be hired as private security. You already have the experience and training. And you’d be getting paid.
Everyone should be allowed to carry no paperwork. 🤔 No man should be able to tell another how to protect his family
You carry in your holster you don't have it in your hand at all times. I'm not against armed security but it can be unnerving if they're holding it and pointing it at people who are just trying to buy gas.
No where in any of the video did the security point the gun's at anyone!

Colion, I live about 10 minutes from that gas station and trust me, there is no doubt that you’re unsafe if your filling up there. I’m all for business owners solving problems without government intervention, so I have no issue. Most folks in this neighborhood are intimately familiar with how firearms can level the playing field and as long as it’s not just some publicity stunt I hope to see more business owners take things into their own hands.
I recall in the mid 70's, I was passing through Frankfurt International Airport West Germany, the police were patrolling in pairs, armed with sidearms and submachine guns. Gas station with armed guards no big deal. Keep up the good work.
I went to Temple University. Lost a good friend, shot from behind. Not even robbed or anything. I carry now. Girlfriend is still in school. It's been bad but it's exceptionally awful. Multiple gunshots in a day she hears sometimes. Knowing people robbed, jumped, murdered hearing gunshots as normal. Home invasions of students is normal now, they take them hostage and tie them up, literally. Would love to talk to Colion Noir about it, it's a story that no one covers.
