Space games are great. I think for them to be even better would be to include all of these abilities: ship building, ability to walk through and use ship, base building, universe exploration, career\life selection, and NPC's. Empyrion comes close to this.
Green Hell is the best hard-core survival game ever made. It's actually hard, and scary, while still being fun. These guys just plain know how to make fun games, so Star Rupture has a good chance of being a top-tier game. F'in Glory to Raptoria ya'll.
You love to see it! I can't wait to get the game in your hands!!
Glory to Raptoria!
Okay, on my wishlist. We'll see.
Had seen a few scenes a few months ago and it was looking interresting, but the recent trailers do sure a great job at pumping the hype and giving a better overview of the expected gameplay. Can't wait for it to release and test it out myself.
As for the backpack comment, it is a thing 90% of the games ignore as a lot of people don't like realistic backpack space and carry weights fun in games so they all ignore this by giving way more weight and slots then possible by humans.
So, I’m not huge on space stuff and space games. However, this looks good. It really makes me think of Starfield and I enjoyed Starfield despite all that we didn’t get or how much it could be improved. This looks like it has a lot of promise and potential to be a great game this year or whenever it’s coming out. Will definitely keep an eye on it so thanks for sharing Raptor!
GLORY TO RAPTORIA
Space games are the best because of the shenanigans that occur as a result of subspace interference.
looking good, cant wait!
FOR DEMOCRACY... except when the sun ruptures!
Looks very interesting!
Too bad Starburst was already taken
looks like the abandoned Eden Star...
what i'm still waiting for, is a game similar to that minecraft clone that uses "voxel" situation. But more simplified and requires you to actually make use of things logically. No "beam builder," no "universal build tool." Need to make bricks? you have to find clay, refine it through the "drip" or "spill" process. Make a furnace to "fire" the bricks. And after so many uses the furnace falls apart because it was put together with mud. i want to see a "simplified" version of how you'd have to progress through crafting each thing you want to make.
@MageSkeleton almost sounds like space engineers that you discribe.
Once Human alike ?
I would like to finally see a physically realistic reality in the game. What I'm saying here is that if we are to mine ore, let there be a deposit of the ore that we hit with a pickaxe and see how piece by piece the ore falls off and the deposit decreases. The ore deposit, however, should be an underground layer or a rock wall, etc. It is a parody when in the game we come across a pebble lying on the ground, we hit it with a hammer, it disappears and it is supposed to be an ore deposit to be obtained. I'm fed up with such stupidly made games. When we cut down a tree, I would like to see an animation of each hit of the ax, which makes another incision in the tree, exactly where we hit... Yes, these are the details that create the atmosphere of the game. Maybe someone will finally be willing to take on this extra work and do it because it's not difficult at all and adds a lot of satisfaction to the player. Just like you, I wish someone would finally make a game like this.
Satisfactory is overhyped hot garbage that needed to take the epic exclusive deal because even the devs and publisher knew their resource sink gameplay loop was shit. Factorio is the GOAT and I don't see that changing anytime soon.
I'm not a fan of survival or crafting focused games. I prefer games with quests or missions, purpose driven games.
I don't mind survival games that actually have goals. but most of them don't.
this is never going to come out lol
This makes me hate CIG even more. This is ALL we wanted from Star Citizen, but Chris Roberts and CIG has screwed it all up!
I'm honestly afraid to buy a ship and start playing star citizen because it seems like they are just going to drag it out forever and never actually deliver
@nickc7320 They key is to pay for whatever you willing to lose. And let it cook. It's no different than kickstarting or croudfunding something with no garuntees. I've been a backer for years and although slow creep, they have been moving along, and keeping to their word. Ive had many concept ships already now "playable" Just don't buy into it thinking the mmo universe will be a game out of the box.
Their resources are in Squadron 42 their single player Campaign that which they are using as a foundation for its mmo counterpart.
