- In this video Max and Brian Van break down the first ride of our 2024 season. For 2024 Max has decided to move from MotoAmerica Junior Cup to MotoAmerica Supersport. We have raced MotoAmercia for 3.5 seasons now and plan to race Supersport for two seasons. This year we plan to do a better job of documenting the season.

I have to root for all japanese bikes, the italian bikes and so forth the "Vees" that have been ruining motorcycle racing since i have been around meh, I hope they all decide to break off and run their own series.. this way the rules can go back to being fair again . .

It's been fun watching Van and all the other talented young guns move up the performance scale. Some of the best races to watch have been Junior and Twins Cup. Now most have moved into Supersport so let the battles continue but please stay safe!

Do you guys run the aftermarket electronic throttle bodies on those GSXR's?
Would be cool to see some videos explaining what's involved in the upgrade. Or just some GSXR workshop videos about general setup or maintenance stuff.

The throttle bodies on this bike have been modified to include ride by wire. We will look into doing some videos on the bike. - Van

I don't distance fixate either, my eyes are constantly scanning and I mean everywhere, I have great peripheral so I can see behind me looking forward .. about 20-25 degrees, lotta people can,..
plus I have good vision and I know what I am looking for, id rather put in the extra work and scan for road hazards, what other riders are doing so on so forth, specially riders in my space, I wanna know what other riders are getting ready to do and to understand this you need to look for cues, welp what are the cues? welp if a rider is getting ready to turn his body generally tells you, feet set up, hand set up all those things give you a hint and each rider has his own style so it behooves one to learn each riders cues so you know whats what when you are in attack mode if someone is missing something or about to do something, of course you want to know how the traffic is stacked up far ahead as possible, keep looking into that turn thru it whatever and maybe back for a quick hazard scan? all depends and it takes a while to be able to absorb all this and then be able to use it.. its one thing to see oil on the track and another to safely react where you stay up and others around you do as well, positioning yourself, I hate to position myself in bad spots where i am hemmed in neutering turns so forth.. eliminates passing opportunities and if a bike in front of me flips over then where can I go? I like exits, always have . .

Im a suzuki die hard, that races R6. Only reason im on the R6 is because of the traction control electronics. Im stoked to see the zukis being competitive. What electronics are you guys running on the bike?
It is a full Solo Engineering system. Everything gets replaced from the harness to the dash. - Van
