    In the interest of transparency, the vast majority of Amazon security personal are unarmed. The most they can do is call SPD and remove disruptive parties from the Amazon campus. The ONLY armed security personal are employed by SP+ in the position of traffic control located at each Amazon building underground parking lot exits and entrances. This is about 2 to 3 personal per building. They leave about 6 or 7pm during the weekday. The average age of those who are armed is likely 40+ or middle aged. Meanwhile all unarmed Amazon security personal are likely under 25 years of age. They are kids. I see this daily as I am a supervisor of a janitorial company that is contracted to service the 100+ Amazon building across downtown Seattle, SLU, and Bellevue. Daily I survey at least 25 Amazon buildings in the Seattle/Bellevue area for my janitorial duties. In the process I see how Amazon security goes about their day.
    To correct Fox's video, All Amazon buildings have 24/7 unarmed security regardless of executive presence. Rarely, when executives do visit they often have professional private sector security akin to their own secret service.
    In addition SEIU6 also represents all janitors contracted with Amazon.
    Fox News, previously operated by Sinclair Broadcast Group to my knowledge, is blowing the amount of Amazon security out of proportion. There is no Amazon security militia. There is merely a large watchful eye for the Amazon campus.

    I work private security down here in Texas for over 5 years (am an armed commission SO) and cannot stress how much commercial and residential properties rely on private security companies over local law enforcement. Not knocking the local LE Agencies one bit, but sometimes having your own personal armed guard at your place of business or residence already there ready to respond is a much greater comfort to people rather than having to sit and wait for an LEO to arrive on scene. Not to mention, security officers actually help LEOs a great deal, being able to handle and resolve issues in a number of areas in the private sector helps relieve police to handle more crucial roles in public safety.

    I still remember the San Diego top dog transplant who screwed the pooch then went on camera to explain he had done it because "People didn't move here to..." Yeah, he didn't last long. So many continue in his forgettable shoes. This mess began when Reagan toss millions of people off of welfare, food stamps and medical with 6 days notice, thus beginning the modern homeless crisis. Which every city turned blind eyes to other than to bulk up the anti loitering laws and such to give cops the ability to arrest, then the trend of authority policing versus respect policing, met the reality of folk with very little to lose and even less hope for better. Those types don't respond to overbearing misuse of authority meekly and have nothing left to lose. But again, ignorance was bliss and when we can't ignore... blame it on those "who should do something" but did ya bother to vote, did ya advocate for change..? Seattle is liberal, but we are conservative in our liberalism. Once friendly Seattle is now know for Seattle freeze, everyone speculates and conjectures among the other transplants they meet, the whining posts bout how depressing the constant rebuffs and rejections are to a newcomer to such a gloomy place.... GAR! Our cops have sucked and created many of their own troubles by not keeping their house clean and in order. Too the ones who have left GOOD RIDDANCE! Our police force used to be worthy of respect, hopefully these COVID years have at least forced the blinders off, as well as clearing out the very type of authoritarianism overreach personalities within the force that are the same ones who wouldn't take the VAX but have every right to handcuff you, force u up against a wall and yell in your face from an inch away with spittle flying and why should that be not ok!??! Stop talking and start listening. The people described in THIS REPORT are NOT 'The Homeless'. These people described were;
    1. 'The addicted' &
    2. 'The mentally challenged' for both of these groups homelessness IS MERELY A SYMPTOM OF THE ACTUAL PROBLEM. Giving them a home will do nothing to help because they need different help that is no longer available. They will continue to lose homes until they get real help, or die. As long as you continue to ignore this truth, you will see no improvement. Continue to label everyone as simply 'homeless' instead of recognize the 3 groups currently identified as homeless to in fact have their own unique issues and by necessity therefore DIFFERENT APPROACHES for each of the types. Or the mass failure to make a dent that is the current norm, yeah that's just gonna really get much worse now that everyone is tryin to 'get back to normal' cause the tippin point has met the boiling point and the soft ones who make the choices but have never seen the reality have no idea how much pressure has beeb builing while the. Ity paused.
