Hi Beth: Not sure if that's your name. I will be 75 y/o in July 2021 and just bought a Ryker Ralley and took it out for the first time this am. Wow, what fun. Just put 2.5 mi. on in the neighborhood. I love it. What power. Can't wait for warmer weather. Air temp is 38 deg., but I had a blast. Bucket list fulfilled. Got the Ralley because of the pot-holes in the Pgh. area.

@@RykerRydes That's what I did. Took the 3 wheel MC just to try out the Ryker. They had all 3 models (Base, Sport, and Rally), and they even had a Spyder F3 they let me try after the class. So glad I took the class because the 3 models do have differences you won't know just by looking at the dealer oir doing a short test ride. I just ordered a 2024 Sport because it was exactly what I wanted! Can't wait ti start riding and customizing!!!!
Interesting that your glove box screws were hex head that took an Allen wrenches. I just installed the slingmods lock cable and my front screws were Phillips and screws to remove the trunk latch were 8mm heads. I prefer the lock cable that attaches to parking brake but this is a sweet idea too. Thanks for showing us
Edit: Too bad the design doesnt allow for the latch to stay unlocked until you press the button a second time. That would make using it a little easier. Thanks for the video. I learn something everytime I watch one.
I believe the nut goes on the other side. That space is made to hold the nut in place so when you tighten the nut will not turn. It also gives you easy access to the Phillips screw head from the other side.
I noticed those ROX bar risers before you mentioned them. Very trick. I need those for my short arms. Will be keeping an eye out for that install video.

Another great video! I always look forward to your videos. Special tip, when attaching accessories to the battery never put them behind the motorcycles cables only on top of them. if you don't you can have connection problems for starting the bike.
⚠️⚠️⚠️ The frunk lock that is attached to the park brake is very Unsafe!!⚠️⚠️⚠️ You have to release the park break to open the frunk. If you do this on an incline your bike is going to roll!!⚠️⚠️

I notice your radiator overflows a little bit. so does mine, I do street driving very slow so I get a little more leaking you probably drive more on big open roads so yours overflow from the Cap is a little less. but I guess that’s normal. Beth I heard that Can Am or SlingMods has a cable to run to the glove box to near the handle bar for remote control. Just open and lock. It's not for security like this one but just for convenience. I love your demos I am not that good at those type of things. Have a great day.
When it comes to our Rykers everything seems complicated. I am so heavy thou I was putting on CA gel knee pads and there are two little washers to put on and I couldn't do it by so my sister in law finally got them stinkers on and she had a hard time. Go figure!

Yeah Beth and I see you still have not found that back attachment (Sissy Bar) so that when you go long hauls, like Daytona 2021 you can ease back and take the pressure off them aching back muscles!! You must be the first female mechanic on record to not have grease stained hands and I note shiny nail covering. Take care and see you next time.
I made my own lock for the box. Costed me 10 dollars to make and some thinking to make it work with a key. Then It works even If you got som battery failure(In case you have something really imortant for ex medicine.)

Hi Oliver! So nice to hear from someone in Romania!! It sounds like you 100% will need the Ryker 900 RALLY!!! It has better shocks and a more aggressive back tire for gravel roads. Like any car or motorcycle you do feel the bumps. I try to avoid them, if not I raise myself off the seat a little, so I won't feel it in my back. You can always buy after market shocks that are even better. I hope this helped! Enjoy!
I have never actually taken my Ryker in for the first service. I just changed my oil myself and visually looked over the fluids. It doesn't hurt to bring it in and have a professional look things over.
@@guapomob14 I am out of my warranty so nothing "has to be done." Check with your dealership. It is always a good idea to bring it in for a once over...tighten up the nuts and bolts, check fluids, tire pressure, filters etc...
Hi Beth Good Job on the install. I have an idea. Where the Max Mount is, I have a Linq Top Case. I thought it would be nice to have a rack mounted to the Max Mount so the rack could extend beyond the Linq case or whatever you have . Follow me? Max Mount and then a rack behind it. My local fab guy can do it for about $450-500. I know it powdered coated and strong, but too much of a cost. Have you heard of any products like this?

Felix Molina keep in mind, not everyone that watches, lives near you! But technically you could attach it anywhere. There just happened to be an empty hole there.

I agree with jerry, I looked through the posts and was going to suggest installing an in-line fuse like 6" away from the battery connection. If that red wire ever rubs through it could potentially start a fire and or damage the battery in the failure process. Love your channel and the honesty about your installing process. Keep up the great content and when your done with all the improvements, are you moving to an F3 next?
Wouldn't it make more sense to wire this to a "powered on" circuit? That way it can only be opened when the key is on. This set up, just doesn't look secure to me. Anyone can open your trunk, anytime. Just like without this expensive modification.
That's interesting. But, unless someone know the secret hiding place of the switch, I am not sure anyone can open it. If it's powered and your battery dies or your lose your key, how would you access the contents? I see your point, but I have had it on for a while now and it works well for my needs. I definitely recommend taking the can am riding class, so you can test out the Ryker before you buy. It’s very different than a 2 wheeler!!

I’m thinking about the trunk lock with the parking brake lever, since having the parking break lock is a must.

The usb is fused you could wire to that instead of the battery as power use is small

I don't see a fuse, anything connected directly to the battery should be fused or you have a fire hazzard.

Yup. Sorry about the rain. In Florida it’s too hot to work on the bike, so you do it when a cool moment comes in during a storm.
