    Both the Element Ecto and your set up is amazing, not to mention you backyard course! I am slowly getting out of the speed speed speed aspect of the RC hobby and getting more and more hooked on the crawling side of things. Your channel is telling me that i made the right choice. Love your content!

    Gotta love the adjustability of this set up! It certainly improved this since you first got it. It’s so much smoother! !!💯💯💯👊🏼😊
    Have a great day!🍻

    I love watching your videos, you hit that level of normal everyday RC uhh person. You need an intro though. That feels to be the thing that’s missing.

    lol, I was just looking at these to replace a dying Sidewinder4. I ended up w Holmes Hobbies Mini v3 RTR so we'll see how it goes. Also, the birds squawking were hilarious, I kept pausing the video to see where the bird was in my yard :D

    Holmes hobbies has a great video on programming a copperhead 10 for a crawler. Change your curves much more like John shows.

    Add white wire to unused channel (AUX Wire) set wire for crawler mode will allow you to go from regular breaks or trail mode toggle on and crawler breaks on...

    • @RoadsideRC
      @RoadsideRC  2 года назад +1

      I was thinking about that.
      It says the aux wire can be used to trigger many different settings actually. Not sure which one is really the most useful for me.
      Also - this will mostly be my son's crawler, and I don't want him to accidentally hit the aux switch and change something.
      We will see!

    Cool stuff Troy. It seems that putting a tune on an RC car is starting to mimic putting a tune on a 1:1 car. Being an old geezer I'm not sure if that is exciting or scary. 😁🤣🙃😀

    When you talked about the best combo you like, the 1080 esc and Holmes 21 turn brushed motor, is that 540 can size or a 550? Thanks love it that you test for us. Awesome

    Honestly the castle brushless are not that smooth on the 2850kv and higher. The lower kv are very smooth. Try a Holmes puller pro stubby and you’ll notice a immediate difference.
    I’m looking at running this esc on brushed just for the lower price point than the Holmes brxl or br mini

    These escs look decent man is it right they are for 1/18 scale and 1/16 on road and other RC cars aswell mate wondering if would be good put in my sg with my hobbywing 3652 4000kv motor and keep on 2s on road and if would be good or if it just meant for 1/10 crawlers
