Congratulations on the new truck. Volvo makes the most comfortable trucks on the road. I had a Volvo VN660 with the 66 inch sleeper. Went to NYC 3 times a week no problem. Turned on a dime and gave you 8 cents change. I use to run circles around the Freightliner day cabs my company had fir city P/D. Good luck.

I'm an old man now (75) but you make me feel young again. Your drive, ambition and love for your family is gratifying. I have followed you from the start and was probably as exited as you to to realise your ambition to own your own truck. My dear wife ( now in a home for dementia) used to caress my arm in odd moments as you do to you husband. Memories of her affection made me cry. Congratulations on the new addition to your family Lena (the Volvo FH Tractor Unit !). I got my HGV Class One Licence in 1979 at the age of 22. It was seeing a Lady Truck Driver in Scotland (Lady Truck drivers i would think would be pretty rare in the 1970s?) that encouraged me to go for an HGV 1 Licence (i was a Van Driver all thru the 1970s). I Learn't in a "Ford D Series" with a Flatbed Trailer. Love the Video's, you are an Inspiration !.
Well done Lena, I am really happy for you, it may be an old lorry but it is your own lorry and that is awesome. I think that those Gentlemen would be crazy not to hire you with your bubbly personality always shining through.

Congratulations on your first "owner driver/operator" truck,.good choice of unit, V3 460 are in my opinion one of the last proper trucks, ive got a V4 model on a 63 plate and its nice but more troublesome than your older version,.Truckfest peterborough is a 3 day event, sat/sun/b,hol mon,. enjoy lena and good luck in the future,.
A clean truck always gives a good impression. Keep it in clean iside as well . Nothing worse than a dirty truck . Thats why mine is always immaculate inside and out . But then again im the only one who drives it . Even the keys go home with me every day including holidays. One of the few transport companies which still allow this ...

Congratulations on your first "owner driver/operator" truck,.good choice of unit, V3 460 are in my opinion one of the last proper trucks, ive got a V4 model on a 63 plate and its nice but more troublesome than your older version,.Truckfest peterborough is a 3 day event, sat/sun/b,hol mon,. enjoy lena and good luck in the future,.

A clean truck always gives a good impression. Keep it in clean iside as well . Nothing worse than a dirty truck . Thats why mine is always immaculate inside and out . But then again im the only one who drives it . Even the keys go home with me every day including holidays. One of the few transport companies which still allow this ...
